Love this place! My sister and I took our mom there for her birthday. We all loved our services. Would go back in a heartbeat
One of the best massages I’ve ever had. The steam room and lounge were amazing. Incredible service and experience. Also really enjoyed the slumber room!
Want to relax? They will overcharge you and then you get to spend a week calling around for your money back. Not good for your blood pressure. I paid for the hotel plus spa package and I was still charged for the spa by Relache. If you try calling the spa, no one will answer OR call you back! If you try calling the Gaylord front desk you get an out-of-country call center who refuses to help you. This was a terrible experience and an enormous waste of time and money.
Pretty sweet spa. Nellie gave a great massage
Very disappointed. I was looking forward to a relaxing massage and really all I got was stretched. Not what I expected. The spa itself is very relaxing, especially the Slumber Room.
Very nice atmosphere and amenities. Massage was just ok especially for how much it cost! Ive had significantly better massages for 1/4 the price at massage envy.
The amenities are clean and very nice and the experience was relaxing overall. But when comparing the price you pay and the services provided… things could be better. The steep up-charge for oils and stones seem like it should be included in the already pricey yet, subpar, massage.
Please!… Just make it stop!I have been to this resort on multiple occasions now and decided to treat myself to a Massage. Big mistake.! The spa part of it was fine I enjoyed the steam room sauna and lounge but Worst massage ever. I signed up with Rebeca out front for the calming massage with aroma therapy. There was no aromatherapy introduced throughout entire spa up until the very end when she had me smell something. The massage itself was not calming nor relaxing. The technician, her name started with an M, simply poured lots of oil on me pounded it in. Did not work arms hands calves nor feet Or very very little that I can’t even remember. She focused on the back and neck a lot to the point of I was quite uncomfortable. Towards the end as I laid on my back she shoved her hands and knuckles up under my neck causing almost a whiplash affect as she force my back and neck up and off the table multiple times. I honestly was at a point where I was like just in this thing please. And for all of this I got to have an automatic 20% added to my bill. Wow!!! Oh and on top of all this, the technician had the sniffles with an occasional cough, this coming off of Covid so that wasn’t relaxing either. Service performed on June 20 2022. So in summary I know it’s not the spa‘s fault but since I can’t review the individual technician, I can only review the spa itself.
Overall, it was great for my relaxing stay at the resort. I had an express pedicure and a massage. Everyone I came in contact with was very nice. The prices are resort prices so just expect to pay more than the worth. However, its a good deal if you take advantage of the amenities before or after your service: lounge, steam room, sauna, zero gravity chairs, snacks, and drinks. It was all clean and relaxing.
HydraFacial was amazing and worth every Penny of $200. On the other hand, my Deep Recovery Massage for $170 was not good at all. The therapist didnt seem to know what he was doing and there wasnt a good flow nor method to his massage technique. Very disappointed.😔Services done 1-5-22
Excellent truw spa experience! Highly recommend & will return!
My daughter and her husband gifted me with a gift card for massage and pointed toward the Relache Spa. I and a friend visited the spa and enjoyed it thoroughly. We pampered ourselves and will visit again
Let me start by saying the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is for the amenities… We usually get couples massages at another spa once or twice a month, so I was quite surprised that the quality at Relache was so subpar. The couples 100 min massage was over $700. Not nearly worth that cost. We paid to have the ‘anti-inflammation cream’ and bamboo added. Ultimately, it was icy hot (rubbed on your entire body), and hard/hot sticks pressed really hard along your spine and muscles. I like a deep tissue, but this was so uncomfortable I just kept waiting for it to end. The massage techniques were nothing special either. The amenities are decent, robes are really nice. The facial was great and worth the price. Oh, and don’t bother with hand/foot treatments. It’s $50 for a 5 min sugar scrub, paraffin and lotion. The hair services were pretty bad too. When the technician went to blow dry, she ripped tangles out of my hair instead of taking a couple of minutes to brush it out. I would definitely go back to this spa for a facial, but that is literally the only service worth the cost. In total our services were $2K, but we only enjoyed 1 of the 5 services we tried. Pretty disappointing.
I havent felt this great and this pampered in a while. It is a little pricey but I had no complaints and it is in a very popular hotel. I didnt like all the commotion back to my room but there is not much they can do about that. It did exceed my normal expectations, it was clean and I didnt feel weird about anything.
The massage was really good so I would give them 5 stars!!!! but I had an appointment with one of their hair stylist. She was running behind about 20 minutes I was fine with that, but the problem is she took 15 minutes to wash and blow dry my hair it looked terrible.. if she would of took time to fix my hair and curled it like I asked. Then I may have thought she tried…So I will have to give this a 3 Star!
