Great food and atmosphere! Best island food here in Seattle! Definitely coming back!
We did the "Dining in the Dark" experience and it was amazing. We were a little nervous but it ended up being a fantastic experience with amazing food. The staff were amazing and friendly, Ricky and Joe specifically. They accommodated my dietary restrictions and the substitutions they made were delicious. Bartender Joe makes some ridiculously good drinks too!
Tried “dining in the dark” here. They use this as a gimmick to make money. There is no coherent concept, execution is poor, ambiance is nil. You might as well eat airline food with a sleepmask on.You get an extremely average meal, terrible and overpriced drinks all items already on the menu served banquet style. They understaffed, some meals came 15mins after the rest had been served. The host drags around a loud speaker with no audio control blaring nonsense.Do not waste your money. Try the concept anywhere else, this is just bad snake oil.
An absolutely amazing experience! Eating blind folded really was interesting. You really have to trust your surroundings and chef lol. But it was great! The staff was great! For was 🔥🔥. Vegan tacos with potatoes in the inside... Genius!!! I cant wait to take another friend!!
As a Filipino, I love and appreciate Remedium ❤️ Especially for their pork sisig! It’s hard to find sisig that tastes authentically Filipino, so when I do, I come back for it. I’ve come back for Remedium’s sisig a few times (and counting). It’s fatty, it’s crispy, it’s got a bit of acidity from the lime, it’s got the egg! Delicious.
Came here for a cocktail class which included drinks and dinner (options included burgers and tacos). We huddled around the bar while Joe worked his magic and showed us how he makes his tasty, strong drinks!! My favorite was the Reaper’s Blush.Definitely plan on going back and trying out some other drinks… hoping to learn more cocktail tips and tricks!
If I could give this place ZERO stars for the horrible cocktail class experience we had on 17th Dec 2021 I would. We booked our cocktail class (mixologyonline 2 weeks ago and then called to schedule our time slot for Friday 5:30PM. We were a group of 4 friends. We got here at 5:30pm and were seated at the bar where the cocktail classes take place. Joe the famous Seattle bartender was there with another helper to help him through the class. This was a L shaped bar and there were a group of 4-5 girls seated on one side and the other side was occupied by my friends and I. Lets get started! We could barely hear Joe. He had a mask on (totally acceptable this is a pandemicbut the reason we could not hear Joe was because Cure Cocktail folks have shared the space with Alice in Wonderland cocktail experience event! The hosts for that event had microphones and were screaming shouting yelling while playing games in the same damn area we were seated for our cocktail class. We just gave up on hearing Joe (who did not have a microphoneinstead asked him what was in our drink when he served it to us. Also Joe was constantly talking to folks seated on the other side of the L shaped bar completely ignoring us. What a waste of $50 per person and it also ruined an experience and an evening for our friends and us. The drinks were good but we might as well have been seated at another bar in peace than come for this class where we could hear absolutely nothing.Alice in wonderland cocktail experience was cheaper than pur cocktail class tickets and we really regretted not going there instead of sititng at this bar and wasting time and our peace of mind. They offered pineapple burger, chicken adobo tacos and pork tacos during this experience. The food was okay. The cocktails were good but i did not take back anything crom this so called cocktail making class. It is just not fair to have 2 events in parallel at the same venue to maximize profits! Even if you want to do so please do so at another slot so everyone has a good time. I will NOT recommend this cocktail experience to anyone ever! What a Waste of money!
So much fun! I didnt want out evening to end. The Alice in Wonderland experience is a must-do.
Really cool place. We went for a spiked Mad Hatter Tea party The Alice Cocktail Experience and it was spectacular. Superbly acted and fun.
We came here for the immersive Alice in Wonderland experience. The actors were fun but the drinks were just so bad. I could even drink two of them. For that money i was very surprised that the drinks were not at least good. I’m glad I went but I don’t think I’d recommend. Better ways to spend the monies.
Fun place! Staff was great!
