Não sei descrever por palavras. Experimentem. Simplesmemte tudo perfeito. Desde do prato principal á sobremesa, decoração muito agradável, atendimento com uma simpatia que nos faz sentir em casa. Os meus pais ainda foram presenteados no final da refeição com um vinho do Porto reserva 2007.Super recomendo!! 🥰

Very nice place to eat. With beautiful and local food and drinks!

My husband and I went to this lovely restaurant for dinner. Lovely atmosphere. We had a vegetable soup and a traditional chicken soup. Followed by a large veal steak with potato chips, rice and salad. I was very grateful they were willing to prepare my part of the steak well-done. As dessert we had the chocolate mousse and the cheese cake. It was a fantastic meal accompanied by wine, sparkling water and a 15 year old port wine to finish it off. We both enjoyed the dining experience. The owner, Joaquim Lopes, was very accommodating and gave us a fabulous, attentive service. I can highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Courteous service. We really enjoyed the food. The meat was tender and well seasoned. It was a successful conclusion to our visit to Geres National Park.

The restaurant is beautifully done, very special. Our lunch was exceptionally good. The wine and beer were good. All at a reasonable price.

Excellent service and food. We had a bottle of the house white wine, which was very refreshing, and the Seafood Rice for Two, which was incredible, but beware: it’s enormous. Maybe it’s for two… giants? Two people barely managed to finish half of it for dinner, and we were hungry. We got the rest to go and enjoyed it again for another couple meals the next day!

Amazing traditional Portuguese food. We were very happy to find it on our trip to Geres.

Me and a friend had the pleasure of visiting this lovely restaurant. We had a fantastic meal and beautiful wines. The restaurant has a lovely ambience. Topped the meal off with a cheesecake and the perfect Irish coffee. Thank you.

Amazing restaurant with amazing food!I don’t understand why people didn’t rate it as 5 star, I mean, good food takes time, especially family-operating places, and this place absolutely deserves to wait a bit for the amazing food here!I love the meet and chick soup, and I love the view there and the very friendly and kind services.I usually don’t give too much review to restaurant but this one I’m gonna give it a good one.I definitely will give very high score, and please people don’t give such an amazing restaurant bad score please, this restaurant FOR SURE deserve much better!

A little restaurant which is beautiful on the inside but nothing beats the views on their terrace. An amazing place to watch the sunset and enjoy their simple but great food. We tried the tuna pate, the veal steak accompanied with a nice red wine and the lime mousse. Everything was tasty and abundant. The owner and the waitress were very friendly and attentive! We definitely recommend this place. Obrigada!

Excelente vista! Atendimento muito cordial e afável. Talvez justificasse a contratação de mais um elemento de atendimento ao público, pelo menos nas horas de maior afluência (apesar do espaço também não ser muito amplo). Quando aos pratos, comemos a posta Cabreira e estava impecável. Quer no tempero como no ponto da carne. O preço não será o mais barato para uma refeição do dia a dia mas também não era esse o propósito da nossa visita. Recomendo!

Estivemos muito tempo á espera que se dirigissem a nós. A empregada passou por nós 5 vezes sem nada perguntar, para depois dizer que não têm mesa, quando tinham várias mesas vazias. Não deu sequer a sugestão de comermos na varanda que estava com mesas vazias.No mínimo dizia logo que não têm mesa e íamos embora.

We had the most lovely experience at this restaurant, felt very welcome, delicious food and wine from the region. Our waiter was very kind, at the end of our meal he brought us a glass of his favourite port and then left us the bottle to have more. Thank you and if we’re ever in the region again we will definitely return

Quiet place to have good regional food

The food was absolutely delicious and the staff amazing. The picture is a veal steak for one but easily serves two. Check if card payment is available as it was temporarily down due to network issues so I had to return next day leaving 50€ outstanding. The owner was very apologetic but was not at fault.I didnt mind returning as lunch the next day was equally as good along with the views of the surrounding hills made it memorable.I highly recommend this restaurant and will revisit when in the area.

Un restaurante de carretera, con unas vistas impresionantes. Si podéis sentaros en la terraza es el lugar ideal. Sobre la comida decir que la carne para el precio que tenía nos ha parecido bastante dura y peleona. Además primero nos ha querido cobrar el típico aperitivo portugués de unas aceitunas y pan con mantequilla (1,5€ + 1,50€que nunca sacaron a la mesa. Y después de esto la cuenta de 44,50€ le hemos pagado con un billete de 50€ y nos ha devuelto solo 1,50€, hemos tenido que reclamarle el resto del dinero. Le pongo 3 estrellas porque la comida no estaba mal y las vistas suben la nota pero no volvería después del trato…

Food is cantina quality but priced like a fancy restaurant. The waiter was ok - bread and olives 4.50€ extra charge (without asking). Eat in the valley - theres more competition

Cozy atmosphere , tasty good, awesome service

There is the place downstairs for local people and upstairs for unfortunate tourists who happen to stop here. Expensive and the food is mediocre to terrible. Avoid.

Poor Service, Terrible Food (the worst the we had in Gerês area).You can eat 10x better in any small restaurant/café by the road for half of the price!

Fabulous meal. Wonderful host. We shall return...