This was bday present for a friend, I wanted her to have a nice experience but I am sorry to say we expected better, aye more upscale for the place and price you pay, on top of that... they charge you for extras...for using "special" oils and hot stones, (that should be included in the massage already$20 extra per item 😱😱 there are salons that offer from water to wine or mimosas and they dont charge as much! Give my wallet a break! 😅😅. They definitely had their amenities, they have hairdryers on the mirrors(for when you come out of the sauna), some snacks/candy, they have a gravity chair lounge (that was nice! If you go, because you want the experience at the Gaylord Texan and maybe have some lunch or dinner after, make sure you dont get the last appointment at 6pm, we were shortened from our time, I guess for being the last visit they are tire and just wanna go home but then, they should not overwork their masseuses. Also, if they were a bit more proactive they should tell you to give them your parking ticket to validate it, thats an extra $25, but no, we just happened to find out because my friend asked about it. Other than that, the girls were very nice and polite and the place was very clean and tidy.
This spa is very impressive! The staff is friendly and helpful. There are many indulgent amenities to enjoy here! Most recent visit edit: I love this place so much I took 8 of my co-workers here when we decided we earned a spa day. They were just as impressed as I always am. Wendy helped organize our large group and made our day even better! I LOVE this place. I added the mint scalp massage to my massage this time and my scalp tingled for 30 minutes. Worth every dime!!
We love this spa so much we come at least a month to get facials from Queenie! She is the best! The spa is so peaceful and relaxing, the amenities is second to none! Christian and Lauren are so awesome and ensure everything is up to par. You wont regret coming here!
I had a facial today with Pina, I hope I spelled it correctly, she was AMAZING! In more ways than one! I loved the facial she gave as well as the conversation we had! I can’t wait to come back and see her personally!!!! I could not give her more praise! SHE IS FABULOUS!!!
Great massage. I think her name was Tammy, she was wonderful
De-stress massage is Awesome..Atmosphere wonderful. Loved it!!
I booked a hydro-facial on our last visit here and it was THE HIGHLIGHT of our stay! I dont know why I didnt take advantage of the spa and services before, but I WILL NOT ever do that again! The atmosphere was so calming and the amenities were top notch. Spa robe and lounge were so comfortable I could have stayed in the spa rather than the hotel room, lol. Quinn was my esthetician and she was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and experienced. I will definitely be back!
I reserved a message for my wife during our stay at Gaylord. Unfortunately my wife wasnt feeling well. When I called the spa they were nice and waived the charge for cancelling.
Just scheduled my 3rd visit to this spa for next week. My sister and I are introducing our daughters on this trip. We have decided this is for sure an annual treat.
Had an appointment at 9 am and was told to come 20 minutes early. Did just that and no one was there to let me in. Service started on time but ended 10 minutes early. Did the dream catcher massage. Pressure was good, therapist was nice but having time but short was a bummer.
For such expensive prices I was expecting a great manicure and pedicure, however, it was FAR from it. Very very poor quality. And the technician, Peggy, was on her phone at LEAST every 2-3 minutes. Such nice receptionist, hotel, everything, but the pedicure/manicures are NOT worth anyone’s money. Very disappointed with my nails as well are my friends.
I have been coming here for years. Clearly the best massage I have had. I ask for Nellie since she knows my body and focuses my problem areas. I have also had Pina and she is amazing.
Perfect place for a girls day or for a relaxing day alone. I enjoy every visit. Rachel (pronounced Ra-hellis my favorite.
Very poor experience w manicure. Poor quality!!! Automatically add 20% gratuity although not deserved. Do not go.
Fabulous first experience at this spa! Called kinda last minute hoping to get my hair colored and cut and got in with Stephanie. She was super friendly and welcoming, had a great time talking to her during my services. My hair looks amazing! She made sure to tell me about all of the services offered at the spa. They have it all- hair, nails, facials, massages, relaxation. You can spend the whole day here pampering yourself! Ive already scheduled appointments to come back for a mani/pedi. Highly recommended.
I had my first facial and it was a wonderful experience. Pina took care of my sensitive skins and it was very relaxing! I highly recommend!
Very disappointing massage experience. The prenatal massage was a joke. The massage therapist would not listen to me and help me with my problem areas. I felt like for $160 massage I would get some relief and the therapist would listen to me. I am in pain and will probably have to spend money fixing their work on my back, shoulders and neck with another massage theraist. As another user said, they just spread lotion around.
After a long week in LA , I decided to fly to Dallas at the Gaylord resort to relax. I scheduled an 80 minute facial and I was extremely impressed. First off, the lounge areas are beautiful. They staff is extremely accommodating . They even have a slumber room with anti gravity chairs and blankets! I highly suggest! My facial was with Pina and I am so grateful for her. She is knowledgeable and exudes kindness with every touch. My skin had been extremely dry after a week in the desert and she provided an anti aging treatment as well as microdermabrasion and classic facial techniques. She even took extra steps around my eyes and lips where there was extra dryness. One of the best facials I have ever received. Thank you so much! I will definitely be back next time I’m in town.
