Sam did an amazing job on my hair! The cut came out perfect and the salon was super clean and relaxing. Everyone was very kind and I will for sure be back!

DANGEROUS AND DIRTY!! Im literally bleeding. I came here for an eyebrow threading and the experience was absolutely terrible! I had an appointment for 1pm with Farbia and after checking in, I wasnt spoken to at all. Twenty minutes later, I asked the front desk if it would be much longer. I was told that Farbia was busy with a client still, but I could SEE her chatting with other stylists. After waiting fifteen more minutes, I was about to leave when Farbia came rushing over. We jumped between three different stations because hers was dirty. She rushed the entire appointment, barely spoke to me, and was in such a hurry that she CUT MY LIP. My lip was/is bleeding and she had the audacity to say it was because my lips are dry (they arentand that I should use balm (I do). No apology whatsoever for cutting me. She then placed a used rag on my mouth to dab away the blood and it smelled like mildew! She told me again that I need balm, then just left. The entire session took about five minutes, she didnt say goodbye, she rushed me out for her next appointment (a woman who had been sitting there almost as long as I was). The kicker? When I got in my car, I saw that my nose was also bleeding!! She nicked my lip AND my nose! Does my NOSE need balm, too? She didnt apologize for cutting me or for making me wait, and instead gaslit me into thinking it was my fault. Absolutely garbage service.

I came to this salon due to the great reviews and I was really looking forward to a great hair turn out & experience and unfortunately got the complete opposite.I don’t really like to leave negative reviews because I understand sometimes are just a miss but this happened back to back !Went to a stylist that was new there name Jessica & asked for some highlight lifts to brown . I told her my entire hair color history which was all professional dye only and showed her a photo of the color I was trying to reach she said okay no problem . Long story short mid doing my hair she had someone else come in and started doing her hair . I was told we would need to lift and tone my hair but after that second client got there she completely rushed my hair and skipped the toning and gave me a half done drying .Once I left the salon my hair was Orange Red ! I called immediately and asked for this to be resolved & they said to come in the next day . I come in and min fixing my hair she gets another client again and starts going back and forth . I get this may be a norm in this space but again half a** my hair for the second time and also Again left me without my hair styled .I went to the front and asked for my hair to be complete . Ended up paying $260 for some half done highlights and then they changed me on top $70 to style my hair lolI paid & tipped them still cause I don’t mind paying for any service , just do your job correctly & don’t waste my time with half done work :)

I am so beyond ecstatic that I came an across Illia! I just got a blow out & I’d 10/10 recommend! My hair looks and feels incredible, she did an amazing job!Thank you girl 🤩

This review is on behalf of Molly the Stylist. I saw Molly on a last minute notice last Tuesday. Ive never been to a hair stylist before let alone a proper salon. I decided around 10 months ago to grow my hair out and it grew all out at the same length.About 4 months ago I started researching places to get my first "shaping" cut to continue growing out my hair but I was nervous about sitting down in the wrong chair and having my hair idea ruined.Insert Molly here. I came into the salon and with my limited vocabulary conveyed to Molly what was my ideal hair cut and I wanted something mature and as a young professional and showed her photos of the idea I had in my head. I told her Ive rejected so many barbers looking to use clippers to taper or fade my hair and thats not what I wanted.She told me she exclusively works with scissors only and then she told me to trust her and told me things about layering, texturizing, lightening the weight of the hair and that I actually have two different hair times on my temple and sideburns. She even showed and applied some product in my hair to bring out the natural curls in my hair. I came out with the biggest smile on my face because my hair looked phenomenal. My fiancé absolutely loved my haircut. Molly has to be the best stylist Ive come across because of the consulting session she started with and the explanation of her modern techniques. I tried to find the owner of the salon that day to let her know of Mollys amazing work but she was too busy so if the owner ends up reading this you need to hire more people and stylists just like Molly because shes a 10/10. To all the men out there looking for a phenomenal stylist, ask for Molly. Shes now the only person allowed to work on my hair you.-Ryan

WoW pricing has gone through the roof! Shocked and really disappointed$150 to color my roots and a blow dry. (Before tipWebsite is misleading on prices. I will always ask for breakdown prior to this unpleasant surpriseStylist was sweet, happy with overall skills butLeft with color on forehead cheeks , temple and anterior to ear. When asked to get it removed there was a trial with a wet towel and then I was told to use alcohol at home. For these prices I should not have to go home and scrub my face with rubbing alcohol. I should be ready to go about my day. Way too expensive for the service and quality.

