Reyi Homestay in West Siang

They even dont deserve single star.Basic hygiene and room cleaness not maintain. Room and washroom were full of spiders and dust. Western toilet shower jet not working. We observed single staff doing all work like (washroom cleaning. Gardening, room cleaning, and food preparation.)There was no basic food quality, but food price was sp high. Like eg. 4 small pieces of bread butter 1 cup tea we paid 150rs. We can understand that the place is quite remote so price was kept high, but when we got bread it was cold. Last but not least, we feel homestay owner only interested for high profile official guest or high profile person.. overall we had a very pathetic experience.. horrible night with spiders.

I was recommended this place and it did not disappoint. The owner, Mr Liduk, was an exceptional and extremely attentive host even though I was not one of his big ticket customers. It is located north of Aalo and away from town noise and pollution. The included pictures are of a hike to the river below the property. Thank you Mr. Liduk.

The owner Mr Liduk Ete of the property is a very nice gentleman. The property is such a lovely one which will make visitors to think for a second stay there. We stayed there for two nights in both ways from Aloo to Mechuka. I guess this is one of the top quality property you will find in Aloo (Along), Arunachal Pradesh.So guys if you are planning for on-seasons staying arrangement, make sure to book it very early as you won’t find any rooms in the last moment.

One of the best homestay. The location is out of this world and area of the property is huge. Rooms are excellent and the owner is fantastic.

Poor quality rooms. Some were not even worthy of rooms. No Ventilation. Extremely unhygienic linen and rooms. Very poor food quality.

Beautiful place to stay

The place is beautiful, the view from the rooms are breath taking. The owner and his family were very welcoming and hospitable. Serene environment. The place is full of various plants. We reached there the sun was set and left early in the morning but if you want a better experience go there soon and enjoy the place. The only problem is its a little far away from the main town aalo and the road to this place is quite dark.

We felt cheated. Small room with improper beds, dysfunctional geyser, dirty towels, no key for the door lock, at twice the tariff of comparable homestays. The food, that had no choices, was made by an incompetent cook. Its not a homestay at all. There was no welcome, no involvement from the hosts. Its licence must be withdrawn immediately.

Absolutely awesome stay right from the location, service, food to amazing conversations.Liduk, the owner of the place and his happy to help team leave no stone unturned to ensure your stay remains memorable.Also, dont forget to try the local rice beer that they brew inhouse !Book well in advance, as they are a very sought out property in Aalo :)

Wonderful experience staying with Mr. Liduk Ete and his family. The rooms are awesome and the entire property is well developed amidst nature. Highly recommended when in Aalo.

Nothing better than this homestay if you have to experience local food and culture. Food is slightly expensive though.

Stayed for a night but would love to stay for at least few days there. Very well maintenance, clean rooms and washroom, home cooked delicious food was served. Owners are very polite and welcome. Would love to visit sometime soon. Will rate 10/10.

In aalo I would say this is the best place to stay in. The view from the homestay is mesmerizing and they are very friendly with visitors. A good enjoy!

It was an amazing stay in the reyi resort and the owners company was superb and very frankly manner. The view of the balcony was also superb and the gardening of various beautiful flowers which i havent seen before had got an chance to see and the organic poka was superb. 😊

What an amazing home stay. The best in Arunachal I would say. The place, hosts Mrs &Mr Liduk, the warmth, the ambience,the food,the surroundings. I could go on and on!!!We stayed in Reyi’s homestay for 3 nights and it will stay in our memories for ever. Mrs and Mr Liduk make you feel welcome the moment you are there.I would definitely stay there whenever I go back to Arunachal Pradesh

Stayed here one night in March 2021, wish to stay longer in the future. The property has extensive grounds of several acres, beautifully landscaped. The driveway to the house is very impressive. A lot of effort has been taken by the owners in developing the property to the present state. This is illustrated by a collage of photos on the garage.The hosts are extremely friendly people and their youngest daughter, so cute, showed us their two dogs. The grounds have rainwater harvesting, a couple of large ponds and lots of orange trees and litchi trees. The oranges were ripe when we visited and they were so sweet. The bedroom was very comfortable with a bamboo themed bed and overlooking the valley below. Dinner was around the fireplace and we enjoyed trading stories with the hosts. It was a delicious rice, dal, vegetables and chicken dinner. The staff were very helpful and courteous. We left next day early morning and tea was served before we left.

