GHETTO! Employee left censor on my sons homecoming shirt that we didn’t notice until it was too late! Not only did this ruin his day but now we have to travel back to get our $ back and couldn’t even reach a live person at any single extension in the store for weeks! Saks was negligent in removing the censor initially and negligent by not having working security systems to catch the censor. We will never shop here again
Top notch store, great selection. Associates engaging and helpful. A+
I was in town for a wedding. We stopped in Saks. This location was awesome. I walked by the fragrance counter. The lady at the perfume/ cologne counter (Robertashe was so nice. She really helped us out a lot.
They will literally close the store with you in it, doesn’t matter where you parked, get out when they close and they close an hour before the mall apparently. Was about to spend several thousand as they announced the store closing. Oh well, I’ll spend it elsewhere. Pathetic excuse for high retail.
Had to return a Versace belt. Waiting on the replacement
Excellent store with quality salespeople. Pricey and beautiful. Has a huge cosmetics department. The flagship store for Beachwood Mall. The place where the beautiful people hangout.
Havent ever bought anything too expensive, but the worker were real nice despite not buying they do answer your questions. Saks was like being in a fashion museum. All the brands I have heard of in movies I hope to one day shop their for real.
Usually I spend time designer shopping online to avoid snobby staff. However, at this Saks I am always greeted and given the acknowledgement of a decent human being. I have purchased several items for events in person for a promotion and wedding event. Every time I was offered a beverage as I was strolled by leisurely shopping for items with the SA. Staff are genuine and always offer assistance. the cosmetic staff were the best among them all and always gave away perfume samples to take home.
This location is a complete joke I would never spend my money here again. They’re only helpful when they need a sale in person. I’ve called multiple times and nobody seems to pick up the phone they just hang up but yet once Im there in person the phone is still ringing and there’s employees standing around THIRSTY to get your sale And trying to pitch items on you thats not your style
I really really wish the DIOR inside Saks carried mens goods! I love coming here to shop and check out new pieces. Saks also has some good sales on designer goods sometimes. If you are shopping at Louis Vuitton definitely ask for Angela, she’s very personable and knows her product.
No inventory. Associates arent helpful nor are they even knowledgeable about the clothes. This place will close very soon
Pretty nice. The mall overall is nice. Pretty much the same thing as Nordstrom and Dillards I guess
New layout is much more inviting.Starting to look like SAKS!!!!!!
Not too bad. The service is nice for a luxury department store, but the selection leaves much to be desired.
Had a wonderful experience at Saks. Lynn from Prada so sweet helped my wife research the purse she wanted. The Gentlemen that works for Tom Ford was very helpful with my purchase. We also talked with Alterations about adjusting a very special dress my wife owns.Very professional.I ❤ this store.
They need to Bring more newer styles in I love sneakers like the next person but how many pairs of designer secrets can a person need to have events we need to go to where we need killer heels bring the red bottoms back Saks!!
So I went in to exchange some shoes ( Gucci and let’s just say Mark from men’s shoes was amazing in helping . Definitely went above and beyond !
I guess in here its only go big or go home. Didnt have the belt I wanted. I guess I need to order it myself apparently. The perfume I buy is $300 a bottle. Its insane but so good. I wanted a sample of a new one. I couldnt get 1. Im not buying it without trying it.
Soooooo Eric at the Tom Ford counter is my new beauty BFF. I asked questions about La Mer products that I had previously purchased. Eric took the time to educate me on each product and proper usage of them. He recommended other skin care products after assessing my skincare needs. He also helped choose new fragrances for my honey just by looking at his photos and was spot on. I am amazed at his level of expertise and grateful for the time he took to assist me with my needs.
I am old school and this was definitely 21st century young people with different tastes than I have, but I wanted to check it out
The store manager John D. Does not know who his best customers are. He is very unprofessional and has yelled at his employees in front of myself as well as other customers. In addition, the crime in this store is out of control. As I do not feel safe I will be taking my business elsewhere or at least ordering online. I will be contacting corporate.
I don’t feel safe visiting this location and you cannot find a single employee to help you out when you’re shopping! This store has gone down hill.
rude workers stalked and harassed me for taking some videos for a friends project. wouldn’t spend a dollar here anymore you guys should welcome people instead of acting karen and threatening them. i came to support local tax dollars but seeing the mall is absolutely dead there’s no traffic i can’t comprehend how you guys stay in business. only logical explanation is a front for some criminal enterprise, which would explain why you don’t like filming
The customer service for Saks is absolutely horrible. To be such a high end store the service does not match the prices you pay. They need to teach their employees how to talk to people. I spend way too much money in this store to have people have nasty attitudes because they are wrong.
Very nice associates but I would recommend more variety of things like Bvlgari and stuff they have online.
