Simply the best❤️ Staff are extremely talented at what they do, and the service is unmatched. Having grown up in Durango I can tell you its the best restaurant in town! Everything on the menu is exceptional, couple of my favs are the limetwist, tiraditos, lemongrass beef verm, and saigon noodles. Lots of love for this special place

Great sushi but a bit pricey.

This place is DELISH. got the veggie ginger pho, summer veg rolls, veg sushi, funky monkey and volcano rolls. All top notch. Would go back to this place 100x

Simply amazing. I wish I had, as I normally do, taken pics and remembered all we ordered. We were in a group and having fun and it was slightly busy, and I just didn’t get around to it. Every appetizer, sushi roll, sashimi and entree that made it to the table was seemingly more delicious than the next. Super cool people and great service. Don’t miss the opportunity to spoil your taste buds if you are in town.

Best meal we have had in Durango! Everything we ate was excellent. Our table had sushi, pork summer rolls, chicken teriyaki, and tempura cheesecake. Everything was made well and flavorful!

I wouldn’t recommend Pho here if you know what theyre supposed to taste like. Their appetizers were good tho.

Wow! Im literally blown away by this pho. I lived in Chicago and we left last year to travel around the country until we set roots in South Fork Co. The one thing I have missed is pho. Ive tried plenty of pho in my travels and they are usually just okay or a let down. We traveled two hours to go do some shopping in Durango and was excited to see this restaurant. I didnt expect much, but at least enough to fix a craving so I tried it. This has to be one of the best phos Ive had in my life. I am convinced that this broth is cooked in its traditional way. The broth is flavorful and a little cloudy showing that its been cooked in meats and bones. It doesnt have that fake sweet taste that most pho places have. Its just flavorful and delicious. I liked that they put all the toppins in for me. We also ordered sushi and summer rolls and they were all delicious. I was just blown away by the pho. I ordered one to take home and now Im kicking myself because I should have ordered more and put in the freezer. Next time I go I will order the whole pot since I have to drive two hours. I now have a place to go when the craving kicks. If you guys would consider opening a restaurant in Pagosa that would be helpful! Btw the restaurant is small it has a few tables inside but theres more sitting outside. The service was phenomenal and the waiters are even cute 🥺 lol. Give this place a try.

We ordered carry out… fresh spring rolls, beef pho, chicken teriyaki. The springs rolls are enormous and fresh, very good. The pho was also great, beef was tender and the basil, sprouts etc were fresh and crunchy. The chicken teriyaki was also pretty solid. I was happy with the meal.

THE BEST sushi in the southwest. Fresh. Fast. Thoughtful menu. Some faves were the Bang bang shrimp, volcano roll and hamachi plate. The tuna sashimi melts in your mouth. Beyond beautiful presentation. Family owned and run like a machine! Delicious. I go every-time I’m in Durango. Wish I had photos to share. I can’t say enough good things about this mountain town sushi spot. One of my favorites.

I was shocked to find such great sushi in a small town in Colorado. The ambiance, the great service, the professional employees and the tasty food reminded me of eating at a top-notch sushi restaurant in San Francisco. This restaurant is an absolute gem in Durango.

We live in NYC and have our fair share of authentic Vietnamese and Japanese food. We stopped by Rice Monkey and we’re blown away by the hamachi, summer rolls and Saigon noodles. I can’t say enough about the hamachi!!! Our toddler only wants to eat Asian food so we’ve tried a few other Durango restaurants and RM is by far the best. Sorry, Pop Sushi, this place beats your quality by far. Thanks for a great experience!

Amazing amazing AMAZING is what I have to say about the sushi. We have gone there the couple of times weve visited Durango and we will definitely go back again. Do not hesitate to try this place...just do it.

Great clean good! Although it was take out it took over 1 hr to get ans they didnt allow us to sit outside on their tables to wait. Kind of weird considering we spent a good amount of money for our food. Staff was kind & helpful.

The service was wonderful and so was the food! We ordered 4 sushi rolls, beef pho and pork summer rolls and all of it was delicious! The staff where attentive and friendly! Would definitely recommend!!!

Came here on the 4th of July, and they were super busy. Its a very small restaurant, so its limited anyway. We ordered take out and only had to wait about 25 minutes. Good was very good, very fresh. Good flavors, a welcome and unique meal!

Delicious food, fresh fish, yummie bowls, fun conversation. It is small but a real gem in the beautiful downtown area of Durango, Co!

The ginger seaweed salad was good, but nothing special. The chicken pho had no ginger, plain chicken, a flavorless broth and rice noodles. It was incredibly plain. The beef pho was slightly less bland than the"ginger" chicken, but still pretty terrible.

Great spot for sushi and pho. Broth is a bit sweet but very tasty.

Excellent service and food. The rice had perfect texture. Definitely try the chicken teriyaki bowl, great flavor and huge portion.

This was a top notch food. The looks are deceiving. It is a galley layout. Take my advice and brave the first impression. We tried 2 entrees snd 5 apetizers. They were fresh, well designed and executed. Wow!