The place is exceptionally well. The property is huge. The hosts are very polite and humble. The view from drawing room is awesome. The owners are reputed family of Aalo. They are very helping in nature and Mr Liduk and His wife are jolly people. The room rent and food is reasonable. If you are going to Aalo, you must stay at Reyi Homestay only.

Its home away from home, Reyi Homestay very much comfortable stay the people and they hospilatey is excellent love regards Neil.

Our experience at Reyi Homestay was exceptionally outstanding. The property is huge and more of a posh bungalow. The rooms were beautifully decorated and really spacious. The rooms, washrooms and the whole property is really neat & clean and well maintained. The drawing room is well decorated with local traditional items and various plants. The owner – Mrs Lingam Ete is an avid nature lover herself. Around the bungalow, there is an orange garden and a farm which is self-maintained by the owner Mr Liduk EteThe rooms though laid out oddly a bit within the property, however, it’s fine considering they planned to host guests later on. So one of the rooms, which I’d say the best room is within the main premises and shares the same entrance with that of the host. However, two of the remaining rooms are to be reached by going downstairs to the complete backside of the bungalow. Well, one can easily say that those two rooms were added later on to host guests.The owner – Mr and Mrs Ete are one of the richest family in Aalo (Along). They own a local news channel and also the cable connection i.e. STB in Aalo (Along). Although they are really busy into lots of calls and the business, but that doesn’t refrain them from engaging with the guest or doing one on one interaction. For other tasks though, they have few housemaids, who take care of the daily chores like cleaning, cooking, and looking after the guests such as serving food to the guests etc.The couple is very helpful and co-operating. During our stay, local students union declared a strike – a complete “Chakka Jam” from 5 AM – 5 PM. With influences of Mr and Mrs Ete, they helped us crossed the town early morning. We left at around 3 AM and Mrs Ete even insisted and prepared us Tea before leaving. With all being an exceptionally great experience, there was only one thing that turned us off – Food. Well, I have no complaints with the quality as such, however, it lacks taste. The food was not tasty at all and felt very pale in nature. And let me also remind you that, fooding is not included in accommodation package and is charged separately at Rs. 450/- per head per day for Dinner and Rs. 200/- per head per day for Breakfast.

Beautiful place to stay. Its a huge property and thus one can enjoy walking and taking a stroll while staying. Decorated with lovely flowers and plants of variety. Staff is good. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Bathroom with hot water and equiped with all other necessity. Food was not to my liking but then this is highly subjective. Rooms are usually advance booked as this is one of the best property in Aloo.

I Hate this place. The Owner is very arrogant. The property us very well maintained and with nice views. The staff are good and courteous. No staff is available on call after 8 pm. The guests are not permitted to bring food from outside. We stayed for 2 nights. First evening we ordered food whuch was meagre, very expensive and food taste was not that good. There are lots of Cats i the guest area and dining area. We witnessed the cats eating the served food on the table. So we decided to get food from outside next evening. The property owner was very much angry and he closed the resort entrance before we arrived. We had to experience his harsh words and warned us as if we are his servants and we are staying free. He denied us drinking water in the night, and it was a horrible night.Some how we escaped that Jail early morning.The guests are not supposed to wear Shoes inside the resort. Its terrible to walk with bare foot inside in the cold weather.Never ever stay in this worst resort, my humble advice.

Price of the foods are little high but overall it is good

A crazy big property and a beautyful house. Sadly our room was a bit dump. The food is good but a bit overpriced. The owner helps you but I cant say that I had a warm family feeling. We stayed two nights and had a beautiful walk in the villages which are just near by.

This is a very cosy place to halt at Along. Mr and Mrs Lituk were such lovely hosts. The moment you enter into their compound you feel at home. The rooms are very cosy and equipped with clean washrooms. Mrs Lituk has decked up the house with her beautiful garden. It is a wonderful place to relax and take a break from the busy world.They serve authentic food and you can also taste local rice beer Apong.They also have an orange orchard were you can go for a stroll in the evening.At night you can sit inside the traditional Arunachali kitchen, by the fire and have interesting conversation with the guests and hosts.Had a wonderful stay.

Beautiful, quaint, quiet & peaceful. Away from the hustle bustle. Its a property you will fall in love with.
