Real Home Warranty in Davis County

For buyers and sellers, I would NOT recommend Real Home Warranty. They were less than responsive and eventually stopped responding altogether. They always had a way to try to get out of covering a claim.The money they collected from the seller of our home went into their pocket without any service provided. I realize the business model dictates that they try to avoid paying out on claims, but then why offer the service at all?

My wife and I bought our first home and had the sellers provide a guaranteed policy through Real in order to help cover some costs of outdated appliances. I submitted 3 claims which ended up costing a total of $160 IN SERVICE FEES ALONE.Real sent no service technicians and provided no service besides cutting the check. I reached out to try and clarify and received only text communication explaining this was a part of the contract.One of our claims was for $60 which means we had a 100% "service" charge for Real Home Warranty to just cut and mail a check.

I bought an older home that comes with its quarks, like most homes. They started off super responsive and then when the real issue started they wouldnt respond and ultimately wouldnt perform the duties they said they would do. When I asked for a refund, they hung up on. Real classy group of people here. I recommend going somewhere else.

Great service and they always pay out on claims.