I gave a low rate due to the fact that I didn’t get the service I asked for in the past. So the manager reached out to me and asked me to send pictures and give her details of what was different and how she can help. We talked and she found me one of their hair stylists who would help me. So I went today and Ester did an amazing job. She did a great haircut pluse a perfect hair color. I am so grateful that they reached out to me and helped me to have another experience at their place.

Having curly hair can make it challenging to find a good hair stylist that I trust. Hannah did an amazing job ! Found my new hair expert after 2 years of searching and many messed up hair cuts.

Cayla took my botched haircut and gave me the most beautiful long, face framing layers ever!! She is the absolute GOAT!!

Ariana is awesome! She knew exactly how to cut, shape & make great suggestions on styling & caring for my fine, curly hair. I would definitely recommend her to all my friends & family!

It was ok I loved the color when I walked out the door but after one shampoo it was pretty yellow not a cool purple undertone like when I left the salon. It was quite pricy for the color to last only one shampoo.

Viviannne is the best!! I live in NYC and try to time my haircuts with visits to Scottsdale so I can get a haircut from her. She listens, provides helpful and honest feedback (e.g. are you sure you want to chop your hair?), and is incredibly skilled at what she does.

I booked with Ariana and let me tell you if you have curly hair go see her! She knows exactly how to cut curly hair and I walked away feeling confident and myself again. 10/11 would recommend!

I had a great experience today at Rumors. I had my hair cut by Brandy. She was very personable and quick. The shampoo and haircut was great. I will be back.

I have been here 3x. 1st 2x Arianna was awesome! Less than a week ago, I saw Molly, and although she was very nice, this is how my hair is after a basic highlight. She did use a ton of foils, which I thought would be great! But the rinsing and shampooing was quite different than normal. Kept leaving and coming back. Head massage was not much of one and products were very cold. Today, the pictures show the damage. Breaking off everywhere! Should have waited til I was back home in MN! Im just sad.

Love this salon! I have seen Ariana who has done an excellent job with my hair. She is attentive and has provided me some of the best haircuts I have ever had. Highly recommend!

I went in for just a trim. My hair was down to my belly button. The haircut was so bad I had to chop it off it get it fixed. I’ve never been so sad about a haircut in my life. The layers were incredibly uneven. One side wasn’t even trimmed. There was a big hole in the middle where my layers were suppose to be. I had random chunks that were the same length as my hair before I cut it.The stylist was incredibly nice though

Today was my first visit to Rumors. I knew I was going to pay more for a good cut and style.My stylist was Lela. She didnt disappoint. I walked out feeling styled and glam, unlike when I walked in.You get what you pay for.

This is a super long overdue review, but after looking at photos from when I got my hair done, it just kept reminding me of how unsatisfied I was :/. I was super disappointed with my hair done. I booked an appointment after work and asked for a Sharon Osborn red all over with a few highlights. Because of my dark hair, it was going to take awhile. Instead of asking to maybe book another appointment day and helping me figure that out, I was quickly told, “We don’t have enough time to do that so we’re going to do a balayage.” For $270. Trust the process, right?!I’ve seen balayages and I DID NOT get a balayage. I got two red dyed hair pieces on each side of my face with a blowout. And I tipped because it felt so intimidating to be there. This is where older snowbird women go to get a few snips that costs $100 and receive some nice, yet insincere compliments. Customer service was whack and the whole hairstyle was extremely underwhelming. As a new mom, I was hoping to get something to boost my confidence, but I left feeling even worse than before.