Amazing facial, beautiful facility, very relaxing!
We had a great, relaxing day at the Spa. Lisa was especially welcoming and helpful. This is a little gem - no one needs to drive to Dallas to get first class service. Its here in Grapevine!
I visited Relache Spa for a body treatment and it was so Fabulous that I ended going again the next day for the same treatment. Both masseuse were fantastic!! I will be coming whenever I’m in the Dallas area again!
I have probably had close to 100 massages in my life. Today I had a Dream Catcher massage and a Relaxing Scalp Treatment with Jeannie. It was absolutely the best I ever had. I would strongly suggest her if you ever visit this Spa. She is a sweet and kind. You will definitely be able to relax even if relaxing is difficult for you.
Spent a very relaxing day this past Sunday at Relache Spa at the Gaylord Texas. This was not my first visit to this location and it wont be my last. The service was impeccable. Special shout outs to Lucas Summers and Jennie Cannon who took excellent care of my sister and me . The spa has been around for many years and I was so impressed that it has stood the test of time. Nothing seems dated at all. Very nicely appointed facility. Loved the slumber room and the zero gravity chairs plus the variety of sitting rooms so R&R. The sauna and steam room were a treat. Thanks for keeping the shower areas well stocked. We loved the various salt scrubs. We are looking forward to returning with more regularity. What an oasis were lucky to have so close to home. Thanks guys!
This is my second visit to the Replache spa. My first experience was for a $200 hydra facial, which was not great. Thought I’d give it a s cond chance. They will not do a shellac pedicure, even though the do offer shellac manicure.??? No bags on the pedicure bowls.I wear high heels 5 days a week, so I requested shellac. I’m guessing this $75+ pedicure will last 2 days before chipping. I informed the technician I would be upset when the pedicure chips.Management: from a business owner’s perspective: if water being around electrical is an issue, drain the water from the bowl before performing the shellac service...like all other spas. This seems like a ploy to have something return for an inferior service they don’t want.
I had the opportunity to have a relaxing massage during a recent stay at the hotel. It was an amazing experience. I highly recommend booking a massage with Will.He won’t disappoint.
Wonderful facility and services. Its a great traditional full service spa with wonderful steam room and sauna. They offered different scrubs for showering and hands that produce the softest hands.
Absolutely the WORST massage I have ever had. Please save your money and do not get a massage here. He literally just rubbed lotion and no actual pressure applied. I felt way more tense leaving there than when I arrived. Also they did not cover you up the traditional way when working on different areas of the body. So frustrating. I wish I would have known prior. Came here to celebrate my birthday and was very sad I did. The spa facilities are awesome. Great lounge area. Clear locker rooms. And enjoyed the fitness facility. They do not regulate the indoor pool so there were kids everywhere and no empty chairs or beds. Defiantly not an area to relax.
Very disappointed. My daughter and I wanted a quick pedicure on my birthday so we went with the on-the-go pedicure since we were staying at the Gaylord for the weekend. Two of my nails have chipped already because apparently a $50 pedicure does not warrant a top coat. In general a complete disappointment.
Beautiful relaxing spa with top notch staff! Jessica at fd/spa tech deserves a raise, shes attentive, friendly and goes above and beyond. Thank you for an awesome experience.
I come to Texas every year and make getting a massage here a must do. The staff are very friendly, kind and provide amazing service. It doesnt matter who Ive had a massage from, they are always better than I ever remembered. I love taking my time to relax by going to the steam room, and showering after a good massage and utilizing the room suggested for naps. I love that they provide hair dryers, products and various other niceties. Its a great place to unwind and recharge. Worth every penny!
I had a great message in fact one of the best I have had in a couple years. Very relaxing. The spa amenities are also very nice, they have great showers, steam room and sauna. Everything is clean and well maintained.
Unfortunately our experience was less than enjoyable. We arrived early as directed then signed in - literally wrote our names down in the respective lounge on the clip board before meeting up in the co-ed lounge where we waited and waited and waited. They could not "find" us when it was time for our services and even called my cell phone (which was not on my personand left a message asking if we were on our way. The room where we got our mani-pedi was empty, and now we know why. Will not return to this establishment.
I have been coming here for 4 years. There is a massage therapist here named Nellie who is just so worth the drive and money. The spa itself is slightly dated and pricey but Nellie makes it all worthwhile.
Great place to have a relaxing spa day with girlfriends. I will be back for sure! I plan to spend more down time in the sauna & steamroons. A few friends & I went this am. We all loved our massages! Our pregnant friend loved her prenatal massage too. The staff were all super friendly & helpful. My massage was with Dani, I highly recommend.
The Facial and Custom Massage were 5 stars! The nail salon only 1 star! Over priced and under served. Ended up paying $300 for 2 mani/pedi. No acrylic tips, no upgrades. Ridiculous. I will never go there again. Greatly disappointed.
