Havent stayed in the rooms yet.But I have visited the lodge on multiple occasions and have enjoyed the restaurant, the honey from heaven and the ambiance. Our most recent trip was a little lacking on service quality, but Im gling to chalk it up to being off time hours (between service). Will certainly be back.
My sister got married here and the staff were excellent. From the valet, room service, the servers for the wedding, they were great. The scenery and location are top notch!
We had dining reservation. Highly highly recommended. Jared was a great server and took great care for family of 7. He remembered everything in detail. We had 2 anniversaries, 3 birthdays to celebrate and it was a blast. They served us complimentary to be a part of our celebration. The vegan food was fantastic. We all are vegetarians. The mocktails were great. Brussel sprouts were over fried. We were not very happy with our seating in beginning as we had already booked our slot but they had to set our table separately and were asking us if we wanted to move to another table after the round of drinks. We were so involved that we did not move but would ask anyone to ensure a window seating next time on the call. Rest it was a memorable night for all of us. We are definitely coming back.
I went to my sons wedding. It was sweet and unique. The dinner at the reception was awesome! Great food, great wine! Happy moments!
I found a $100 discount on a room and the very next day they canceled it. I called them up to ask why it was canceled and they apologized and offered another room for the full price of $619 and didn’t honor the price I had booked. For reference the average price you can book is around $350, but on this occasion it was on a weekend which is practically double. Probably due to demand. Pricing I don’t mind so much, hotels can price whatever they feel. But when a business offers a certain price they should honor that agreement and not withdraw it. I’m sure it’s perfectly legal but I find it very distasteful.
268 club is a must! The included VIP lounge was such a great perk! We had an incredible time enjoying the steam room and the soaking pool before relaxing by the fire in the relaxation lounge. The view of the river and top of the waterfall was amazing! All the staff are extremely helpful and go above and beyond. Very relaxing and would highly recommend
My husband treated me to "The Dining Room" at the Lodge for my birthday for a memorable luncheon. Everything about it was 5 star including the view of the falls, the excellent service, the outstanding food and the attention to detail. Note the photo of the complimentary biscuits they served and the garnishes for their delicious coffee including whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles. Highly recommend!
We rented a room here for a dinner after my sons wedding. We did the decorations and they prepared a fabulous meal, served it and handled the bar. It was perfect!
The only thing disappointing was that our room didnt have a view of the falls. Service and the staff was friendly and very helpful. We look forward to coming back!
We recently got married in the Cliffside room at Salish Lodge and we cannot recommend Salish enough. Everyone at the lodge went above and beyond to make sure our stay and our wedding day went as perfectly as possible. The food was delicious. the wine was flavorful, the entire building was clean, and the view was breathtaking. Emily did a fantastic job answering our questions and ensuring our wedding day was exactly what we had in mind. All of our guests knew that they were in great hands with the excellent staff running the reception. Salish offered a wonderful wedding experience that will last a lifetime.
This is a great place to relax and unwind in a beautiful hotel in a gorgeous location. The staff is amazing. My only real complaint is I didnt find the bedsheets comfortable at all. They felt stiff and starchy. Otherwise the views are great; its a minute walk to look at Snoqualmie Falls. The dining room food is fantastic. Its a pricy place to stay, but overall a great experience.
We held our wedding reception at Salish Lodge and while it was certainly beautiful we could have had better service literally anywhere else and paid a quarter of the price.
Very nice place to stay for a few days. I stayed only a night. The lodge feeling is definitely there. Beautiful wooden panels and designs. Customer service was great. While we waited to check in to get our room they offered complimentary drinks during our wait without hesitation. The restaurant had nice views and included somewhat of a show with their own made Honey. You must purchase the Honey at the gift shop. It goes well with there biscuits with butter. For breakfast I had coffee that included a spread of different sugars, chocolate, creamer or whipped cream. I used them all for my 2 cups of coffee I had. The pesto mushroom omelet was delicious. I would go back for more. The falls is walking distance. Use the Valet service. It will make your stay a lot easier. They are very nice too.
