Fantastic people! Friendly, professional, and affordable. Great experience!
I used your services before and was very satisfied, but when I needed there services again just couldn’t get them to answer my calls, it wasn’t closing time and they were open, but they pick up the phone and hang it up every call I made, so had to take my business elsewhere, it’s no way to run a business
Rusty works on every make and model of motorcycle Harley‘s dirt bikes street bikes everything you can imagine he has the knowledge and passion to make it run and run well I highly recommend
The before, middle, and end result! Love the make over on my bike! If you’re looking for a attention to detail this shop is the place! I absolutely love how my bike turned out THANK YOU!!
I know the owner and he is a very honest and trustworthy person! Today I came with lots of questions about a motorcycle I recently bought and he took the time to answer all of them and give me great advice!
These guys are down-to-earth and straightforward. They even offered me a ride to work when I dropped off the bike (just a few blocks away). They wanted to be sure it was 100% when I rode it away, and put injector cleaner in the tank to address another potential issue. My bike is happy again. They have lots of customers and lots of bikes in the garage, but be patient. I can see why theyre highly rated, Id recommend this shop to any serious rider.
Multiple times now they have given me advice and helped me without pay. One time after a repair job I was even told to ride on it for a few weeks before paying because he wasnt sure if they had fixed the problem. After a couple of months it was clear the problem was fixed so I came back on my honor to pay them. They wouldnt have asked! Incredible people.
As a college student, they helped me get my VStar back on the road very quickly!! Would definitely recommend them for anyone wanting excellent service and pricing! Very knowledgeable and I’ll be coming back for any future problems I have. [#localbusiness] Thanks y’all!
Reasons why I go here even though I have to ride an hour to drop off my bike and then take the train home.1. He doesnt make you bring your bike in only to stick it at the back of a 4 week que.2. He thought it was just as ridiculous as I did when I told him the dealer charged me $40 to turn off the check engine light.3. He once recommended that I not have an expensive but uneeded service done.4. He has somehow managed to provide all parts of the holy trinity, good work for a good price done fast.
Just found these guys today. Smaller shop but fantastic service. Very knowledgable at what they do. Please patronize this place #local business. Major stores like harley and monarch will not touch Victory motorcycles but these guys are not scared. Plus: only one week turn around. Very nice!
Rusty was quick to get started on my Spyder and found the problem. He also made sure that all the codes were addressed and put right. Courteous and pleasant to work with. I felt that no one there treated me differently because Im a woman.😊
Hands down best shop in Utah County and the only shop that’ll work on bikes older than 2000. They have helped me tremendously and are very reasonable with their prices. They have also given me a lot of solid advice for problems with my bike so I can work on it myself. My personal first line of defense when it comes to any motorcycle related problem. Highly recommend these guys!
I cant say enough about my experience with Rustys. I have a vintage 1972 Yamaha CS200 that has had a gas leak for years. Ive taken it to numerous shops without any success. I took it to Rusty to see if they could fix the leak (plus a few other issues). They DID, and they fixed everything else, and they did it in a day or two. By far the best service Ive had in the area. Ive finally found my go-to guys.
I broke a main jet on a carburetor while I was working on the carburetor. I took it to Rusty shop and spoke to Lincoln. He took it to Rusty and he got the broken jet out and put in a new one in the carburetor. They just having when I came to pay for the job and Lincoln just said “catch you the next time” did not pay for the work done and now the motorcycle is working great. I took it back to them and they tune the carb for me. No charge. What great guy they are.
When I was younger I remember taking my bike to Rusty’s. At the time he worked from his garage. He fixed my bike for a great price. He also, free of charge, fixed my motorcycle’s cracked mirror using some scrap glass. Awesome
Rusty is as good as guy as it gets. He easily could have charged me a bunch to fix a fuel problem but kept it real and told me to go to autozone and how to quickly and cheaply fix it myself. Honest mechanics are hard to find but Rusty is one of them.
I cant recommend Rustys enough. Ive had him work on a couple different bikes and have always been very happy with his work. He usually has a little longer wait times but its definitely worth the wait.
These guys are amazing. Theyve taken care of me when Ive needed it, and its been easy and quick. They basically helped me get an old bike back to 100%. Im sure that Ill be bringing my future motorcycles to them for sure. Would recommend, nothing but good people and good work.
