For many years I have had Squire and Co. do my Businesses, Annual Audit. It has been the upmost professional, experience year after year. The CPAs that have been involved with my Audit have always been responsive and quick to answer any questions or concerns.

Connie & Shara have been a pleasure to work with. We have recently acquired a company to which Squire was partnered with. The filing process with Squire has been simple & streamlined. In addition, Connie has been helpful in SUT license closures. Lastly, the acquired company has been audited where Shara assisted us with reporting data workpapers and filed returns.

They are the hands down the best accounting firm in Utah county. I was originally with another firm up the street Hawkins cloward and simister and they messed up my taxes so bad it tripled what i owed, triggered an audit and they we charging waaaay more than squire does to boot. So i went to squire they fixed all the damage hawkins did, they helped me with the audit and got me my over spent money back. So for a fraction of the price Im getting much more competent accounting and I could not be happier!

If you have every worked for a startup company you will understand processes are not always clean which makes it difficult to map out. After working with several other accounting professionals, it wasnt until we found Squire that the accounting professional understood our industry, our less than perfect processes, and had a game plan that was both effective and efficient. Squire has done payroll for two of the companies that Ive worked for. Theyve always been very good and responsive. My fellow employees never complained about payroll-related issues. I think theyre pretty cheap, too, because I think that they use budget systems. Id definitely recommend Squire for small businesses. I think they also do accounting, in addition to payroll, but Ive just used them for payroll.

I initially contacted Squire about quick books help for my very small business. We discussed the price range and needs for my size. I met with a friendly assistant at a lower price. I was relieved to the extent in which she helped, although she didnt seem competent to help adjust an error I needed help with. Which was the whole point of seeking services. We worked through some details, follow up 2weeks after to complete what I still needed help with adjusting an error in quick books. I received an formal engagement letter that the price hourly was now much higher, to complete said, project. I did not agree, but was reassured that I would be handed off to another business to meet my needs. Since, I have followed up more than a dozen times, Ive given them 5 months to hand off my account. I get excuse after excuse, talk to multiple people and Im still waiting. "Its a busy time for us." "Let me get back to you." Tired of being brushed off. Now Im left finding somewhere else to help clean up the mess they started. Would not do business with squire unless you have time to wait around for excuses and empty promises.

Do NOT use these guys. Horrible service. They never followed up, didnt ask questions, made me late and had me file for extensions and now I am faced with fees and interest that I will have to pay on $50,000 worth of taxes that they didnt even spend the time to understand my businesses, or personal income, they were lazy and unprofessional. I could have done a better job with TurboTax...Unclear instructions, if any at all - didnt care about me or my businesses taxes - completely screwed me over to get everything done in time. As a business owner myself- these guys suck at customer service and failed to complete their job.Go find another CPA, you will thank me.
