This place is great on service, taste and pricing. Even their delivery arrives well and good temperature. Not sure how they do it so consistently, glad they do.

Love the tacos al pastor

Today I made an order in store and let tell you my experience. The food was ready and hot when I took it home but my sopecitos de Al pastor had no Al pastor meat. Instead they tried to use their decorating skills and filled it with pineapples and onions. Each and every bite was all sweet but no meat. Utterly disgusting and soggy. On top of that the agua frescas are $5 when in other Mexican restaurants they are $3-3.50 for the same size. When I called to tell them my problem they asked to fix it but nobody has time to walk 10 blocks back and forth in this hot weather … very disappointing.

The place is DIRTY… tables are not cleaned after costumers leave, bathroom is disgusting, floor needs to be swept 🧹! Maybe the manager can get off the cash register and supervise??! That would be a good starting point. The waitresses were friendly but the food was nothing special, not coming back since there are better and cleaner Mexican restaurants in the area.

Horrible place. Didn’t give me a refund. Gave me the wrong food. I suggest never to order from here. They have horrible customer service. Horrible delivery line. Horrible food. Horrible Delivery Person. Honestly if there were a 0 star rating I would give it! Even the distribution was horrible.

I used to love this place before covid, I’m not sure what happened 🥴 My food is soggy and falling apart to the point where i can’t even eat it. We asked for extra sour cream and it was carelessly thrown in a bag with 2 sodas and it spilled all over, and we were charged for it too. It’s such a mess honestly. IM SO DISAPPOINTED!

My boyfriend took me here because I said I wanted tacos. Apparently he loves this place. I ordered the birria tacos and he got like some soup and rice thing. My food was okay overall. Our server was really nice. The atmosphere was cool too. We enjoyed our lil lunch date overall.

I’m tired of these people messing up my order this is the last time I buy from them. I’m a regular always order from them but they always mess up my order I don’t like to write reviews but I had to say something. Buyers be aware they really don’t care about their customers

Ive ordered delivery twice. Got the large guacamole and chips and the portion was great! Also got the quesadilla with steak, which had a great steak to cheese ratio and really tasty cheese inside. Also the side salsas are great! I would say the orange is spicier than the green, but both have a great flavor.

To my surprise, I was expecting something else but was this particular dish, Huevos Divorciados, or, divorce eggs as they call it, this dish was a great surprise to me seeing in San Antonio and Houston they make it totally different. This eggs were made Veracruz style. Delicious indeed. I strongly recommend this place.

I ordered food for take out but while ordering the service was the worse. They need be nice, respectful and i expected good customer service since i have been ordering food here for years. The food it’s not the same like it was when they open it.

I placed an order via Grubhub and they placed rotten avocados on my order. Im not sure what restaurant wouldnt care about the physical representation of their plate. Further, when I called to request a refund/change they refused and were only willing to deliver a new avocado. This is completely unacceptable and I will never order from them again. There are plenty of other restaurants who actually care and provide good customer service.RESPONSE:Since I cannot reply, no I did not "ask" for a new avocado. It was literally the only option I was being given. Yes, I did return it when the delivery man got here because not only did i pay for the food, not only did I get served rotten avocados on both orders, but now I have to settle and fix my own plate that I paid for? No, that is not how the restaurant business works. Im sorry but no. The fact that that the plate left your establishment in this condition makes me question what else youre willing to let slide. Oh and btw, I was the one to contact Grubhub and requested a refund on the basis of such, not vise versa. You did not work "very hard" to fix it, you were mostly annoyed because I said something about it. The delivery man saw the plate and agreed that he wouldnt eat it if it was offered to him. I have a video of him agreeing. Thank you, be blessed!

So impressed with this place. Ordered on uber eats tonight and not only was it fast - but the food came HOT, Wrapped in foil tight and securely. The food was so good. We are picky about tacos but these were 10/10. Guac was fresh and flavorful. Everything was so good we will be ordering here more often.

Ordered my food at 1pm via Uber Eats it is now 3:05 and I still do not have my order. Calling the restaurant to verify everything is okay and no one answers. Extremely Frustrated with this restaurant.

Summary: Just wow!Weve tried majority of places serving similar type of cousin. This place keeps up with high quality, decent pricing and the food. wow!We definitely keep ordering as long this place keeps to maintain its greatness.

Let me tell you about my delivery order. The memelas that cane weren’t only soggy but the meat didn’t taste like the al pastor I usually get from other places. The flautas were dry and barely had any meat which was stuck together and came out with one bite, not to mention that they were skinny and short. The torta was ok but then again, how can you mess up a torta. I recommend going to the Veracruz around 40th and Bergenline as my experience was completely different from this poorly packaged and mediocre restaurant.