I dont usually write reviews, but I relied on other reviews to take my bike here. My first experience was good. I brought them a new bike I had purchased that needed the 1 month service. I scheduled an appointment and they got it done in a reasonable amount of time. So I had 2 other bikes that needed work done and they scheduled me a week out on a Monday in the morning. The timing was a little inconvenient for me, but I wanted to get the bikes done so I dropped them off at the scheduled time. I called on Thursday to see if we might have them for the weekend and they hadnt started on the bikes and said there were others ahead of ours. Rusty said they should have them done at the first of the next week. On Monday on my way back from Springville l, I dropped by to see how it was going. I saw the guy that was always in the office with Rusty, who I thought was a partner. When I asked how the bikes were coming, he wanted me to refresh him on which bikes and what was wrong with them, which I did. He told me he hadnt started on them, but could probably get them done on Tuesday. I was very nice and said it would be great if we could pick them up on Tuesday. I asked if he would just give me a call when done. A few hours later I get a call from Rusty. He says, "So I heard you talked to one of my mechanics and that you were irate. You need to talk to me and not my mechanics." I explained that I was not irate and that I thought I was talking to his partner, but that I was beginning to be irate. I let him know that I didnt appreciate the call, the tone or the accusation. I asked if any work had been done on the bikes and he said no. I said dont do anything I will come and get them. He responded, "come and get them." First of all I waited a week to go in on a scheduled appointment. A week later nothing is done. My attitude was never bad when speaking with them, but I did express a desire to get my bikes back. I have 4 bikes and Rusty will never see any of them in his shop. I took them to TWP down the street, who took them with no appointment and said he would do his best to get them back to me this week. Hoping that I have found a good shop!
Rusty and Lincoln and their team took care of my Valkyrie. Just purchased, it had been garaged for 5 years. They had it up and running in record time, at 18% (yes, less than 1/5ththe cost I was quoted at a dealer shop. Thank you! Appreciate the communication, great service, and attention to detail.
Rusty and Lincoln are the best at what they do. I never take my bike anywhere else. They are the only ones who are allowed to do any work on it. Rusty is knowledgeable and an expert on anything motorcycles. For years they have fixed my bike and I come out happy and back on the road every-time. Thank you guys!
I have never been let down by Rustys. From doing general maintenance with oil changes and tires up to actual fixes on my bike like replacing my tank, ext. Very understanding, very knowledgeable, and very friendly in my experiences with them
all i have to say is wow rusty and his crew are Great! he took a very big project of mine and turned into a small no problem deal it was amazing how willing he was to show things i didnt know and teach me a little. He makes you feel like your the only bike in the shop really takes the time for you and your questions i would recommend rustys to any body!
Rusty and his crew do quality work and charge a fair price. I went to pick up my bike and they noticed before I left that few things needed to be adjusted still. They worked on it with me right there and even put in a new light but told me they were going to stick to the price they had originally told me. Really appreciated it. They know their stuff and are extremely helpful.
Ive been servicing here for the last year and it has been splendid. Their cost is fair, their timing is reasonable, and their service is pleasing. I dont know much about bike mechanics and theyve had to explain some real simple stuff to me, but theyve never been condescending or abrasive. 10/10 would recommend.
Cant say enough about these folks. Most reliable independent mechanic Ive ever taken my motorcycle to. Never any hidden charges, theyre always upfront about what needs to be done. Theyre honest, transparent, and they get the job done right. Theyve resurrected carbs, replaced fork seals, and performed emergency last minute mechanical surgery to get me back on the road. Ace guys.
After getting high quote for repairing my motorcycle from the dealership and two other motorcycle shop. I was able to get the repair done at Rustys for fairly cheap. Great shop to go to, they will try their best to work with you.
My motorcycle was having many problem, took it to Rustys, Lincoln explain the cost of a diagnostic and repairs. I choose not to repair the motorcycle because it did worth the cost. they were honest with me and let take my motorcycle without paying for the diagnostic. This shop is a great shop to deal with. thank you rusty and Lincoln.
So I recently purchased a bike that was worked on by this shop. They worked on it and said the bike was good to go. However when I test road it, the bike was leaking a lot of oil. So the previous owner took it back to Rusty’s to have them check out why the bike was leaking oil. They checked it out and claimed they fixed the issue. I called the shop and confirmed the work they did and based off their work and reputation I purchased the bike. However after purchasing the bike, it starting leaking oil again within twenty minutes of riding it down the road. I can’t ride the bike without the engine and exhaust smoking from all the oil leaking. This was either negligence on the part of the mechanic working on the bike or it was just a bad job done by the shop. This shop worked on this bike twice and both times said it was good to go. While I have not meet any of the staff at the shop, based off the work they performed on the bike, I would not recommend this shop to anyone I know.