Nice place, good food but the restaurant hostess has no manners. Very rude! Ruined my lunch. If I stayed was to avoid stressing my family
We visited for a wedding! The venue was beautiful, the staff was very friendly, and the food was delicious. We recommend the venue for events or just a 50-80 wedding.
So this review is strictly for the reservation system. They are definitely short staffed as I’ve called 4 times over the a 4 day period and have been unable to schedule a larger reservation for a month out….aka no one has provided a call back. We have eaten brunch there and when actually present, the service and food is good. But they need to do a better job getting back to people in terms of reservations and large parties. Definitely disappointing in that area.
Only went for Brunch, but it was a lovely resort with a killer view of Snoqualmie Falls. Food was very nice.
My husband booked me a rejuvenation package here for one night. The spa area was nice, and the soaking pool were beautiful. I wished they had a cold plunge pool though. I had a stone crop body treatment and paid a total of $300 for it, including the tip - it was a joke. In 80 min, half the time was spent by the girl draping and undraping one body part after another. I mean I could have scrubbed myself better in the shower for free, literally. Ive had many body treatments in the past, and this one was waste of money, Im sorry. Massage therapist was awesome, and I highly recommend Michelle. The hostess to the spa was stressed as soon as I walked in, she couldnt remember what I wanted to order after I told her twice, she was very flustered and I was starting to feel anxious as she was not able to kick people out of the soaking pools on time. Overall experience was not relaxing. For someone who spent nearly $600 and half the day at the spa, I expected a nice relaxing atmosphere, good treatments. This was not the case.
The hotel staff is super helpful and friendly. We had a lovely stay and the food is amazing! A little on the pricier side but everything we ordered was delicious. Love the use of local ingredients. Also every room has a fireplace and chromecast is built in.
This is a Spa Review.I booked a spa morning for a wedding party in July for 5 women. The morning itself was wonderful and the staff on site were great. When it came time to pay, my card was sent to the kitchen to pay for champagne. There was an initial issue running my card from what was on file (since my card was in taken to the kitchen), but the spa manager said that it went through on the computer and I got a receipt. A week later, I had not received a charge. I called and left two messages over a two week period, one with the front desk and and one with the spa receptionist, telling them that I hadnt gotten charged and wanting to make sure one of the others didnt on accident. I received no call back after my attempts to reach them. Since no one else got charged, I assumed the spa would call me when they did an audit or write it off.A month or so later, the bride, who had paid for her nieces massage, got a second charge from the spa that showed up on her credit card statement. Mind you - there were 3 credit cards that were used, so it seems that they just picked one to charge without any investigation. My friend left multiple messages about the charge and got no response, so she disputed with her credit card company. Only then did the spa get back to her - and it was to say that they were right about the charge. We now have an email address to try to talk to someone, but they are refusing to call either of us back after we leave messages and only communicating via emails.I had already thought that the multiple day wait to get a response was rough, but little to no investigation for their mistakes on charges and then lack of response when questions are asked is completely unacceptable. This experience in the last month has tainted a beautiful morning experience that we had celebrating my friends wedding day.
This is a beautiful retreat. The falls are fantastic with a fun hike to the bottom for the adventurous. The rooms are lovely - the fireplaces in the rooms really add something special and the showers are great. I recommend checking out The Attic for great views and fun drinks. The restaurant was disappointing and overpriced, but everything else was perfect.
First-ever facial with Heidi on Sept. 12. Set me at ease and was thoroughly enjoyable. First time resort spa visit with my mom and sister (they did massages). Grotto was also lovely. If I did this again however I would do facial after the grotto, as anything applied at end of facial washed off. Oh well, I told Heidi to talk to me during the process and let me know what she was doing. Truly wonderful first experience. I wish this spa existed in Virginia where I live :)
Did not stay at the lodge. We had breakfast there. They are famous for a huge breakfast which we had. We pasted ourselves which means you take a few bites of each item and leave the rest. It was delicious.