Highly recommend Daniel! He took the time to show me how to take care of my hair, made great suggestions, and did a fantastic job. The highlights and cut came out perfect. So glad to have found him as Ive just moved to the area and was a bit worried about replacing my hair dresser. Hes also very personable and fun to talk to which doesnt hurt!

If you’re looking for beautiful balayage, a great haircut, or just the best shampoo of your life, make an appointment with DANIEL! He listens really well and explains as much or as little as you want to know about options, upkeep, and process. He’s professional and personable!

I have been going to Rumors Salon for almost 10 years. Lauren has always been my stylist. She is always consistent and professional. I always get a confidence boost walking out of the salon due to her skills at working with what little hair I still have left. No better stylist in the Valley. I highly recommend!!!

I had such an amazing experience with Daniel!! He really took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and gave great input/ advice. He’s also so funny and easy to talk to which made the appointment that much better. He really took his time and my hair came out perfect. Definitely recommend Daniel for a balayage or anything else you need done!

I went to rumors for the first time and had Vivianne.I wasn’t sure what exactly I wanted but had pictures and she walked me through the steps of how to get there. She explained what she was doing and asked questions along the way to make sure it was what I wanted. I’m so happy with how my hair turned out she did such a great job! Will definitely be back.

I have been going to Shannon at Rumors Salon for over 4 years. She always listens to my comments on how I wish to have my hair styled. The results have always been great. They have recently updated the interior of the entire salon. It is bright and relaxing. The entire staff is warm and friendly.

I have been going to Rumors for about 10 years now, as does my co worker Colleen. Colleen came to work with one of the most amazing haircuts I have seen in a long time. So much so I asked her who did her hair and she told me Angelo, he’s new. I immediately booked an appt and I have to say Angelo is absolutely amazing!!! I am beyond thrilled with my hair! Today I had a fantastic experience with Vivianne. While I came in very nervous because Ive only been seeing one stylist for almost 15 years, I was put at ease by how Vivianne listened and reviewed the information I came in with about the cut and color Ive been getting for so long. The color was immediately spot on even though the products are different. It was also calming that she was easy to chat with and kept checking in with me about how I was liking the progress. This was not a short drive but worth every minute to get there and have such a wonderful result.

Shannon is AMAZING! I’ve been going to her for 10 years now and she never disappoints. She is a master at her craft and tells it like it is (which I love)! She knows how to make you look good and leave the salon feeling like a million bucks.

First time at the salon. I saw Jessica for a cut and blow dry. She did a great job and the price was fantastic. So many salons are overcharging. But you can still get your hair done for a reasonable price at Rumors.

I had a phenomenal experience with Becky at Rumors Salon! She not only listened to my wants and issues with my hair but enthusiastically offered expertise, insight and styling tips. I got exactly the cut I wanted and enjoyed talking with her while she worked. The front desk and all the staff were friendly, welcoming and warm and I was able to pick up some great products as well. It’s a clean, nicely lit and lovely space with plenty of room and I look forward to future services there and with Becky.

I made an appointment and called in 15mins late, they said no problem. Unfortunately when I got there the stylists was waiting for me with a look.. The whole time I felt rushed or left for another client. She was juggling with another client as I was a new client I can see why, but shouldnt change judgment on new clients. Took away the vibe of doing something nice for myself. My wash/cut plus blow was 55 plus a generous tip. I will not be coming back, if I do hopefully Ill get someone more friendly or relaxed.

I went for the first time and had Reina. She was kind, professional and sweet. She did an amazing job and Id go back to her! If you want someone who takes their time and does a great job. Id recommend her!

I love it here! I always get my hair done with Amanda, and occasionally Molly when Amanda isn’t available with my schedule. I’ll give the most vague description of how I want my hair cut and Amanda executes it perfectly. I don’t even have to check my hair when I leave cause it’s always great when I get home. Brandy is AMAZING with hair! Especially curly hair. I was really nervous and she spent time listening to my concerns. She educated me on how to take care of and style my hair better than I was. This is the best my hair has felt and looked in years.