I really don’t like giving poor reviews because it does affect the business unless it’s deserved. I got the Alice in Wonderland immersive experience. The drinks were SO bad. Especially for it bringing a cocktail bar. Supposedly the owner is a well known bartender in Seattle. I would not be able to tell that by the drinks I was served. The drinks that came with the show were so bad. The shot was the first drink and it was okay. Just a sugary shot with whip on top. The tea we made tasted like literally nothing. The party to the side of us asked if there was even alcohol in it. The last drink was a sugary tequila sunrise. I also paid for a pre show drink, that was a sugary delight as well. I would have given this 5 stars if my drinks were even half way decent.
Fantastic experience! Best with a friend or two and a full stomach.
Such a fun experience with the Alice themed drinks and games!
We went here for a blindfolded food event and the food was wonderful and the chef was an absolute delight.
Did the "Dining in the dark" event here. Atmosphere was cute and experience was cool, but the food was a solid OK. Cocktails were perfect, Joe did a great job there. Id suggest the poke-style dish and the sweet potato creme brulee. The seafood had a lot of fish sauce, some of the shrimp were dry n chewy(but they had to peel them 1st since we were blindfolded, so the chef probably wasnt used to the new cooking methodand my meat was a bit dry and chewy. If you want traditional Philippino /guamanian/island food this is def the spot though, youre probably used to these flavors.
They had an event going on and so there was a lot of noise. The drinks were ok, the one we loved was the mango pina colada. They almost have no vegetarian options. We got the fries and cheese for our friends. And the grill options on their menu end at 9 so no skewers.
The Alice in wonderland was a great experience! Great little bar and the bartenders were concerned with dietary restrictions. Thanks for a great night!
Attended The Alice: Immersive Cocktail Experience here. It was entertaining and fun. Youre allowed to dress up if youd like.
Had a reservation today for the seattle restaurant week which had discounted charcuterie boards.Called 1 day before the reservation and confirmed the price/special.We showed up and they said it was a misprint and would not honor the price, we left without ordering anything. Wont go back with the bait and switch tactics
Not sure if it was just an off night but I got a charcuterie board for my partner’s birthday and the quality was very poor. I have ordered from here before and the quality seems to have decreased over time… not worth the price tag anymore.
Amazing Hawaiian fusion food abd a wonderful happy hour. Im still drooling thinking of the Kahlua pork tacos. Even the musubi was delicious. Who knew spam could taste so good. Mind blown!
We came by 40 minutes before they close and were told we were 5 minutes before last call for food but when asked to see a menu so we could put in our order quick they worked hard to make sure we understood that they had no interest in serving us. Why say that youre doing last call if what you mean is the kitchen is closed? Its fine if youre closed but this was kind of rude and off putting. Not how you make a first impression for sure.
Wonderful dinner, very helpful staff. Made recommendations that turned out to be exactly what we were looking for. Will return when we are back in town, thank you for a great experience.
The food was great, but the service was absolutely terrible. No one checked on us for the entire night, I had to get up two or three times to request service and the employees seemed to only help and entertain the people sitting at the bar. I was extremely disappointed.
Would have given a 5 star, but the food wasnt good. And over priced. But the drinks were Awesome and the bartender was totally cool. Will be returning to spend dollars on well mixed drinks and good company.
I saw that they had a happy hour deals so we stopped by! I had the tacos which were pretty good but the showstopper was the burger that my boyfriend ordered. I was skeptical of pineapple on a burger but the way it was grilled gave it this wonderfully deep, complex, not too sweet flavor. Absolutely amazing.
i had been wanting to give this place a try, and was so happy to get the chance to. we ordered off the happy hour menu so for how filling it was it was priced ok for us. i got kalua pork tacos, my partner got the pineapple burger, and we split a spam musubi roll. we had a very nice experience, our server was delightful and the bartender made a killer aviation which made me happy, so well definitely be back.
