Rite Aid in Macomb County

I love this store. Everyone there is always helpful and polite. I always find what I need.

The pharmacist is the best this is not about the pharmacist or the pharmacy.This is about a store clerk named Abigail Or abygil (the lady with two mouth piercing). She rang up items wrong, was on her phone texting while doing her job, chewing gum obnoxiously, and didn’t have the decency to apologize for ringing up the products wrong or even saying thank you or have a goodnight.

Store is clean, staff is nice. This location is my preference above other options in the area!

This is not about the pharmacies, the ladies there are amazing and super sweet.I normally shop in the store but have never ran into to a problem until last week. I bought stuff on clearance & the cashier typed in the wrong price for 2 of the items….no biggie, I went in today explained the situation and the older shorter gentleman started to give me a problem, even after seeing I was charged too much. Kept telling me they register wouldn’t allow him to do it because I paid the marked down price…..even though he could clearly see I was over charged. Then Emily comes into the picture already with an attitude, I asked about the scanning law which she immediately said it didn’t qualify because it was only their store that marked these items down. The merchandise was tagged at the sale price and I payed full price. Kindness goes a long way, if they simply would’ve just done either a price adjustment or an exchange with the correct price I would’ve been just fine with that. They were all rude & made me feel like I was inconveniencing them…..instead of me that had to take time out of my day to come in for an adjustment. Honestly I didn’t even care about the scanning law but brought it up because they were just being rude about it. Not even an apology for the mistake in the first place, they just made ME feel like it was my fault they rung up wrong. Get better staff or train them on customer service.

Pharmacist has serious issues. Caught her in a LIE about my doctor calling in a script and then yesterday intentionally only gave me one of my scripts out of SPITE because it took me too long to pick them up. I caution anyone dealing with this pharmacy and I personally will NEVER deal with them again!!

The reviews are not lying. This is the worst rite aid out of all the ones nearby. Staff is rude 90% of the time and acts irritated by the fact that youre in the store to begin with. Always nonchalant when you need help, if they even try to, theyll probably just tell you they dont have what you need and let you figure it out on your own unless its something like milk. Its like they think the worse they are to deal with the less people will return.

Worst rite aid Ive been to. The person who answered the phone at the pharmacy was mumbling so much I couldnt understand a word. They can never properly fill a prescription or ever have the common sense to check everything when you drop it off. A cashier once followed me around watching me. It was so strange. I will not be spending any more money at this place and would highly advise anyone to travel an extra mile to a different drug store on any other corner. Theres a CVS one mile south.

Toilets never cleaned

The pharmacy is like highway robbery. They will try to charge you $200 to $300 for a prescription that you can get free at Meijer.
