August 2022.I attempted to drop a few bags of clothes off on a Sunday. I understand they dont buy on Sundays but I wasnt allowed to leave my bags either. I was fine with it but the sales person was not very nice about the situation. Unfortunately for me she was working when I took my stuff back on Saturday. She rejected a majority of my clothes. Most of the mens items I had were nicer than what they had on the racks. RETALIATION is not cool. Its all right though. Platos closet is much better anyway. Ill just stick with them. Honestly though, the manager might want to monitor this type of behavior from employees.

I saw this places advertising flag saying "cash for clothes" and I had a nice pair of dress pants that I no longer wore which I wanted to sell. I went there on a Sunday and the lady at the cash register looked at the pants and told me to come another day because they dont buy or take donations on Sundays. I asked if in general its worth bringing clothes to sell or donate. The answer was very very wishy-washy and the best I understood was "yes maybe get a few dollars or a donation slip for tax write-off". So I tried again on a Tuesday out of curiosity. A completely different girl now looks at the same pair of pants and tells me to fill out a form because I need to be a member in order to sell. I ask why I need to become a member and she says "just cuz thats how its done". As I finish filling out the membership form, she looks at the pants once more and says "sorry our policy is we cant buy dress pants because they wont sell". Then I ask about donating and she says they dont give donations slips. Finally I say I saw the sign outside says "cash for clothes" and thats why I came in. The lady now shurgs and walks away.This place might be alright for trying your luck and finding something good. Maybe. But for selling (or donatingclothes, Im suspicious of their advertising flag and Im definitely suspicious of their customer service. I would NOT recommend Runway Fashion Exchange.

If ur buying its a decent place but if ur putting ur clothes up for consignment DONt DO IT!!! You get pennies for ur clothes NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!! They are STEALING from you! POST ur clothes on FB or Mercari youll get WAY... WAY... more money.

I brought in a handful of cute clothes. They only took a mini dress and only offered me $2. I had sold here before and left the credit in my account. It had been a few yrs. So when she looked me up it said I had a balance of $20 she called someone on the phone and they told her to wipe my account. Instead of giving me the money for the other things I had sold to them. I feel like that was complete bullsht! If this is how they handle business the Id say never come here!

No greetings when we walked in from any workers, and the cashier got upset that i put a cardigan back on the rack when no one told us to put it on the counter. The store is nothing special and has really bad customer service!

Priced a little more expensively than your average thrift store, but they have a higher quality, more trustworthy selection of clothes to compensate. Store has a super nice vibe to it; it feels very sleek, especially for a thrift store. They have nice fitting rooms and very pleasant customer service. I bought a Nirvana shirt here for about $7, around $15-$18 cheaper than buying it firsthand, was super stoked about that. Only real drawback I would say is for men and thats that the Mens section is significantly dwarfed by the Womens section, but its still a really good selection!

Very bad customer service. They were very rude and didn’t act in a professional manner at all. Do not recommend going there for anything!

A good selection of clothing, though some of the name brand items cost a little more than they would at other thrift stores. Music is great, staff is friendly, and I almost always walk away with fun new clothing at a low price!

I’ve been donating clothes and i took some clothes in to get donated and they refused to give me anything and my clothes were in good condition. Highly recommend going somewhere else

Never had a good experience with selling clothes here. Recently, I went in to sell some clothes they said they were backed up and couldn’t look at them for 4 hours. Well, 4 DAYS later I FINALLY got a call that said they looked at them and wouldn’t take ANY of them. (This stuff was new too. It had tags still onthey said I had til the end of the day to come and get them or they would be donated. How is it fair that it takes 4 days for them to be looked at but I get less than 6 hours to come and pick them up?? Also, clothes are so gross, hardly anything cute. And the employees are rude.

This is my favorite store! They have amazing items in great condition and the prices are amazing. I get most of my clothes here.

I’ve loved this store for years up until now. I’ve always brought clothes here for some extra cash and they have ALWAYS contacted me when it’s all done. I took my stuff in as I usually every season. I hadn’t heard back which I found weird but just assumed they were busy. I called to find out they don’t call you anymore when it’s ready (yet still took my contact infoand didn’t even tell me that they don’t do that anymore. I took in expensive items as well that I myself could’ve sold. Having my info and not calling after I don’t come in is a screw up on their part. I will from now on be purchasing and selling to platos closet because I know their services are better. Disappointed to say the least figuring I just got scammed.

This store has a very laid back vibe! They always have high quality and cute clothes for much cheaper! Definitely somewhere I would recommend.

Runaway from this store. We tried to sell a few bags worth of clothes. There was included one new item that we thought we could get some money for. But when we went back, we were not offered any money for this item. That is fine as long as we could get it back, but after looking for it, it was clear that it became missing...