Ill start off by saying, I came during happy hour, and left with a new goto spot for happy hour. If the rest of the food is anything like the happy hour food, this place will be around for a very long time. The people working there are pretty cool. Great conversation. Their bartender claims to be a mixologist. I ordered an old fashion or something like that which is pretty bare bones, but he added a few personal touches. I was solo on this trip and sat alone at the bar. So great servers helped with the 5 star experience.I feel like Im forgetting something. Oh, my food. Probably one if the best burgers Ive ever had. Slight bit of pink on the inside. Chicharron styled fried chicken skin. Pickles. Plantain ketchup. I lost my mind mid meal. Ha.
Seated almost immediately, recommend getting a table in the back. There’s a little stairway leading to a slightly lower level, the place is well-decorated with a nice balance of modern + natural plants/lighting. Peach Bellini was sweet and refreshing and came fast, very reasonable price ($10). Food is slightly pricey and takes just a bit longer but well worth the wait! My friend and I ordered the Sirloin Steak Skewers and the Sizzling Pork Belly Sisig Plate. Food presentation was lovely and very appetizing, the sizzling of the hot grill-plate was enticing. Meat was juicy, the pineapple sweet, and the fried rice was flavorful. We split the two orders and both of us got a good amount to eat! All in all a great exercise and would recommend and bring more friends in the future, thanks for the service! :)
The warm ambiance along with the sophisticated decor establishes a comfortable, homey setting for dinner. The food offerings are unique, featuring Hawaiian style fish or Kalua pork tacos and spam musubi sushi rolls.
Great service and even better food! Drinks actually gave me a buzz, and the atmosphere was great! (:
A friend and I were visiting Seattle and wanted to try a cool and exciting restaurant. Upon getting to the restaurant the workers seemed a bit hesitant to serve us. They sat us at the very back of the restaurant. The table was between a wall and a curtain, very unappealing. The server brought us water with no ice. We asked one of the workers if we could sit somewhere else and she reluctantly said yes. We said thank you and she did not respond. How rude!! We sat there for an additional 10 minutes and no one came to serve us. No one came so we left and went to another restaurant. We were visiting from Georgia and have never been treated like this. I DO NOT recommend.
Real deal Hawaiian food and cocktails! Everything grilled to order, food was piping hot and incredibly flavorful.
Very beautiful plating. My steak skewers were delicious, a few chunks were pretty grisly. The service was fantastic and the pisco sour was perfect. Its a new restaurant so I am sure they will be working out any kinks. I am excited to eat there again for sure
Best Hawaiian food in Seattle. Heck we spent 2 weeks on Kona last year and very few places compare to this one. We got the Pineapple burger and the pork Tacos, which were a-class. The thick cut fries were well done but not oily. The fried spam Musubi was unique and we loved it. Waiting for dessert but cant help write this review before...All of this was $20 for restaurant week. Were coming back soon.
Pre-pandemic visit review:Busy place during happy hour. Regardless, the staff makes sure youre well attended to with their great cocktail and beer selection. My memory fails me as to what small plates we ordered but the charcuterie board was amazing!A place where you can go, take your time chatting with friends and not be rushed out the door.
Its a unique take on hawaiian/asian cuisine. I like the layout right now for covid-19 for outdoor seating. the servers are really nice. Food wise it was a 50/50. We liked one dish over the other and the price is on the higher side. We got the banh khot --- and it wasnt even banh khot, it was like a very small version of a banh xeo and for 2 bites, it will cost you $9. It was also super greasy as well. the chicken skewers though was really good. It was tender and juicy, and it came it rice, mac salad and potato salad, it also came with a pineapple :)
Great food, have gotten takeout twice and really enjoyed-can’t wait to try out drinks as well post-covid
The Build Your Own Barbecue didnt disappoint. Each of the meat selections was perfectly cooked and the sides surprisingly carried their own weight.
Remedium exceeded every expectation I had! The food was incredible and the service was exceptional. The staff were very accomodating and friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant and cant wait to go back!
Great food and a great experience if youre looking for a nice night in with some craft drinks. The to-go drink package we got along with the ultimate charcuterie board was great..and the meatball sub was also amazing. They definitely have the delivery experience and whole bring it to you system down.