Hey Rusty, I had someone drop off my 73 CB350 here to get the carbs rebuilt since I was out of town. He recommended you based on price. The bike ran fine for a day before it died while climbing a hill. After that it wasnt able to start again. Since the bike was 40+ years old and the mechanic mentioned other things it needed done I didnt want to sink more money into it.Eventually I took it to a guy in Draper, who specializes in older bikes, to diagnose the issue. What surprised me is that he said the carbs were in pretty bad shape. All he did to get it up and running in great condition again was a carb rebuild.Looks like your customers are generally happy with your services, I just didnt have good results.
Terrible service. Absolutely awful. The front receptionist was annoyed I came in because they are short mechanics and had too many bikes. And hes not a mechanic, so youre telling him the stuff you want done and things get lost in translation of info from him to the mechanic. Then if you have questions...he wont have answers. My bike was running GREAT before bringing it in but I wanted a general tune up (chain tightened, oil changedand a multi-point inspection. I got charged more than what the services provided should have cost me (by about $100). How do I know? Because 1 month later I had to take it into another shop and drop another several hundred bucks because my bike had issues that it never had before taking it to Rustys. Finally, they gave my bike back FILTHY. Because they had to store it outside due to too many bikes, (which I was ok with), it got rained on. No problem. But other shops Ive been to AT LEAST wipe it down or give it a quick spray down. Not Rustys. Did I get detailed info about the multipoint inspection and what things I should look at replacing in the future/etc. Nope. I didnt.Rustys may have been a great shop once, but it certainly isnt now! The entire experience was awful and a waste of money.
Amazing shop. Rusty Knows his stuff and does a great job. I cant express enough how highly i recommend this place. I was riding and got a flat tire, stopped by there and he had me up and going in no time and was super helpful with the whole situation. Had a friend get alot of work done on his bike here and im jealous of his bike everyday. If you need work done on your bike, Bring it here. I have been back a few times since and am always stoked with the experience. Wish i could give 10 stars.
Rustys is the best place to take your motorcycles ,ATVs, side by sides ,anything with the small engine. Or a big engine it doesnt matter he can fix everything hes amazing. He told me about something going on with my motorcycle that I never even thought of checking . probably saved me $500. and my bike is old and hard to find parts for but Rusty did it and even did it faster than he said it would . and he washed my bike . no one has ever dune that . I would definitely go to Rustys again and I recommend it to all my friends. That is the best shop experience Ive ever had. Thanks to Rusty and his crew.
Rusty went out of his way to take good care of his motorcycle. Hes the kind of mechanic you trust and who will do more than what is necessary to get your bike where it needs to be. He took probably close to an hour without any pay to teach me certain things about my motorcycle and to get everything where it needed to be. Great guy who knows how to fix bikes, and very honest.
Amazing, the only person Ill trust to touch my bike! Rusty is the best motorcycle mechanic Ive ever used. Hes both talented and honest which is a rare combination. Hes great with both American bikes and metrics and is able to get as wild and custom as you cab handle!
Make this your go to bike repair shop. Dealer wanted $250 and was 8 weeks out. Russ did the work for under $100 in a week and its never run better!
I bought my first motorcycle recently and unfortunately, the guy who sold it to me didnt disclose the depth of issues with it. Took it in to Rustys and he took amazing care of me. Even discounted the services because Im a veteran. He had to adjust the carborator, rebuild the forks, fix tires, electrical issues, brakes, literally a laundry list of problems. The charge was more than fair, and he even taught me about some of the parts since Im a new rider. Best customer service Ive ever had at a repair shop hands down.fast, amazing service and very fair pricing. Will be going back for all the optional "fun upgrades" that Ive got my eye on too. If you read this, thanks guys!
Both the Guys at Rustys are amazing! They have a good sense of humor and know what they are talking about. Rusty is a wizard when it comes to bike repair. I had a top end oil leak that was slowly getting worse. I took it into his shop and he said he was going out of town and that he would try to get it done in a week. He was able to get it done in less than a week under the price that he estimated it would be. If you are needing any type of repair for you motorcycle this is the place to go. I will be bringing my business and recommending my friends to him as long as I am here in Utah.
Great place. Took my Vstar in after I had some frustrations(and failuresfrom working on it myself. These guys fixed my bike perfectly and he even went out of his way on his day off to get a part that I needed. They were quick and gave me a very kind price for the work they did. On top of that, my bike is running better than ever. Couldnt recommend these guys enough. Stop going to dealerships and start coming here!! Such a cool place
I had my 1985 Honda XL600R for five days, and was having a blast riding it on the street and on some trails, when all of a sudden, oil is pouring out of the cylinder head area. This was a big problem, because I was moving to Cedar City in less than two weeks and didnt have time to figure out how to tear it apart and diagnose it myself. I took it to Rusty, and he had it fixed and back to me in six days (four business days).Rusty went out of his way to explain to me what happened, showed me pictures of the cracked head and the camshaft wear that will have to be addressed down the road (I would have had him replace the camshaft but I just didnt have time). Super nice guy, hopefully Ill be able to find a mechanic down here in Cedar City who is half as good.
