Ron D. Mixon, OD in Atascosa County

Dr. Ron Mixon and Clarissa are the best! I have glaucoma and I could not get in see my ophthalmologist and after countless calls to several other doctors in SA and Pleasanton with front desk clerks not being helpful, I was at my wits end. Worried that my eye pressure was too high and that was causing my headaches and blurred vision, I wanted someone to check my pressure and give me peace of mind and I could not find an Optometrist or Ophthalmologist to see me or accept my insurance. I walked in to Dr. Mixons office and was greeted by Clarissa and she showed compassion and was willing to help. I offered to pay cash if they did not accept my insurance ( which I had offered to ALL the other offices I had called and they told me IF you have insurance we have to go thru your insurance even if I was willing to pay. I dont understand but I am happy I walked in to Dr. Mixons office. They were on point with customer service and THEY saw a patient in distress and did what they could to put me at ease... HAPPY TO SAY they took care of me and I am feeling better.