I was skeptical about patronizing this establishment due to the name. However the food is amazing and the young gentleman who work/own this establishment are working hard on delivering quality food it is worth the price & the container fee which I had a fit about but it is worth it good food.

Was very neat and great atmosphere. Every workers took care of us efficiently. The man making the sushi rolls took our order and had it out very quickly. Everyone was very respectful, polite, and was there to serve. They also gave me cheaters for my chopsticks. 😁The food was awesome and very well presented.

I say this confidently, this is most definitely the best sushi i have ever had in my life. My sushi order, the Lava roll, was deep fried but had an amazing light crisp to it. I enjoyed every single piece on that plate. My mom ordered the Saigon Noodle bowl, and it was also delightful. I am so happy we got to this place as it opened, because it is a small space with not a lot of seating. If you plan to go here, get there as it opens or a couple minutes after! These guys do know what they are doing with this place though, keep it up!

Two friends and I ordered lunch here and it was phenomenal and easy to get a to go meal while on the or lunch break.

I am thankful every day that I work next to this place! They are always fast and delicious.

This place is outrageously good. I lived in LA and my standard for shush is high. This place is the best sushi I’ve ever eaten. It’s just that good. It is a must if you’re in Durango!!

A unique space for this Durango treasure. Kind of tightly packed but they make it work smoothly. Highest quality sushi and Mo was right on our every need! We will be back.

Best sushi I’ve had outside of Japan! Very clean fish with a delicious buttery texture. Simply amazing!

Restaurant is super cramped. Only about 10 feet wide. Tried the sesame beef rice bowl, pork summer rolls, yellowtail nigiri sushi and a Tekka Maki roll. Only the sushi and roml were good. The rice bowl had wierd flavors but worse was the overcooked soggy rice. As soon as you put it into your mouth it turned to mush without texture. The summer roll had rotten lettuce in it and the reat was bitter. They were terrible. Would not return.

Mo is awesome. Visit this restaurant. Eat the food. You WONT be disappointed.Super respectful and helpful with allergies as well. No is highly educated on the food ingredients and how the food is cooked.

Delicious rice bowl and the best tempura shrimp I’ve ever had.

Based on what I read online Im assuming many of these folks either have never had authentic Asian fusion/Sushi or they live under rocks and just came out for a bite and it was "ultra" satisfying. Either way it was food set on Asian inspired plates.Our summer rolls were pretty basic the peanut sauce was great. One thing I will say is that the Pho (Ginger chickenwas yummy. Broth was flavorful and I was happy that I ordered it although Im still wondering where the ginger came in as that flavor just wasnt there. No biggie it was delicious.The Caterpillar roll was odd. It had its basics inside but it included fried asparagus. Anyone who has had asparagus knows that the butts are hard and fibrous. That was the brunt of the roll filling. No bueno. And the sauce, kind of a soupy mess.Our server had two tables and a roadside bar that would seat ten at best. She was dry and had no recommendations or smiles to crack... until I asked for our bill thats when we noticed that she actually had teeth. Pretty girl underneath it all.Basically, the cute name and great reviews brought us in. Glad that we checked it out going for Mexican next time.

Food here was really good. 5 stars for the Sushi and Shashimi, 4 stars for the Pho. Pho just didn’t have enough flavor for me. Also, difficult trying to use plastic tubs to mix and eat from. Perhaps better on a non-COVID restrictive evening.

Rice Monkey is a fantastic place to order from. They are quite busy at lunch with orders but its worth the wait!All sushi roll orders are enough for a good meal, but double it and explore some new sushi bites.Hands down one of the best sushi spots in town. Fast and convenient everytime. Make sure you check their schedule hours.Recommend the Philly and Shrimp Tempura rolls and of course the California roll!

The service is always great here! The food is amazing and the prices are very reasonable. Portions are also good size and the location is convenient. It is a tight fit inside but worth it!

First time eating here. I ordered the Beef Pho, Chicken teriyaki rice bowl, tempura fried cheesecake. Everything was delicious! It was something different and fresh! Space is limited but the food is worth the wait, better yet you can order ahead. 👍🏼 🍲

The service here was really friendly and even though the seating arrangement is in a small space they utilize every inch. Lunch hour here was such a good choice. The sushi, pho and even their appetizers were amazing.

Great options. Pho, sushi, bowls. We tried several items and wish I could take this place home with me. The Chinese BBQ pork bowl was particularly good. The owner even told me what to ask for in a Vietnamese restaurant at home so I could find it again before returning next vacation. YUM!

The place is kinda small but cozy and comfortable. I ordered a chirashi bowl and the fish was very fresh and tasty. Definitely would come back again

I really like this place and still have not found anywhere in Durango with better prices on sushi roles. The service is excellent and the location is nice. I have been here twice now and both experiences have been great. I plan to return in the future and I recommend trying it out. It’s a casual setting so not really fancy; but I like the environment and it’s clean.

The yellowfin tuna on top of their "Red Phoenix" roll was the best quality tuna Ive ever had! They put Japanese seven spice on the Spicy Tuna roll and it definitely kicks it up a notch!