Fantastic prices, professional service. Large and interesting selection of shoes, accessories, and clothing for every taste and occasion. Location is a bit tricky to see, or at least my GPS was temporarily bamboozled. Look for the store right next to Cafe Rio, on the corner of Wall and Riverdale Road.

I bought an excellent sweater and an exact replacement of my coat here for very little cost in comparison to other stores. The store frequently gets new clothing and it has an excellent selection.

Update: I never felt more rushed out of a store than tonight. As soon as I walked it I was told "our buy register is closed youll have to come back tomorrow for your 4 pieces of clothing you bought in and if you want to look around, we close in 30 mins."I was there to pick up a jacket on hold but honestly after that I didnt want it.

I really liked this 2nd life clothes outlet. This was my initial visit to the store. I was very impressed 😃. Buy, sell, trade is their moto. Stop by, Im sure you will also be impressed. Prices are astounding! 😷

Tried to give very nice clothes in good shape, that has never been worn. Only for teenage sale rep. To call my clothes dingy and wore, she obviously had not gone through them. I used to love this store but I will not be returning to the riverdale store because of this unprofessional sales girl. Hopefully they can train their young staff a bit better. And I certainly hope I wasnt treated this way because of the color of my skin.

They have such unique pieces and such cute clothes! Love everything here. So much you wouldn’t find anywhere else and everything is in great shape. Love love love this store

Literally thee worst rip off in all of Utah!!! I called to sell a $1800 pair of shoes, and got offered $18.00 for them!! I can’t believe the nerve of these people! I know they keep what they want and, taxes everyone else just to make more off of your item. How about I’ll NEVER GO HERE! I’ll never send a friend, and I’ll write a bad review every time I see or hear something about this place!!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!! Needs to be shut down!!!

Very organized store, with helpful, friendly staff. One of the better thrift/consignment stores in the area. I’ve been wondering where all the stylish clothes in Ogden go, and it’s here!! Prices in general are very fair. Some stuff is a little pricey IMO. I had picked out a couple of sweaters, and later realized they were each about $15. Not terribly expensive, but the secondhand sweaters just weren’t worth it to me. However, the real steal of the day, was the $20 Original Vintage Levi’s Sherpa Jacket I found! This might be a fluke, maybe they didn’t realize it’s worth. But let’s just say, this store made me a happy girl! Will be back for sure.

Great place to find clothes for my teenage daughter!!! However, I will never buy a gift card or send my daughter in there without me! The lady at the register cheated my daughter out of $10.00. I looked at the receipt and its true! I confronted the lady a couple days latter and she refused to credit my daughter the money they took from her.

Hated this place! workers were too busy talking and visiting rather than greeting. Brought in a ridiculous amount of clothes, good brands as well yet got so little back. I love Plato’s closet in Layton so much more. Definitely won’t be back here.

I have been shopping at Runway Fashion Exchange in Ogden, for more than a year now, and I have been met with smiles all around and treated with the utmost respect. I could spend hours shopping there and I always leave with a ton of clothes without draining my bank account. The store manager and all the employees have been so nice and amazing and always make me feel welcome. I recommend Runway Fashion Exchange for anyone who is on a tight budget, like myself, or anyone, for that matter. They sell great quality, name brand clothes, as well as a lot of off brands that I usually end up buying because theyre so dang comfy 😊

The customer service was great! The lady who took care of me was very nice and respectful. BUT I’m not impressed. I brought in a lot of very nice clothing and they took about a quarter of it, which is still a lot. But, they only gave me $33 for it. And included in the clothes they took was a REAL, never-worn, leather jacket. That alone is worth more than everything they took. I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

You wont find better prices than this store. The clothing is fantastic. So nice to be able to get all of the brands in one store. I love that I can stop in and shop without having to go to the mall and walk around. And they are right next to Café Rio so I can grab some dinner! The store is always super clean and smells great. I love the feel of the store. The owners are always super friendly as well. So nice to have a local store.

First off Ill state that this has nothing to do with the employees, customer service was great. I really just dont understand the system. My go-to gently used clothing place is Platos closet, and I love their store. My friend told me about this place and told me all the similarities to Platos! Wow I was stoked to check it out! I brought in some of my name brand clothes that have been taking up room in my closet to try and sell. I was offered $6.00. Six dollars for 5 name brand items they bought. I understand I couldve declined the offer, but as I stated earlier they were just taking up room, Id rather have them gone. Just last week I sold to Platos Closet ONE Nike shirt and they paid out $7.00. So I hope this company gets their money back off the $80.00 Free People shirt I just sold for $1.20.... Ill stick with Platos for their cheaper prices and better payouts. (:

This store is amazing! I love their prices and diverse clothing. They have something for everyone and the people who work there are so nice! I have also sold clothes there and even though they dont price things very high its worth it to trade in your clothes! Will recommend this place