This is for the spa only. I booked a massage for my husband and come to find out that the steam room, sauna and soaking pools are no longer available with the service. Very disappointing to find out the morning of the treatment (their website is a bit confusing as to whether or not this is included with a treatment). Also, good luck trying to get in touch with the spa. They do NOT pick up the phone - even if you go through the front desk or talk with other members of their staff. I had to initially book via text, which perhaps should have been a red flag. Incredibly frustrating experience - there are other businesses out there who offer a much better level of customer service.
The food (at least breakfastis really good! Great coffee, overnight oats, and biscuit with in-house honey. Sandy is a sweet heart, amazing service. Oh and of course a great view.
We had reservations for brunch. Great views from the dining area. Food and drinks were all top notch. The honey was a great treat!
We enjoyed our first wedding anniversary dinner before flying out to the Camen Islands the next day. Our family joined us and raved about their meals and the wine we selected. Service was a little off on this occasion, but the kitchen and views made up for this disappointment. Overall I would recommend this dining experience for any special moment. Incredible views, especially of waterfall. Great food, very personable staff. Try the gift shop... youll enjoy it. We were visiting our son (were from Phoenix). If we lived there, the lodge would be our regular eatery!!
Beautiful area and a wonderful experience for my wife and I! I gave it 4 stars just because I am critical of the price and some of the room features/linen. To start I love the food, people, and environment, all of these are top notch. Where I found mediocrity was in the linens, towels, and bathrobes. Not a deal breaker for me but I will admit I have softer fabrics at home than at the salish, which very much surprised me. But overall, I loved it and would return, just bring your own robe at the very least.
Best breakfast place by far especially when celebrating. Fresh food. Our server was so friendly, hard working, and responsive! Have been here many times and am never disappointed.
Food was great! Service was top notch. The mimosas were delicious - all the juices they added tasted fresh. They add their in-house honey to a lot of their dishes but the best item to have their honey with is the biscuits they serve right at the beginning with butter and jam. The patio is great but if you want views, grab a table indoors. It did appear a bit crowded so I’m glad we made a reservation before heading there. And parking can get a bit difficult as everything was full nearby. We ultimately went with the valet parking option.
All around a great experience. My sister and I stayed here for a night before her wedding and enjoy a relaxing evening. Room service was fairly prompt and the food was amazing. We didnt have a view of the falls, in room 213, but we could hear it from the balcony. I highly recommend for any occasion.
We came on a Sunday for the dining room. It wasnt available. They were having a private party. It was 2 pm. They said the other place would open at 3pm. Needless to say we didnt eat or stay there. We did however purchase water for $4 in the gift shop.
One of the better spots around our area. Very beautiful, spacious, great views, and many options. The waterfall is near by, therefore, you will always have a beautiful surrounding. They host weddings for up to 100 people. It’s really scenic and worth the money. They also have a spa. Enjoy your stay.
Amazing breakfast! Honey on Heaven on biscuit was delicious and chicken/waffle. Ask for Harun as your waiter. Exceptional service with him! Views of Saquamie Falls
Top tier hospitality with a spectacular view! Everyone working here, from the valet attendants to the front desk staff to housekeeping were all courteous and professional. The rooms are cozy with great amenities, and the pet friendly rooms are fantastic as well. The romance package is a great value, and includes dining credit, in room champagne, rose petals spread throughout and more.Located right on the Snoqualmie Falls, the view is amazing and access to both the casino and downtown Snoqualmie is seamless.
