My experience with Ruff Roofers was top quality service from the employees to the new roof on my home.

Pretty poor experience overall. Workers fell through the ceiling in two different places. Took weeks for the full repairs to be made, and still poorly matched. The "sales manager" never followed up. He took his commission and off to the next job.

I recommend Ruff Roofers without any hesitation. They came on time, worked for a couple of days just as they thought the project would take. Told me to let them know how it was since we were due another stormWe had a bad rainstorm and there was still a small leak. I emailed them late that night and had a response when I woke up. They came the next day and found the remaining leak area. No questions, no delays. They are more expensive than other roofers . That said, if we had gone with any of the less costly roofers, they would have charged for the additional work because it wasn’t on the list of work items. Ruff saw it as part of their scope of work. Other roofers might not have come back for weeks if they had other work.Both my husband and I are glad we contracted with Ruff.And the best- no mess, all cleaned when they left.

Ruff Roofers are most professional, organized, accountable, competitively priced and capable of the 4 roofing companies we considered for our 2 story colonial home to replace our 31 yr old roof.We wanted a GAF Timberline HD product with the Silver Warranty installed by a firm GAF Certified at the right level to provide that warranty. WE liked the transferability of the warranty and the level of it ensures up to 130 mph wind warranty and stain guard. We live on a hill with a tree line behind us so both are a benefit to us.Derek Black, Ruff Roofer sales contact, told us to repoint our chimney to prepare and he advised that our skylights may only be 17 yrs old, but if they failed, the roof would need to be repaired, so why not do it all together? He considered the best final solution is a full package. I learned the term building envelope. That envelope has a lot of component parts, which must be updated/fixed at one time to provide the best coverage for the investment.Derek pointed out some other planning points including the protection of our established shrubbery, assured us the project would be managed throughout and what his team did to ensure a safe yard minus stray nails/debris after the roof installation was complete. As a gardener, that level of attention was important to me.Richard Price, the project manager gave me a detailed explanation of the replacement process, delivery of the product to our home, adjusted schedule due to weather, explained how the roofing material would be raised to our roof that in effect is 3 stories off the ground because it is built into a hill. He also promised since we are on a panhandle driveway with a 90 degree turn that a smaller truck with a fork lift would deliver the product.Scott Spicer, the onsite installation manager, discussed how the project would take place, how the shrubbery would be covered, took photos to show me through the process, and took me on a tour after the installation. He discussed what the safety procedures were and it included what I could do if I called him to exit the house. I observed the female teammate working constantly picking up debris, using the magnet to capture nails, handing things to the workers on the roof. She was in constant motion. Her diligence was clear when Scott gave me the post work tour. The transformation was complete with the roof, but if you werent here, there was NO evidence of any work done. Not a scrap, NO shrubbery damage and the property was immaculate.Separately, the gutters were installed. They are far wider than our prior gutters and carry a lot more water away. That team was also on time, communicated the steps of the project and when done, cleaned up every scrap.I highly recommend Ruff Roofers! They take care of your home like they lived there.

We had gutters installed from a different company and they were not working right. We had Ruff Roofers come out and they looked at the system and gave us their honest evaluation which we could use to go back and get the other company to admit they did it wrong. I would highly recommend Ruff Roofers to my friends and family. I used them to replace a 20 year old roof. The foreman and crew were very professional and courteous to us.

They came out to take measurements. It was quick and easy, I didnt have to do anything. Couple days after measuring the crew came out and installed the gutters. Everyone was very professional and nice. I got the new gutters because mine were leaking at the seams and I didnt like the slant along the front porch. They took notes during the measurements and when they installed the gutters it was a noticeable improvement. I would definitely recommend Ruff Roofers.

