Its a great store and the people are very helpful.
Tried to refill my SSRI prescription here as Im away from my normal pharmacy today. Its my third refill. The pharmacist was extremely rude, refused to fill the prescription because they believed it was the wrong dosage (same one as always), and flat out said they would not call my doctor. Im out as of tonight, so Im missing a dose, and Im going to have to go very early in the morning tomorrow to my normal Rite Aid to get this filled.Unprofessional, rude, inconvenient, and incompetent. I have never had a pharmacist refuse to fill a SSRI like its an opiate or something, and absolutely NEVER under the reasoning that they know better than my doctor. Then to just basically shrug their shoulders at me and tell me tough cookies, Im not going to do my diligence as a pharmacist? Wow, just wow.Rite Aid, please hire better employees. Im going to be making this same report to the store manager and corporate, but thank goodness I dont live near this store so I wont ever have to deal with these absolute numbskulls ever again!
Employees were very unwelcoming. Next time Ill drive the extra 5 minutes and go to Walmart
Very friendly, helpful and seem to be interested in you as a customer.
Getting anybody on the phone is impossible. It just sends you in a constant loop of the same automated message. The pharmacy tech I spoke with at the store was very helpful in figuring out how to deal with issues getting my perscription, however.EDIT: the phone is still hard to get anyone on. However, the staff there are quite pleasant. Jeff helped me oit tremendously when my doctor messed up in getting my medication, he went above and beyond.
Been calling pharmacy and store 3 times .Nobody answers phone.
RIte PHARMACY von west reading SUCKS!!!!!!
The total bill was < $15 because of the additional savings I automatically receive for being a gold level wellness rewards member - awesome!
Ive been getting my prescriptions refilled at this location for a few years now, and very consistently, Im treated rudely every time, by the young women who works behind the pharmacy counter. Shes rude on the phone, and rude in person for no apparent reason... You leave there in a bad mood! For the life of me, I dont understand why the store manager doesnt do anything about her behavior... I would NOT recommend this pharmacy!
Very poor managed store.
the pharmacy isn’t answering the phone how awsome
Typical pharmacy. Only care about getting your prescriptions filled as soon as possible so they can bill your insurance company. It doesnt matter if you need them or not. Even the ones that are taken only as needed. As usual, its all about the money.
Always out of Medication’s , so you have to wait for your medication or go somewhere else to get it. There so cheap they don’t even have bacterial wipes so you can clean your hands. Then they look at you like your crazy for wanting to clean your hands.
Easy to find products and get help.
I love coming to this pharmacy and I have been, for almost 7 years. Staff is very friendly, and Ive called with needs for my moms prescriptions to be filled here as an emergency (her pharmacy is Rite Aid, Penn st.to do a one time service and they do it. Its my go to pharmacy. I live only a couple of blocks away.
Great place to find quality over the counter medications at bargain prices. Helpful pharmacists.
I love this place, as I work 2 stores down Im a frequent flyer they always have awesome finds on all kinds of things. The only reason Im giving a 3 start rating is that Im a smoker, Ive been buying cigarettes here for over 5 years, almost everyday. As recent as a few months ago they started asking me for my ID.... Seriously? I know you dont absolutely need my ID to buy smokes. Im not getting any younger, my age has not magically changed. Im also willing to bet you dont get carded as an employee when you buy them .....
Very friendly employees very helpful
Wow! I see all these horrible reviews & I’ve been going to this pharmacy for a couple years because I live a mile away. I was always surprised how quickly they would have my prescription ready after dropping it off compared to CVS, normally CVS says over 2 hr & this rite aid says “do you wanna wait ten minutes for it”. Never have had anyone be rude or anything related to that matter. So don’t believe everything you hear!
If I could give this pharmacy zero stars I would. They need to get it together in their pharmacy department. I would never recommend this location. They need to take notes from the 6th Street location!
the Indian lady pharmacist she is as mean as meg. Meg is always grumpy and thinks she owns the rite aid. Shes not a manager nor is she a pharmacist. she really needs to grow up and act like a professional. the Indian lady pharmacist is not competent in her job which is really sad, because that rite aid has gone through countless personnel and still no management. if I could give zero stars I certainly would. best luck to whomever goes there.
Usually a wait at the pharmacy
I was there yesterday morning a few minutes before the pharmacy open to fill some prescriptions for my mother. When the pharmacist opened the gate the first thing I said to her was good morning ! She seemed very annoyed that I said good morning, I guess because I was there before they had opened the pharmacy gates. This is the first time I’ve been asked for a license or ID to fill a prescription . She made me wait for an hour for the prescriptions despite of the fact that I was the only person there. This will be the first and last time I will go there and I will tell everyone I know not to ever go there as well. Your pharmacist work ethics suck! The cashier by the entrance seemed like she was having a bad day too . On a positive note, the only person that seemed pleasant there was the pharmacy’s cashier named Donna . She was the only person with a smile and who treated me nicely .
I did 2 tours in Iraq and the pharmacist refused to fill my ambien prescription for no reason. When I asked her why, she stipulated that she doesnt have to give me a reason. So basically I was discriminated as being a fing junkie because pharmacists have ZERO perception and discretion and instead of wearing normal street clothes and having a beard I need to be clean shaven and in a 3-piece suit. I shouldnt have to repeat my medical information and tell a sob story every time I need a prescription filled because staff is clueless and thinks theyre House M.D.
The manage could be more accommodatting, he gave my husband a difficult time using a Manafacting coupon, maybe we should shop eslewhere, i guess gold stastus is just about how much money you spend...
Great spot to pick up a few items, cashiers could be friendlier.