When I asked her to give me her thoughts on what looked best in me, she gave a genuine response “since this is our first time here with me I want to see how your hair feels and reacts when we are done with a color and a trim, then if you are satisfied with my work we can get creative. Refreshing! She is respectful to her assistants which is important to me. The front desk was super busy but very professional and kind. I look forward to my next visit.

Really happy to have found this salon. Ive had bad experiences with brassy blonde highlights at other Scottsdale salons, but Molly was fabulous about fixing me up! She really listened and understood immediately what I was looking for. Now I have beautiful natural blonde highlights and couldnt be happier. Highly recommended this salon if youre looking for experienced stylists who care.

Fariba listened very carefully to the type of hair cut I wanted. She asked me quite a few times while I was in her chair if she was cutting my hail the way i liked. At the end we made a few adjustments and I left very happy with her efforts. She will definitely be cutting my hair again.

Raina was amazing! She gave me the best haircut Ive had in years and even made my old washed up hair color look brand new and my 6 year old daughters stylist was patient and listened to her go on about anything and everything..Rumors is an amazing establishment and we will definitely be back to see them soon.

Becky has done my hair twice now, once for a blow out and most recently for a cut and color. She helped me choose a style that complements my face and now, with my new style and color, I feel happy about how my hair looks. Becky is really friendly and knowledgeable and has been working here for eleven years! I would highly recommend both Becky and Rumors Salon.

I was tired of my dark red hair, so I decided to take it upon myself to start lighting it. I got it to a yellow/orange color which I hated and knew I needed some professional help. I already had a haircut set with another stylist but I called that morning & asked if I could see someone else who could do color & cut. They set me up with Janel & Im SOOO happy they did! She was wonderful & worked so hard on my hair. It came out better than I couldve ever imagined. Im so grateful for her for taking on this crazy scary task and making me feel beautiful again! The ladies at the front desk also were always super sweet to me whenever I called. Ill definitely be back!!

I got my hair done by an assistant yesterday, Sam - she is incredible! Personable, professional, and quick. She did my cut and color and holy moly! I look like a new woman. 10/10 would recommend!I also have had my color and cuts done by Hannah, who is incredibly talented. Alfonso also does a great job! Easy to find, and friendly staff.

I showed up in Beckys chair roughly six months ago. My previous stylist over-processed my fine, thin hair. I put it in a ponytail one day and realized I had very little hair left as it had broken off. Becky suggested that we not lighten for the first couple of visits which was exactly in line with my thoughts, so she did lowlights to tone down the processed hair and blend with my natural color in the interim. My hair was finally at a point where she could introduce highlights. She has foiled my hair twice now and it looks amazing. My color grows out beautifully with no noticeable demarcation line. That is a first. She is equally as talented with cuts. My hair is still incredibly thin while the breakage is growing back in, but my haircut makes it appear thicker. I write very few reviews but felt compelled to in this case because she really is that good. Im happy I found Rumors Salon, and Becky!

Ive been going to this salon for the past few years. I have been seeing Tatiana since my original stylist left and she does an amazing job! My hair has a tendency to turn brassy very quickly, but she keeps it in check. She is super sweet and listens to what you want. Its a little pricey, but worth the cost for a job well done!

Nicole was amazing! She read my hair the minute I walked in and knew exactly what to do and how to do it. I have naturally dark brown hair, but highlight to be blonde. My hair easily picks up orange and ash and she did a perfect job avoiding both of those shades. She was also super fast!! The last place I was going (in LAtook 3 hours to do my hair; Nicole only took two without sacrificing cut, color or style. I highly, highly recommend!!

I had a wonderful experience getting my hair done here. The salon is large and cooled. It is clean and modern. My stylist was Taylor and she was so sweet and open to what I wanted. She ended up doing a darker glaze, invisible layers, and a trim and I absolutely love it! Ill definitely be coming back.
