Re|Claim Fitness in Will County

Really wish this gym was a 21+ after 10 pm during the weekdays. Just witnessed a bunch of teen guys taking pics in the loft area for 30 minutes. Felt very uncomfortable/cringe.

Most of the gear is pretty outdated. Most of the benches are wobbly and most of the pulley machines stick. The gym is usually much too crowded to comfortably get through a full workout. I would give less stars if the staff wasn’t so nice and they weren’t open 24/7.

Great gym, lots of good equipment.

Avoid this gym at all costs. They will make it next to impossible for you to cancel even if you tell them you are out of the state they need you to show up in perwon, requiring a notice and for you to pay months in advance. And then they will hire a company to try and attack your credit score over a $50 bill. Join a real gym.Equipment, staff and 24/7 access are amazing but not worth it.

Great place to workout especially after hours its open 24/7 for members. (More equipment has been added to the gym as well)

Love the gym, plenty of equipment, unfortunately had to cancel because I moved too far for a daily commute. Manager made it super easy to cancel. Props to him. Too many horror stories about gyms making it super hard to cancel. If I ever move around here again, ReClaim will have my business.

Gary is the nicest most wonderful person my husband and I have ever met. He treated us like royalty when we went to check out the gym. He took the time to show us around, talk to us to get to know us, and we didn’t feel rushed or like he was too busy for us by any means, it was quite the contrary. The gym is doing a toy drive right now for Christmas and they do great things for the commujtyy and it just has a great family feel. They love military and we’ve honestly have never been treated so well in our lives. Thank you so much :)

The staff are professional, friendly and have clear communication skills. I seldom, if ever, had to wait for the use of a machine. The gym is clean and they provide cleaning spray for use.My biggest problem (and reason I ended my membership after joining less than 6 weeks priorwas that the Covid protocols are horrid. The gym doesnt require a mask, which is left to the discretion of the owners. However, they do not enforce a 6 social distance if members choose to go maskless. So that sign on the door telling people to do so is more of an encouragement. When you sign up with the gym, they make you sign a waiver that they are not responsible if you catch Covid. It is a private business and the owners absolutely have the right to set whatever standards they wish, but Id rather go somewhere that enacts even the bare minimum levels of prevention.Edit to Add: Thank you to the owners for reaching out. My incident involved a maskless member of the gym, who chose the machine next to mine despite a number of free machines. I immediately put on my own mask and politely asked them to do the same. They refused and gave the equivalent of "make me". I politely asked staff about the policy of social distancing / masking up if youre less than 6 apart and I was told that it was could not be enforced. Purification systems are wonderful and its genuinely heartening to hear that the owners are dedicated to the welfare of their patrons. The chance for infection goes up immensely at distances less than 6, and as someone with parents that are older thats a deal-breaker.

I have been coming to this gym for close to a decade now and have never been to a more friendly gym…the front desk ladies (Alyssa and Melalways greet me with a smile and ask me how my day is…the equipment is always clean and ready to use and the Manager Gary very professional and on top of his game…the water is also always cold and refreshing during and after the lift! Would not recommend any other gym besides this one!

I really like that ReClaim Fitness went 24 hours with the new owner. It is so much more convenient for me to go late in the evening. If I need to use the massage bed I can without finding someone to give me access. There are plenty of towels and spray to wipe machines down. The staff that I have talked with have been helpful. The overall cleanliness and lighting are great. Very positive improvements overall! My only complaint is still the same that I have had for several years. The music is TOO loud especially when the staff isnt there. Most people wear headphones but it is pounding over the audio on my headphones. My husband and I have asked many times in the past to turn it down so it is subtle background music. This is my time to focus and concentrate on myself. It is hard when I have that bass pounding in the background all time.

I’ve been going here for quite some time now.I was referred by an old friend who is currently working here, and I couldn’t be happier.Everything is clean, good people and great staff.Look forward to more years training here!

Gary and Alyssa make a perfect team!! Registering was so easy and the gym is kept in perfect shape. All the equipment is kept spick and span and I have to applaud all management for that. They also have a good supply of 33 water bottles that I can purchase when I work out. Thanks!!!

Dan and Garrett are the consummate professionals!!! They are always willing to work with you to correct form and to push you when they know you have more to give. Best value for the type of workout I’m looking for. I love this place!

I’ve been working out here for almost 2 years now. The environment is great and healthy. Everything is clean and new as well. Great place for beginners or seasoned lifters. Plenty of machines and free weights so you can really lift in any style you want. There is ALWAYS enough cardio machines too (treadmills, stairs, etc). Wouldn’t wanna lift anywhere else!!! (Open 24 hours too which is amazing)

The gym itself is great. Wish there were more racks. Very young crowd, which can be annoying when there’s 26 kids huddled around machines and racks. NOBODY re-racks their weights here, so that’s a free workout in itself. Maybe do a better job cleaning under and around equipment as there’s a bunch of hair collecting around them.

Equipment is kept clean and staff are incredibly nice. Definitely my favorite gym out of all the ones ive been to in the area. Would highly recommend.

Awesome gym I’ve been coming here for 4 and a half years and they always keep this gym in great shape and it seems to always be getting better. Highly suggest this gym it deserves the 5 star rating!

This place is awesome. I have been coming here for years and have always enjoyed it. Great staff and have met a lot of great people here. Stop complaining about the price raise. Your priority should be your health. You can come up with 25$ a month to have a better life.