By far the best motorcycle shop in town! Rusty and Jason provide the best service every time I visit them. Prices are on spot and Jason and I always joke around. Wouldnt trust my bike with anyone else. Ive even left my bike late at night and Rusty takes it in the next morning without me having to call. Thanks again guys!
Best place to get your bike fixed by far! I have a project bike and I am not able to fix everything myself. Have taken it to Rustys to fix several issues with my bike including the clutch cable, fuel tank, and he even fixes electrical which is great! Rusty always fixes my bike promptly and he doesnt charge that much to fix what Ive needed. He really is one of the few honest mechanics around. Will do business again! Thanks!!!! A+++++++++
Walked in and Rusty stopped what he was doing to look at my bike. While we spoke, he gave me his full attention and helped me learn what was wrong with my bike and what he needed to do to fix it. He did all the repairs I needed including a couple of small things that he just saw needed fixing. Great and fast work. I would recommend him to anyone.
They always do awesome work here. They do prompt work, are very friendly, knowledgable, and always fair priced. Great shop!
Weve taken our scooter in several times to Rustys. They do good work, weve just had a couple slightly negative experiences. Once, we got there when it was supposed to open, but had to wait twenty minutes because everyone arrived late. Also, we dropped off the scooter, but then didnt hear from them for a week, so we had to call them and they told us someone would call us back that day. They didnt, so we had to call again the next day. We are pleased with the results, but the service could improve. We probably just had bad luck with them.
Just had my bike worked on by Rusty. Ive brought by multiple bikes over the last few years. From having him do a simple safety check, oil change, to pretty elaborate customizations and mods to my bike; hes been an absolute pleasure to work with. He has a very diverse knowledge of bikes, repairs, customizations, etc. Ive had him work in depth on mods to a 2014 Yamaha Bolt (Cruiser), and a 2013 Suzuki GSX-R750 (Sport bike). Ive put him in a few tough situations with some unique things I have been trying to accomplish, but cant do on my own. And each time he did it easily and made it look great. I always appreciate how fast his service is and his exceptional price. Dont go to the dealer! Go to Rusty! Whenever youre facing a pretty challenging project, do yourself a favor and save yourself a ton of time and have Rusty Motorcycle Sales and Repairs do it at an affordable cost. You wont regret it.
Ive been to Rustys twice to get work done on my motorcycle. Both times the service was very prompt and professional. I was able to walk in with no appointment and get my bike worked on immediately. They always called before doing any work on the bike (which I appreciated). They also would explain to me what was the wrong with the bike, why it wasnt working, and things I could do in the future to take better care of my bike so I wouldnt have to bring it in. This last visit Rusty went the extra mile fixing small things on my bike I didnt even know were wrong! They also stuck to their time estimates. When they said it should be ready on friday, it was ready on friday. I think the pricing was also pretty reasonable.Friendly people who do good work. I never got the feeling I was being jerked around or charged extra for anything. Honest guys who do good work can be hard to come by, so its refreshing to see that Rustys operates this way. I have zero hesitation recommending rustys to a friend. So go in today!!
Ive been there twice and both experiences Ive done a walk in/no appointment and was taken care of right away despite how busy rusty is. All of staff are friendly and social. Ive gone in the first time to replace my front tire and do an oil change took about an hour and a half but like I said hes busy and it was a walk in so thats pretty damn good. Then I went in later with a flat rear tire and he put aside what he was doing and started to work on my bike to get me on my way. Once again its a great place and theyre very friendly and they do the best they can to get you up and running again.
High quality and honest work at a very reasonable price. I originally chose Rustys after reading the reviews on their previous Google page. I tend to gravitate towards reading the negative reviews because theyre usually way more interesting. What impressed me was how the few poor reviews had been responded to by Rustys with more logical reasoning than the customer who wrote the complaint. As a customer I would rather have honest and experienced mechanics that stand by their work than a meaningless online apology. Since then, Ive been in a few times to have work done on my Nightster and I couldnt be happier with the service Ive received. I highly recommend going to Rustys.
Personally, Ive had a great experience in all my dealings there. As long as you dont walk in there all douche-like (read: entitled, demanding, etc...), theyre great people to get to know and will do good work for you. Ive received lots of free advice, quotes, and help on various motorcycle needs. Bought my bike there and knew that I was buying something that would work! Its treated me well and theyre to thank for that! Also, if youre a skilled mechanic looking for good work, Im sure Rusty could use you!