Linda Prince at the Creed fragrance counter is a doll! She is very personable and friendly. Listens to likes and dislikes to make great suggestions. Took great care of my son, daughter-in-law, and myself. Also, Robin, in the childrens department is very sweet, friendly, and helpful.
Saks fifth Avenue refuses to refund me my money for a package that I never received that FedEx says they delivered but I never received I did the complaint with FedEx, I made a police report, I did everything that saks said to do and they refused to give me a refund or credit or the item. I will never order from this store again
All I can say Is Robin Robin Robin.. (Hope I am spelling it rightShe was a gem. Amazing personality. Very Helpful and she seemed to genuinely care about our shopping experience. She is Saks weekend warrior and I really loved everything about her.
Do not shop online. Off Saks did not mail out all my items. I called them spoke with someone foreign who gave me a Claim number and told me I was going to be refunded. To later receive an email stating they will not refund. This place is trash and customer service poor. I wouldn’t buy nothing else from here.
Was not happy how rude staff was at high end boutiques. I went to a few Gucci, Burberry and Prada and was looked at and completely ignored wasn’t acknowledged at all. One women at Prada said (while I waited behind the rope“did you want to come in?”… no I just normally stand at store fronts and stare at people for fun.
Not a fan anymore! I do not appreciate having to make an appointment to enter into premium stores! I would rather purchase on line! At least theyre more options to choose from! I had a better experience in Las Vegas, purchasing what I wanted!
I love this placeYou can find these high end brands boutiques ( Gucci - Louis Vittoun - Prada - Dior and you can also find other high end brand like MK, Toryburch - Marc Jacob - ValentinoAnd all high end brands Makeup and perfume
Saks online in regards to the customer service is beyond disgusting. I purchased a pair of Sam Edelman leather loafers. I own several pairs of Sam Edelman shoes and have never had any issues. Within 15 minutes of wear, the shoes began to crack and the leather began peeling. In 2 attempts to return the shoes explaining to both customer care reps what the scenario involved, I was told it would not be an issue. The company returned the shoes back to me twice stating they would not issue a refund due to wear. I have attempted to contact a supervisor and every time they lie to me and tell me someone will contact me back. No one has contacted me and since they sent me an email stating they will not return the shoes even though they are defective. What a disgusting showing of customer service by this company. I have never been treated this way by any company. You should be ashamed, this is a scam and quite frankly feel like I have been stolen from.
I love the Louis Vuitton store, but I hate to have an appointment to shop. That takes a lot out of spantanuous shopping and you loose loads of business. IJS
We drove over an hour to come to Saks specifically for some Burberry shoes and then my husband was going to buy me an LV bag. An extremely unenthusiastic male employee came to the entrance and asked if there was something specific we were looking for. We said no we were just looking. He sighs and says “we’ll it’s a 55 minute wait”. Looking inside, there wasn’t a single customer. Just 5 employees screwing around and laughing. So….you lost a sale, and future business. The man who helped in the shoe department, however, and hope he got commission. The one at LV, you must not need the money.
I truly do not understand why the sales associates are snobby at Saks. You do work in retail and just because it’s high end it does not matter. It’s just CLOTHES! I despise walking through this store because the energy is so snooty and no one ever speaks to you!!! It’s okay because I take my hard earned money to Zara or H and M. If I want the designer look, I rather shop at a consignment store haha!!!
The employees are awesome in this place and make buying luxury goods that much more memorable and enjoyable.
Most of the employees were nice and they ask if you need help .! Oh the lady at the Chanel counter was my favorite. This one guy Andy was nice but tried to act like he wasn’t following me around the store, he eventually stopped. Stop judging and let people shop in peace. I can actually buy what I want relax. The average sales associate makes 22-30K a year . So it is beyond me how these guys can be so snobbish .
This is a very nice store in a very nice mall. I came here and walked around to look at the various clothes available in the store. The store was very nice and clean, but much to my dismay, all of the clothes were very expensive. I checked the price tag of a jacket for a 6-year-old, and it was $275! After looking at that jacket, I took the escalator down to the first floor. At the first floor, I went into the Gucci store, which was very fancy. It had leather belts available for $450 and cloth belts available for $420. After looking through the Gucci store, I left and continued on with my day. I gave this store 5 stars because it’s very clean and fancy.
