Nice store the employees are usually friendly except when they are stocking and you ask them a question they seem tired and worn out and not happy at all, perhaps it is because of the extremely high prices in Wickenburg for food as compared to wages.

Never ever buy the Safeway gift cards!!! I bought2. They totaled $300. The manager "activated "them . I mailed to mother in law and son. Neither was activated and unusable. So I sent cash and they sent them back. Now Safeway says their" policy" is never to take back cards. How are you supposed to know if their actually activated. Im furious!! Like I would steal cards for my family. Ive shopped here for years and was treated like a common crook. I will miss some of the awesome checkers, but cant bring myself to shop here anymore

This store always has the best employees. They are always friendly and willing to help. I rarely have to return items but I did today and they did that without any hesitation with my receipt. The only thing that I didnt like at the store was that it was out of stock on a lot of items but I realize that was not the employees fault but just because they were unable to get the items.

Luved Safeway. It is small therefore easy to get around in which makes it less confusing to find things. Entering in the middle of the store and checking out in the middle helps you not to have to wonder why there is a handicap parking space at one end of the store when you r going to run ALL over it to make purchases and drag yourself back to the exit door where u parked your car.

Pharmacy sent notification to cell. I was in line (3rdwith elder lady, Cowboy Roper, and out in 9 minutes. I thought it was faster then expected. Good service.

Our go to grocery in Wickenburg, bould rather see some lower prices. Dont like having to shop some of the time in Surprise because of limited competition and food taxes in Wickenburg!Good and friendly staff. Enjoyed the 10% senior day discount.

PLEASE stop freezing your bread and bakery products. When you can taste freezer burn, it ruins the food. I have brought this up to the management on staff and been told by one that that’s normal (no it’s not normal to have food taste freezer burnt), another that they have to in order to have food on hand. I have shopped in multiple grocery stores in west Phoenix and Wickenburg seems to be the only store this occurs in. Practice better inventory control and you wouldn’t have to freeze large amounts of food in a retail environment. I’m sure that I speak for most people when I say the people prefer fresh food.

80% of why I come is the staff. Groceries are groceries, and prices dont vary so much from one place to the next, but the staff is top notch here. Of course there are variances, but when random people know the name of the vegetable kid, the bakery girl, or the coffeeslinger, and greet them happily, you know its a good thing.I challenge you to have a problem here.

This Safeway is clean and fully stocked with every and anything you could need. A major plus is Sally who works in the Deli Dept. because she has amazing customer service skills! She is so personable and kind. It is so refreshing especially now a days. Great job Safeway for employing a phenomenal employee. I highly recommend this store!

This stores employees are highly commendable! They were kind enough to let me rush in and get a few things! Those few things ended up being a cart almost full. I apologized to them and they genuinely were okay with it, even though they had already locked the doors!I dont make a habit of doing that type of last minute shopping. So a big shout out to those employees!!The store was very clean and neat and tidy. The fresh foods were fresh and delicious!I will absolutely shop at Safeway again!!!

Smaller store, so not quite the variety of a big city store. Produce was fresh, and the butcher counter had an impressive assortment of fresh-frozen seafood, which I did not expect in the desert! All staff were friendly and helpful.

Prices are getting too high but they do have some good buys...good produce section...

I gave 2 stars yet the 2 stars are for the last part of my review otherwise there’d be 5 stars… some of the blame is mine for not catching the 1st mistake at the till.I purchased 4 # of butter that was on sale through the app but being not familiar with app purchasing I overpaid $12.00. That’s a chunk of change. The manager told me to bring in the receipt and he’d make it right for me.The 2nd issue happened when I purchased 1 1/2 pounds of fish. This was the 1st week of lent and my sis and her hubby were coming for a visit. I thought sole fish which you don’t see often, would make a great dinner, besides our mother made it in a special way and we could reminisce family times years ago.The meat counter person, I’m disappointed in because I feel he should have told me the fish had to be used that day… it was Wednesday; they’d arrive on Friday for dinner. I’ve purchased fish before and used it a couple days later…. Thursday morning as I opened the fridge the whole house began to reek of sour fish. I looked at the label and saw the noted print “to be used” by that Wednesday night… not the next day nor the next… I think the fish was already on its way to being unfit to eat when I purchased it.

Security followed me all over, like I was going to steal something. Im 81 and have a bad leg. I called Safeway and told them I might not ever come back in the store again.

Good supermarket but what stood out was their excellent meat and fish section. That alone is worth 5 stars.

Very nice helpful staff in several areas of the store, which is great because Im visiting Wickenburg from out of state for a few months.Clean, neatly stocked shelves and easy check out.

I shop at this Safeway every Friday morning. When I enter the store it is always clean and well lit. The aisles are wide. The displays are very attractive. The people working there friendly and very helpful. I use self check out. It is quick and easy.

We shopped New Years Eve and Ive never seen so many people in the store in my entire life but we got through it we had some good meat

Brand new to the area and I couldnt have gone to a better place to be welcomed!! The staff was friendly and helpful even though it was really busy for the Thanksgiving holiday. They showed me around the store to find what I needed, with absolutely no rush or bad attitude, even as I self checked out with digital coupons (Thankyou girl with Green hair, you were my superhero!absolutely looking forward to going back!!

Nice store! I was surprised to find so many organic options available. I found pretty much everything I needed there and of course the price of everything has gone up recently, at all grocery stores, but reasonable prices and a clean comfortable environment too.

Sometimes, I stop here on my way home from work. They keep their store clean & organized, a little higher priced on some items compared to other stores in town. The staff is always nice to me.

All selves were full and lots of good deals. All checkouts were open got though the checkouts guickly. Didnt have to use self checkoutsI hate self checkouts. Carey Sigler

I really wish Safeway wasnt so expensive. Their prices are high but their stock is wonderful and they do have fresh fruit, vegetables, and meat. They dont try to sell cheap with the old stuff by recycling like other stores in town. I really like their friendly smiles.

I have always loved the store, but recently when they put in the self checkout lines, they have obviously limited the amount of live clerks. This morning there were 7 in the only line open. Self checkout in a town with a lot of seniors doesnt work.

Safeway has great selection and a good deli. Biggest reason why it doesnt get 5 stars is the wait time in line. Needs more check out clerks after you have completed your shopping.

Great store. The only thing I would say is skip the pre made flowers in a vase. Take them Call me yourself and save money. The arrangement at Safeway are not up to par they need a lot of work I was not impressed at all.

My car broke down in Wickenburg and was was going to Flagstaff and coming from San Diego and I was able to make it to your store and was treated so well there I spoke with your employer Lois and she was so kind to me. Im disabled and she went to her manager and told her what happened and let me change my phone and gave me some water because I was sitting in my car for 2hrs and it was 120 outside and a couple of other employees came and checked up on me and someone bought me a sandwich my God you have no idea how much I appreciate them all because I was in so much pain and trouble and scared so God bless you all for the kindness you all gave my I will never forget this.Thank you all