TLDR: Amazing cocktails and charcuterie boards. Cozy romantic ambience. Horrible service.I’ll start with the pros:- This hole-in-the-Wall bar in Capitol Hill is family owned and has a wonderful charm of its own.- With string lights across the bar and candles on every table, this makes for a perfect romantic date spot.- Cocktails here are impeccable. Don’t go by the menu, the menu doesn’t list a lot of drinks whose pictures I found on yelp or google. You can just tell the bartender what you feel like having and he will whip something up!I had the “what’s up doc” (which is not listed on the current menu), this drink is inspired by Bugs bunny and has carrot juice among other ingredients! A very unique concoction.I also asked the bartender for a drink with chocolate and egg white, he whipped up a splendid drink that I thoroughly enjoyed.- With a yelp checkin you get a free cheese and crostini board which was amazing! Now for the biggest con:- Service is terrible. They just have 2 people working here who juggle between bartending, cooking and waiting on tables.- It took a while for them to take our order, even longer to bring us food and drinks and even longer to get the bill. This was extremely frustrating as a customer. they should really contemplate scaling up.If I wasn’t so much in love with the cocktails, I would’ve given this place 3 stars.
Went with my husband for a nice night out and the waitress was short and snooty with us and we were the only ones there. We ordered drinks and a large charcuterie plate and tried to be friendly with the waitress but she seemed to be annoyed by our presence. I was excited to bring my husband to this place but I wont be recommending them in the future because of this unpleasant experience. The meats and cheese were good so I will give it 3 stars for that but with no one else in the restaurant at 6pm I was highly disappointed by our service.
Really good drinks and great food. I recommend talking with the bartender about what drinks you like and let them come up with a custom drink for you. It makes the experience more unique. Chill place to hangout, eat and talk. Service was a little slow because it was just 2 people working while we were there. But they acknowledged it, without us bringing it up, apologized and gave us 10% off our bill. They didnt have to do that so we appreciate the gesture. Having a staff that makes sure you have a good time is invaluable.
Went here at midnight, thankfully they’re one of the few bars that is open until 1am during week days. The bartender was really friendly and helpful when my friend asked for a drink recommendation. The highlight of my visit there was trying out and learning about the experimental cocktails made by the bartender. I would go here again for another one of those unique cocktails.
OMG THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. Their small plates are to die for and their mixology classes are AMAZING. Try their bartender speciality cocktails, theyre amazing!
Super cute place to enjoy a good drink. Friendly bar tenders, good music, unique vibe.
Friendly service and nice cocktails specials. The churros werent amazing, but the location is very convient for a drink class.
The Cure is a hidden treasure. Literally two steps off of all of the actions on the Pike/Pine corridor, yet its got this amazing cozy and chill ambience. I hesitate in sharing this place with yall because Id be so sad if this turned into another over-crowded place on the Hill.Ive been coming here for a year or so, but havent felt compelled to write a review, until now.Theres been a change in ownership, and its subtle. Theyve kept most everything the same, including the menu, so as to keep the regular. But what they have now, what theyve added to the menu and the place in general, is Joe, his amazing mixologist skills, and the wonderful customer service. I swear this man is like a wizard with his drinks. He has fun with his concoctions, and you can tell the man is passionate about what he makes. Check out the new additions to the menu (like dragonfruit mojito, or cucumber rose martini), but really, the best kept secrets are off-menu.Joe has made me a different drink every time, and Ive loved every single one of them. I even trust him to put matcha powder and egg white in my drinks. Ask him about Pretty in Pink, Love Potion, Part Time Lover and more. He promises a hot chocolate/rumchata inspired drink next time I return. Hes definitely my favorite bartender in all of Seattle, and the Cure is definitely my favorite bar.Update: hasn’t had the hot chocolate drink yet, but meanwhile here’s the First Thing First (coffee drink adorned with a freaking Krispy Kreme donut& the Aqua Hurricane. I might have wept silently when those drinks came my way.