This review is nothing to do with this location specifically bu Saks’s 5th Avenue in general. Their customer service for a high end department store is awful lacking. The first time we bought a bag there in the store there was a pen mark on it and we asked for them to ship the same bag from another store. They shipped that bag from that store to our house with an obvious attempt to scrub the pen mark off. When we called the other bags were gone and it took an hour on the phone to make it right (either allow us to return or give us an additional $300 off of our purchasebut it took forever and they acted like they were doing us a favor. The next purchase we made was on the website because they had a promo for $450 gift card if you purchased over $2000. My wife liked some items and added and added some others to get the gift card. Saks later cancelled one of the items (said it was out of stock 4 days after the orderwhich brought the total less than $2000 which per the promotion. My wife called and asked if it would affect the value of the $450 gift card that we received at that the time the rest of the items arrived (the card had $450 written on it as did our receipt). The representative confirmed the value of the gift card would remain unchanged (she might have returned a few of the other items if it was).A month later when we were ready to use the gift card the value was coming up as $150 instead of $450. We called customer service and asked what they issue was and they said it was because the last order was less than $2000 and that was despite the fact that they had cancelled a portion of our order (we didn’tafter it was placed and had a representative confirm at that time the gift card value would not be changed back to the $450 (it was escalated to the highest level at that time). They have since refused to adjust the value despite a formal complaint to the BBB. Clearly they don’t care about their customers if they can’t make a customer whole after they mess up.Saks 5th seems to be a “high end” department store in price only. We will never shop in any of their stores or online with them ever again.
The sales team was very rude. When I told them the size I wear I was asked where I purchase my jeans. I told them Macys they then showed me one pair of ugly jeans with elastic. The clothes are extremely overpriced. I will never shop at this location again.
I went to the georgio Armani counter and I wanted to try put the foundations and concealers. The attendant was extremely rude. She treated me like I was below her. I asked her for a sample or a travel size, she proceeded to look at me and tell me that they dont sell travel size, but shell give me a sample. Normally the attendant would come around the counter and match me. She stood behind the counter and display and would lean over. She gave me a random shade number that did not even remotely match. She did not explain the shade names and what undertones the foundations have. I was treated very poorly. Would not recommend.
I went to look for a dress and this is my first time shopping mainly in the dress department. I was assisted by a store associate named Becky. She was very kind and assisted me with my transaction. She was a very friendly person from start to finish. She helped me get into a fitting room and I was able to leave the store with something nice.
Since I recently started shopping here I have encountered very friendly and helpful staff. Jasmin has been so kind and helpful. She helps me find everything I’m looking for that Saks carries and she has shown me new designers that I am in love with their collections. My first time shopping she gave me a tour around and I met Norma in Chanel cosmetics. They both assisted me in coordinating a skin care/makeup makeover for my mom’s birthday and my mom was so surprised. As she walked in the door she was greeted by the associates that also wished her a happy birthday. My mom was also able to find a birthday gift she loved with her new Chanel makeup. Thank you so much for taking the time out to make sure our shopping experience was enjoyable. I’ve never had such great treatment at a department store. This is my new favorite place to shop.
Went to their lingerie department to see if the had a high end brand I was looking for. I walked in and the woman working there says "this isnt Victorias Secret" you wont find that stuff here. Have been through a few more times since and have yet to have anyone offer me assistance. Will never spend a dime there.
The stuff of this store is awful!! I’ve been shopping in this store for years. I got a thanksgiving gift and lost a gift receipt and came to the store for help just to exchange the size. The manager Anita who I never met before accused me in stealing! because I didn’t have a receipt!! In front of everybody! How dares she! I’m a doctor loyal person never stole a candy in my life and she is indicting me in something like this. Will NEVER come back to the store and recommend to everybody to bypass it.
Always our go too, but please bring back Christmas land, radko, mackenzie childs, oh my
The worst experience I have had in several years. It is truly a sad day when people treat others with such unnecessary disdain. I am a pleasant, educated, respectful adult at all times...however today I was tested. Nancy looked at the receipt for several seconds, inspected the shoes, and stated that they looked worn and would have to seek approval for the return. The entire time of her poor customer service, her tone and demeanor were speaking louder than any words she could have spoken. She returns and states that as a one time courtesy the shoes would be accepted. The shoes were NEVER worn! Then she stares at the receipt for several more seconds....I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS STORE!AND I HAVE TOLD MY CHILDREN TO NEVER RETURN TO THIS STORE.Although my son said that Joey provided him Great Customer Service. Thank you Joey, you were the only person to offer him assistance.
Worked there as Security for their Gucci Boutique Store During Christmas 2017. Had an amazing wonderful time. This store is Glamorous and huge. Its part of the Beachwood mall in Ohio.
I recently visited the store simply to test out fragrances before making a decision to buy. Expecting to be confronted by snarky associates, wanting only to make a sale, I was pleasantly greeted by Ms. Rhonda. Although she specifically works with one brand, she was kind enough to walk me through the department, introducing me to several different brands and scents. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and plan on being a recurring customer despite living 3 hours away. :)