Prices not updated on the menu; youll get hit with the new charge and servers wont do a thing about it. Shame, because the food was actually quite good. Service was very good up to the point that we were met with the bill. I noticed what I thought were errors on the bill, and amicably brought up the price disparity on the guac to our waitress. She simply told us that it hasnt been updated on the menu and theres nothing she can do about it, with a pretty nasty attitude to boot. We told her that at the very least it shouldve been said to us upon ordering, and while to anyone with common sense it seems like the reasonable thing to do, she said her boss explicitly told her NOT to tell customers, and judging by her delivery and reasoning, she seems to think its the right way to do it as well because "some customers might take it NOT the right way" (her words, not mine). Again, shame because the food was good and to have customers not come back because of horrendous customer service; and to have a place that serves decent food potentially go under because of $3 and an attitude is pitiful.

A not bad, and quite decent Mexican restaurant in the heart of Latin American center of NYC - Bergenline Ave. Very fresh, and actually surprisingly good. Even veggie tacos were very good, nicely grilled. Guacamole and pico de gallo are on par.

I have been ordering on this place because the online service they provide. Usually I try to get the bill around $20 so that I can tip $5. But For the past orders there have been issues that needs to be addressed.The food is kinda of good, not great.I got a expired tiramisu a while back. I let them know. Sometimes the food used to come under 35 mins promised, still hot. The past orders the food has been delivered after an hour and 10 mins, the food is cold and the delivery guy seems that they hate working there.To top it off, I have gotten hair on the food but never complained about that but it is time to review this place and change food place to order from. The best fish tacos Ive had in the North East. So glad I live nearby. Give the chef a raise! Make sure he/she never works at any place else.

Always fresh and fast. Delicious food and the free chip and dip is always appreciated. Its nicely decorated and its never too crowded. Theres also plenty of vegetarian options

I order from Veracruz at least twice a month. Sometimes 6 times. I highly recommend trying their philly cheesesteak or other steak sandwiches. Prices are fair, the food always good, and from being inside the store you can see they keep a clean store and have efficient management.

This restaurant gets (4/5 starsmainly for allowing customers to order online. Quality of meats could use improvement even if it means raising the price. I Recommend their sopecitos.

Food is amazing 5 stars for the food, the place is also very nice BUT there register girl named Daya very unprofessional i simply made a mistake on a order i gave but but i was quickly to ask her the differences in the taco bowl to the chips and she gave me the most unprofessional attitude i ever seen given to a customer just for asking a question. Very unhappy with the service if u go there just make sure at least not to deal with her because youll be unhappy with her service. The other male thats there unfortunately i dont know his name but hes awesome n very helpful never mind guilli is his name 5 stars to him and i know because im hear right now writing this, thats how upset i am...

Great Mexican food!! I’ve had the tortas and the sopes and they’re both delicious. Affordable. And they have amazing sauces.

I ordered huevos a la mexicana with steak and pancakes with sausage. Quick delivery, hot food, cooked well, very tasty. Everything was beautiful. And they give you an option to pay cash for online ordering! Definitely will be ordering from here again.

Service is fast, horchata is delicious, friendly people, the rice is amazing, but in my opinion, Ive tasted better Mexican Restaurants...Everything thats wrapped in a tortilla, I feel like it needs to have more choices.They look like what I see in a McDonalds, just throw the rice, the beef and everything inside the tortilla, and hand it to the customer.Put more love into every dish. I want to add guacamole, some pico de gallo included for free, onions in the salad without paying extra, mixed tacos, like they do in other restaurants.Good place to try out though, I liked the taste, but I compared it with other Mexican Restaurants in NJ when I Did this review.

Well, I was expecting more from this place, their menu is really poor and the food lacks of a lot side options like any another Mexican restaurants. A lot to improve to stay in business in the Area.

Sabor a Veracruz it’s the best Mexican restaurant on Hudson county area, food it’s delicious and always fresh, reasonable prices also fast and free delivery when you call the restaurant, amazing staff and owners also if you coming with friends that are not too familiar with Mexican food don’t worry their menu offers lots of choices like burgers, pasta, hot and cold sandwiches you name it.... my favorite choices are the steak tacos and Sopecitos!! You won’t be disappointed!!!

I had authentic Mexican tacos before, and I can honestly say this was not pleasant to eat. Chorizo was BURNED! And the other meats where very tough. I’m disappointed. Never coming back.

DELICIOUS! Everything on the menu is a must eat. My husband and I love coming here. The staff is amazing. We feel as if we are visiting our friends. Definitely come and eat here. GET LOTS OF CHIPS AND SALSA!!!!

Arrived on Sunday night around 5:30pm. Waiter immediately approach us and took our drink order. We are two lemonades which was really refreshing. We were brought over chips with green and red sauce. Our order was two Tostadas (hardened corn tortillas); 1 carnitas (porkand 1 chicken. The pork and chicken had really good flavor topped with lettuce tomato avocado sour cream sprinkled with hard cheese. Definitely will return for the service, food taste and price!Their delivery service appeared very busy, that’s a good sign of the quality and service.