We love the design and construction of our total home renovation of a 1979 ranch done 10 years ago, except for the roof. Despite its being only 10 years old, the roof leaked and gutters overflowed from improper installation. Excellent experience with Ruff Roofers for a roof replacement, I would highly recommend them. We asked them to come inspect our roof (we were anticipating a replacement soon), and then followed up with a full replacement. They provided fair estimates, with a few different options for what we needed (depending on our budget). Throughout the whole process they were very responsive for scheduling and drop-off of materials.The duration of the work was exactly as they estimated, done in less than one day, and everything was tidied up very nicely when they left. Great work from a very professional and experienced staff.

We had a really bad hail storm that tore our roof to shreds. Ive never filed an insurance claim like this before, and Ruff Roofers helped guide us through from start to finish. They worked hard on our behalf to get us the very best price, and their communication was outstanding throughout the entire process. Ryan Nagle, Senior Estimator, helped us navigate the claims process and made excellent recommendations about the ideal roof for our house. He was professional, friendly, and eminently helpful the entire time. Shelia was wonderful with scheduling & communication, and she worked really hard to help me organize the work around my familys virtual work & school schedules. Our project manager Scott was considerate, thorough, and kind during the entire job. When some roof goop (my words, not hisgot on the driveway, he cleaned it as best he could on the spot and offered to return on his own time if the rain didnt wash it away. These guys were amazing! My husband and I were so impressed by how well-organized, professional, and considerate they were. Several friends of mine have had really terrible experiences with other roofers, so I was a bit worried about the stress of doing this the week of Christmas, but Scott, our Project Manager was really easy to work with and made the whole experience completely painless. He also noticed we had dogs and created a special path for them to take them in and out of the house without encountering debris from our old roof that was being removed. On top of all of this, the roof looks great and the were done much faster than we were expecting. Overall, we are incredibly happy with the service we received and feel that it represents really good value for money. I would highly recommend these guys! Big shoutout to Nick as well, who worked with us on the estimate, follow-up, and ASAP scheduling!

Ruff Roofers is extremely professional! Safety is key to their success and vital to the client. They communicate each step of the project and in a timely fashion. Changes are no surprise to the client, they anticipate potential issues before they happen, which is key to being within budget.

A pleasure to work with from start to finish. Very responsive and was able to fit me in early, due to a cancellation. The workers were very respectful of my time and left the property in better shape than they found it. They also found a few additional (minorissues and corrected them for free while fixing the pipe collar. A+ will definitely use again.

We experienced a house fire and from the time that Emmett arrived to provide us an estimate to the time that Scott and Papa completed the job, it was top notch.The communication was fantastic...I knew right where we were in the process and continually got updates from Emmett on his efforts with our Insurance company. Ryan at Ruff Roofers responded quickly and professionally to my roof problem. The repair team led by Scott arrived quickly and discovered and repaired the problem in excellent fashion. Their prompt response and taking care of the roof repair in a professional manner was a welcome relief especially knowing how busy they were due to the storm.

Ruff Roofers responded to my emergency call regarding a leak in my dining room on the same day as my call. Estimator Nick wrote up an estimate and had it to me the next day. After I signed the contract and several days later, I called for help again because of an inside partial ceiling collapse. That afternoon, a Ruff Roofers employee was placing a tarp on my flat roof that stopped all the leaks. A crew of five replaced my flat roof in one day. Quality workmanship and professionalism was showed throughout this experience.

We had a consistent leaking problem from our roof. I spent several thousand dollars with various companies trying to fix the problem. When I call Ruff, they agreed to come out. I was thinking of replacing the entire roof. After an inspection by Ruff, they told me the problem was not the roof, but rather I needed to have the top of the walls covered with copper because the masonry was porus and the leaks were coming through the walls. I agreed to have the work done, very reasonably priced and much less that replacing the entire roof (which would not have solved the problem), and the leaks stopped. The inside of my house is now dry and I am able to repair the damage inside without the fear of it being ruined again. Ruff followed up several times to make sure I was staying dry and were generally concerned that the problem was solved. I am so grateful for the way the analysed the problem, solved the issue, and followed up to make sure it was actually solved. Absolutely wonderful. I recommend them without reservation.al holsopple

We are really pleased with the work Ruff Roofers did on our roof and gutters. We had a leak in our attic and Michael Brewer was really professional and honest about the condition of our roof and his recommendation to fully replace it. We got a few other quotes from other companies but Ruff was the most cost effective and responsive. Even when I was having a tough time deciding on the shingle color Michael offered his advice and made us feel really comfortable and confident in our decision in such a large investment in our home. The roof was finished in a day and the gutters were sealed, we received photos of the completed work from the perspective on the roof within the next 12 hours. All around a great experience and would definitely recommend to friends who need help with any roofing or exterior home repairs!