I stayed here with my now-husband the nights before and of our elopement day in WA. Salish Lodge & Spa provided the most incredible lodging experience. Before arrival - I received text messages from our “personal assistant” at Salish who responded to my questions about my particular reservations.Upon arrival - excellent complimentary valet (one car per roomand bellhop service with timely delivery of our belongings to our room. The complimentary welcome cocktail at the front desk was delicious and comparable to a cocktail you’d receive at a bar!During our stay - we ordered the romance package for our stay - they provided new rose petals and bottles of champagne each night of our stay! We booked this online and in advance when we booked the room - hassle free! We booked a room with a view and had a nice view of the waterfall once you stepped out onto the balcony! The Dining Room - one of the restaurants. My goodness, just an incredible experience. We made reservations through Open Table about a month in a half in advance where we noted that we wanted a table by the window with a view of the waterfall as it would be our last meal together before husband-and-wife. The host was very friendly and escorted us to a private room with one table and 3 windows for walls with views of the trees and waterfall! The service was also excellent and the food was delicious! The location - you feel like you’re in a remote destination with a picturesque waterfall overlook just feet away from your hotel. The town was less than 5 minutes drive where you have access to local shops and restaurants.Overall, you pay a pretty penny for a high quality, unique, local experience. I would stay here again to celebrate an anniversary or special occasion, as well as recommend to anyone looking for an amazing experience in the area.
Lovely hotel and friendly staff. Fire place was on point. Rooms are super clean. I reccomend the Premium Room with the Bay View. Very spacious and a good size for a family of 5. Comes with the King bed with the Sleeper Sofa that folds out into a large Queen bed. Private balcony is also included and the bathtub has a Jacuzzi. Our family loved it and will be referring friends and clients to this property! Thank you for a great experience!!!
We stayed here recently for a wedding. The room was nice and clean and had a great view of the falls. However, there wasn’t a microwave in the room, no space to eat in the room if food was brought back (obviously they want you to eat at their on site dinningand most of, if not all, of the kid friendly shows on the TV required you to purchase a pass. I knew going into our stay that this that this hotel was not very kids friendly but I was hoping they might at least have kid friendly tv included. My main complaint is with the hotel staff. The first day we were there, room service shows up at 2:30pm. At this time we are in the process of getting ready for the wedding and ask if they can come back in 30 minutes when we will be gone for the evening. They confirm 30 minutes and say they will come back. However, they never came back. We returned from the wedding at 10:30pm to find out they haven’t come back. I don’t mind that the beds haven’t been made but we could have used new coffee cups and clean equipment for the poor over coffee. The real trouble begins n our last day. On the day of check out there was an after wedding brunch at 11:30am. Check out is at 12pm but we were told we could load our car early and leave it in the lot until we were done with brunch. We call the front desk at about 10:45 am asking for someone come help us with our luggage. Since it’s not check out time we left a few small items, including my purse in the room. We load our car, chat with a friends in the lobby then return to the room. Upon returning to the room I immediately notice that my purse is missing! No one is in the hallway to ask if anyone went in our room. We search the room and see nothing. We retrace our steps and see nothing. We speak with hotel staff and they have nothing in lost and found. I talk to the valet to get keys and check the car, he remembers seeing the black purse in the room because he helped carry our bags. We check the car anyways and see nothing. We go back to the room and check everything again. We check the car again and check with hotel staff who still don’t have anything in the lost and found and don’t seem particularly concerned that my purse and wallet have gone missing from our room. Upon going up to the room again we find the cleaning staff and ask if anyone has been in our room. Unfortunately, they speak minimal english and we aren’t able to communicate with them well. After a bit of back and forth a cleaner in another room pops out and understands we are missing a purse. They say the purse has been turned into the front desk. The front desk still knows nothing about the missing purse but the cleaning staff is able to produce the bag and other missing items from a room behind the front desk staff. No one was apologetic or even bothered to say sorry that my purse had been removed from my room before check out and that I spent a good 30-45 minutes frantically searching for it. This is the reason I will never stay at this hotel again or ever recommend it to anyone.I do want to say that the Valets are amazing. They are all super friendly, knowledgeable about local attractions and dinning and work their butts off.