Stopped going to this gym a long time ago and they didn’t notify me that they were upping the price of the monthly membership I found out by looking at my bank account. Then i go in to cancel my membership ship and I guess the staff leaves earlier than they used to so I couldn’t cancel. When i finally was able to cancel it they need a 30 days notice so basically no matter when you cancel you get charged for the next month even if it’s 3 weeks before the next monthly payment

Will charge you even though you cancel your membership. Good luck disputing it with your credit card company. The manager, Gary, is very dishonest and will send your credit card company falsified information to make it look like you used the facility on dates you weren’t even there! Dishonest business practices!!!

Had a wonderful experience signing up with Re|Claim Fitness in New Lenox. Melanie, who I believe is the GM, was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to answer any and all questions. She made the sign up process easy and seamless. Really glad to hear the gym is now open 24 hours.

I went to sign my son up for the New Lenox Reclaim Fitness and I got lucky when the person helping me was Melanie, the GM. She could not have been more patient with all my questions and the free weight area was very clean! Any worries about a safe workout space are gone - this was an easy decision.

Ray and his team have done an fantastic job providing a clean and social distanced environment to work out in. I feel safer at Re-Claim then most any other public place, store or restaurant. A big shout out to David who is continually cleaning and sanitizing. I have been a Very satisfied member for 17 years.

Reclaim continually strives for the health and safety of their patrons. It is a small gym that offers a lot. I personally like the New Lennox branch in large part because of the set up is more conducive for me, the flow is better.

Love this gym. Started my fitness journey here about a year ago and it has set me on a good path. I am leaving the area so sadly I will not be able to keep going but I will recommend Reclaim to everypne.

This is such a great gym with such a friendly staff. Also very helpful when I had to put my membership on hold for when I was pregnant and was hospitalized for most of my pregnancy. I can’t wait to return and see how the daycare is.

I’ve been going to Reclaim since they opened and every time I enter Gary is so friendly and inviting. This gym is one that has fair pricing and a friendly staff. I would recommend this gym to anyone looking for a new place.

Reclaim is by far my favorite gym Ive ever been a member of. Front desk staff is awesome and welcoming which is a good bonus to starting a workout. The gym itself is very clean and brightly lit (plenty of windowswhich personally I like. All of the equipment is in good condition and its very fairly priced (even with the child care package).

I’ve been training at this gym from the first day it opened. The staff is great and the facility is always kept clean. I’ve even had the pleasure to work there for Gary and Ray back in my younger days and have nothing but good things to say about them. All in all, great people and a great place to conquer your fitness goals. Keep up the good work!

I love the classes & private training! However, my biggest judgment in fitness centers is cleanliness. The womans locker room is disgusting! I was there during the evening and there was toilet paper all over the floor and smelled of urine!! The very next morning the facilities were in the same if not more disturbing condition. PLEASE CLEAN THE LOCKERROOMS!!

Just started going to this gym and I love it! Great community with lots of options for dynamic workouts. They have a vast variety of machines and free weights. I like the music choice. Clean modern locker rooms, and nice wide open room for lunges, box jumps, and stetching. I highly recommend checking the gym out!

Im one of the regulars and every day I get the same awesome service from these guys. You cant beat the price or the service! This is definitely the best gym Ive been to. It tops LA and Golds! Dan, Dan, Dave, Alphie, Colleen, Lindsey, Gary, and of course Ray are some of the trainers/managers Ive come to know and like alot. If youre looking for a great gym that has everything you need for the best price, look no further!

Ive been with Reclaim for about 2 years now and I absolutely love it. The staff are always friendly and willing to chat. They have plenty of machines and equipment and a lot of classes. You really cant beat the quality of the gym for the price!

Dont know what that guy is talking about disrespecting women. Ive been going since it was known as Cardinal. Ive never seen staff disrespectful to anyone. Gym is clean and enough equipment to keep busy. Some equipment could be updated, but they keep it in good repair.For $10 per month it is kept up very well.

I hate gyms...but I know what makes them good or bad. This one is pretty good. Staff is helpful and friendly. People are average across the board. There a couple of creeps/weirdos but no more than normal maybe even less than other gyms Ive been too.Overall its a good clean gym.

I think that this is a great gym and the staff is very friendly and personable. I enjoy getting met by positive upbeat people when i come. Matt and Gary are always fun to talk with and Dan is a great trainer.

This place may not be 24/7, but being open until 11pm everyday (except for Sundays, when it closes at 7is good enough for me. The staff is super friendly and helpful! They even have cheap classes/training sessions. The equipment is almost always in working condition, and when something breaks, its fixed very quickly. Definitely happy with only paying $15 a month!

Great gym overall. Very clean and friendly staff. There are a plenty of cardio machines, weight machines, and free weights. I just wish there was 1 more squat rack. Cant beat the price around here either.

This gym is perfect for someone who wants a smaller gym with all the basic equipment. Theres no pool, sauna, or any of the bells and whistles you get at LA Fitness, but this gym has what matters. The staff is very friendly and offers free memberships to military members, which is very much appreciated.

One of the best gyms Ive been to in the area. I frequented this location many times when the gym was still branded as "Charter Fitness." Since then the gym has separated itself from the Charter name and taken on the new brand of Re|Claim. Regardless, the gym is still the same - unchanged and an awesome place for all your fitness needs.

I had a nice experience with the staff. They are very welcoming. The place is spotless no dust or muck. The whole staff is superb. This cardio palace makes all the other gyms a mockery. Ive been a member since 03 and have never had a problem. Thank you charter fitness for making my day.,Nancy Poland