Due to a rain delay and a tight deadline, they worked dawn til dusk and replaced a roof in one day and did a great job cleaning up.

We had Ruff Roofers install new roof in 2013. When we decided to move in 2019, we had a few concerns after inspection. Ruff Roofers came out within 2 days and fixed all issues and gave a detailed report non issues as well. Highly recommend!

From the top down their professionalism and quality of work during the 2014 Fulton Hall roof replacement was exceptional. Through no fault of theirs, the manufacturers slate discolored resulting in a claim and, after months of correspondences between the University, the manufacturer, and Ruff Roofers, a satisfactory settlement was reached. We had some shingles blow off during one of those really windy days, Ruff Roofers came right out to give us an estimate to repair the shingles and touch up anything else they could. They were able to schedule the work quickly, and got it done in a flash.Zack was helpful all along they way, and we have gotten him up on our roof so many times trying to figure out the best way to tackle some of our other issues. I highly recommend Ruff Roofers. When I could no longer ignore my worn roof I started getting quotes. I got quotes from several local big and smaller companies. Ruff Roofers stood out and made my decision clear. Mike Brewer was my estimator and he provided excellent service from start to finish. He was thorough with his estimation and very knowledgeable about the roofing process and Ruff Roofers policies and best practices. He actually got on the roof and went in the attic. A couple companies estimator’s stood on the ground, one didn’t even have binoculars. Mike answered all of my many questions, and gave me things to look for when I compared other companies to Ruff Roofers. I am very detailed oriented and Mike was always quick to get back to me to answer questions and to make sure I got the roof I wanted. He even compared other estimates to Ruff Roofers to point out the differences in either product, process, or warranty. After the install, I called to get a piece of siding that came off near the top of the roof. Ruff Roofers came and made the repair. I am one year out and I LOVE my roof and am so glad that I chose them. I highly recommend them and of course, Mike Brewer.

Had my slate roof replaced in Academy Heights couple weeks ago. Ruff Roofers DID an AMAZING JOB. The work was done timely, and site was cleaned with no debris left over. Workers were polite and explained each step during the entire process. Recommended them to all my neighbors and Ruff Roofers ended up doing most of my block. Any roofing needs I ALWAYS recommend RUFF ROOFERS !!!

Ruff Roofers started off so promising. Nick contacted me literally 10 minutes after I put in an online inquiry about my roof job, and followed through 2 days later with a visit to my home to begin an estimate. Then things went downhill. I waited several days to get the estimate, and only got it after I called the office and they put me through to Nick directly. He did send the estimate that day, but it was nearly twice the price of some other estimates. I did want to use Ruff Roofing however, and was willing to pay a little more than other companies, because they seemed so professional at the start. Nick and I compromised on the price over the phone. As we went back and forth, he explained to me that Ruff Roofing needs to charge more because they have high overhead costs, lots of trucks and drones. He then sent me the revised quote, which was not the price we discussed. I contacted him twice to ask for the revision based on what we talked about, and he ghosted me. So, no Ruff Roofing. Pretty red trucks and drones are a nice look for a company, but unfortunately they dont get the roofing done.

We just hired Ruff Roofers to do our roof, and we are very glad we did! We are really happy with the final result. They did the whole thing in one day and did it well. They also worked hard to ensure they didnt damage anything in our yard, and took the time to make sure they cleaned up carefully. We havent found a single nail or piece of anything leftover from their work. Overall we are very impressed and would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a new roof!
