Tried to charge me 655$ to change an alternator (one of the easiest mechanical fixes on a carNicest receptionist in the world, however the mechanics had printed a copy of my diagnostic at 3pm and waited until i asked what was happening with my car at 4:45pm (15mins before closingto give me the paper. I believe this was to pressure me into making a rash decision to go with their extremely over priced mechanics and when I said no thank you they got sassy with me and said they have enough work anyways. Well if they have so much work why would they charge a young lady 655$ to change an alternator. I think they thought I was just some dumb girl that didnt know anything about cars, well shame on them. I recommend Taylor automotive down the road!

Do not use this shop at all!!! They dont make themselves responsible for the horrible job they do. Used this shop to replace the wheel seal, bearrings, and brake drum only for them to over torque everything. Driver was only able to drive 300 miles and all went bad. Cost me an extra $1,500 to get the job done right after they didnt.

Wasted time, I was broke down, waiting on a part, but they ordered wrong part, I ended up waiting 6 days. I had to call outside help to get me out of Ranger Tx. Honestly I just heard excuses. The People working there seem lost an confused which was a red flag.

My truck was in the shop for 2 weeks. Didn’t get fixed!! STILL GOT A BILL OF 4000. Nice people, the owner is a bit sassy.My fuel injectors went out. They said it was ecm but wasn’t! They didn’t want to check my injectors for some reason. They took my truck apart and lost my battery cover. Spilled oil all over the engine. Ripped apart my electric harness and engine harness but didn’t check the injectors like why?!I don’t think they know what’s what.Took it to freightliner dealer and was fixed in 2 days.

I broke down in Gordon, TX, and AAA used Freddys to tow us. They were seriously the kindest people ever. They cared about our safety and our car. THey also have a shop and were able to repair my Jeep in less than 24 hours, AND they drove it to Eastland, dropped it at the car rental place, just to make it easier on me. Truly honest and kind people.

Had a wreck a few miles away from this shop. It got stuck on some wires off the road, they were able to help us get it unstuck and tow out vehicle into their shop while it was pouring rain. It was at the shop a little more than I expected but not too long, it was done at a convenient time for me. Jamie was the tow truck driver, really nice and helpful guy. I can’t remember anyone else’s name but the customer service in general was really good.

Somebody stole my mud flap hanger in Dallas and I realized it while driving along I-20. Somebody directed me to Freddys and they built a custom bracket for me so I can get out of there. Thank you so much! These guys are great!

This is the worst shop that Ive ever seen. I dont recommend anyone use this shop.

They are very kind and helpful. My truck has major problems as I was traveling. They allowed me to get it to them. They brought it straight in and diagnosed my truck before I had someone pick me up. I have also had my car down. Financially at the moment I have been unable to make the repairs all at one time. They have allowed me to leave me truck there. They extended a hand of courtesy for no other reason other than they are in a position to where they can. They havent asked me for anything... I am thankful to Almighty God that He graced me with the privilege of meeting them.

I have used Freddys now for both their wrecker service and repair to my truck. The latest was a repair where a local shop had missed the problem twice ................and I got nothing in exchange. Jason and his team at Freddys quickly figured it out and repaired it for half what I thought it was going to cost. I highly recommend these folks and will never go anywhere else. If you live in the Gordon Texas area go to Freddys in Eastland Texas . Youll save money and get the work done properly the first time.

Broke down on I-20 while towing a fifth wheel. Jamie came out and took care of us very quickly. He obviously cared about doing everything the right way and didn’t try to cut any corners. He was very friendly and worked quickly and efficiently. I would absolutely be thrilled to be towed by Jamie again if we broke down!

This is a great shop took care of the issues I had and didnt try to rob me.

TJ and the rest of the guys here are awsome.Had at one time 4 mechanics lookin at my tractor and thier computer.I think even the owner was involved.Went in with like 4 different check engine lites on and a derate warning beeping.TJ showed up at the loves I was broke down at.Solved a couple problems right there,got me runnin and over to thier shop.About a hour later,I was back on interstate..

Blew a radiator hose on my semi in cisco loaded with cattle. Dude they sent was cool and helped me get going. Only downside was it took em over an hour to get ther . Not a big deal tho as it wasnt really hot ou .

Got in an accident in Cisco Texas and Don the tow truck driver got me and my friend to Austin safe and sound. Was very nice and courteous and would recommend Don, from Freddies any day. Knew all about leaving our car at the collision place and made sure we got picked up and left ok. Asked us if we needed to stop for a rest stop or food or drinks. So glad we got him to rescue us! Thanks again Freddies and Don.

Driver had fuel tanks cleaned way over charged then the mechanics didnt flush the lines or put in new filter how incompetent can you get. Fast Freddys pulling a fast one

My 24 year old daughter got a flat tire on the highway in the middle of nowhere between Abilene and Ft. Worth. I googled roadside services and found Freddys near the place she was stranded. When I called, Misty answered and was extremely concerned and helpful and dispatched help immediately. In the meantime my daughter called me to tell me a good samaritan had stopped to help. Even though I canceled with Freddys the original driver that was dispatched went on and checked on her to make sure she was ok. They even helped us contact someone to provide a lug nut key which my daughter did not have but needed in order to remove the damaged tire. No payment requested or required. Their true concern for my daughters safety was such a blessing. Above and beyond good service. Thank you!!!

While traveling on the I-20 today with our 37 ft 5th wheel RV in tow, we heard a loud bang come from our engine area, & tons of black smoke began billowing out the back. We made it to the Eastland County Rest Area where Kayla (employeewas very helpful...she hands-down recommended Freddy’s Wreckers, stating that they were close by, honest, helpful & reasonable.We phoned our Auto Ins. Co & explained what had happened, we requested Freddy’s...they said that Freddy’s wouldn’t be covered. We also called the nearest Car Dealership that could hopefully help us, they actually recommended calling Freddy’s, stating that the problem might be as simple as a blown hose, & that Freddys would probably be able to help us with that more quickly than the dealership!We ended up calling Freddy’s & they were amazing. Jason showed up in NO time, he was friendly & knowledgeable. In the few minutes that it had taken to tow us to Freddy’s, their office personnel had gained approval for our insurance to pay for the towing charge.Freddy’s welcomed us to stay in our RV in their parking lot!Every employee and the owners were amazingly kind & accommodating.My husband even got a tour of the facilities!The hospitality was unheard of. My daughter had a "low oil" indicator light while driving home from Dallas to Lubbock for Fathers Day (2017). Ranger was the nearest town, so I called Freddys and explained the situation, and they worked her in and topped her engine off with oil, and had her on her way within 30 minutes!! Wonderful service, and very nice people, who were concerned about my daughter and making sure she made it home safely. Very comforting for an anxious mom!! I highly recommend Freddys!!!

Out of state and my son goes to school at the college there in Ranger, we had his jeep brought there by the wrecker service and after a week of just sitting and all they had to do is hook it up to see what the problem is told us it was the power control module and it would cost $500.00 we ok the work, a week later he called and said that it would cost 637.00 so because my son was at school with no car for over 2 weeks now i ok that, 1 1/2 weeks later he calls and said the jeep was finally done and now it would cost 870.00 cause he had to change some "wiring", we told him that was not what he quoted us and he said ok well then just pay 637.00, my son came and picked the jeep up and on the way home broke down and when he called he was told "oh the alternator is out,(this is the short storythese people take advantage of people out of state cause there the only one close to the highway, I will pay the extra money to take it to another town,there rude and overpriced. NEVER GO THERE!