This really is the kind of place you go when you are looking for a break from the mundane. Its a beautiful site, and every bit of service here is filled with tiny touches of elegance to mirror the beautiful area around it. Definitely make reservations ahead of time for dinner and breakfast- its well worth it.
My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon last week and did not want to leave. We both agree its the best lodge we have stayed in! The room was extremely spacious, cozy, and comfortable. The fireplace was in frequent use, the shower was roomy and spa-like, and even though we didnt have a room overlooking the Falls, you cant go wrong here!We frequented the Dining Room and the Spa during our stay and everything was just wonderful. We are already planning a trip back for our anniversary!
Great ambiance and thoughtful food with a seasonal menu. They have a new thing where you get an olive oil candle for your bread. Where to say, but their water is super refreshing and clear.
Went here for a graduation Brunch with the family. I must say, they had the best clam chowder, Ive ever had. The service was stellar and the value of the food was great!Had the Pork Belly and Potato Hash with Kimchi, Fried eggs and onions. A spectacular dish. This is a hidden gem!My 1st time here and I was impressed. If you get a chance to go, I highly recommend.
My husband and I spent our 12th wedding anniversary here. Our dining experience was not as great as others said. Filet mignon was so salty hard to eat it. The Halibut was not fresh it smelled and I couldnt eat it due to it tasted as it smelled.Cocktails for my husband turned out horrible also .The room was very nice and comfortable just wish I had a better river view. Especially for the price .When booking the room I tried for the spa but it was booked. My over all plan for a romantic evening wasnt romantic.Great customer service on check in and out.
The Atmosphere is very friendly! Every staff member is super helpful and looks like they truly enjoy their job! They greeted me with a free sample of kamboucha! The provisions market was very tasty as well as the addic! We ordered over 200$ of food for just 3 people in two days! It adds up quick! Make sure you ask about their kid menu its not advertised so we were buying the kids adult menu items when the kids menu is healthy options and fair portions aswell. My favorite smoothie was the blueberry almond.Dont forget to bring stuff to roast stores the two fire pits are amazing! The tennis court is awesome and the bike track is fun !The spa is wonderful! With sauna. Indoor and outdoor pool!
We had a great experience overall. It was a little frustrating having to unplug the cable on the tv just to watch one of our own movies. The mini fridge in the room is more of a wine fridge and doesn’t really work for food. More mini than most fridges. Also not allowed to use a cart on your own, only valet can do that. Had a nice couples massage. The bathtub in the room was amazing - largest tub I’ve ever seen. My 6’6” boyfriend and myself (6’both fit comfortably. Cocktail on arrival from the check in desk was lovely. Food was top notch. Best Caesar salad I’ve ever had. Overall a nice stay but could have had some improvements.
We stayed at the Salish Lodge and Spa for our honeymoon and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The hotel is beautiful and the location on Snoqualmie Falls is breathtaking! You can listen to the sounds of the falls from your balcony. The hotel welcomed us with drinks and sent a complimentary bottle of wine to the room for our honeymoon. The hotel staff will go above and beyond and did! They always found ways to assist us as guests - from bringing bags to our room, exceptional valet service, and helping with all questions. We went to the spa for a Couples Massage and Soak and the staff were friendly, available to meet all needs, and welcoming. I also had a facial which was hands-down the best Ive ever had. Also, we highly recommend going to dinner at the Dining Room @ Salish restaurant on location; the food was delicious, service even better. The Salish was the perfect location to start our honeymoon!
This a very nice hotel. Large airy bedrooms. 4pm check in is a bit late. Ate dinner at the Attic in the hotel. The food was excellent, but huge portions. The service from Damon was impeccable.“Real” valet parking includes handling baggage.Overall a really nice experience. Fabulous views of the falls. I expected more of a traditional mountain lodge rather than modern decor but it was nicely done.
Everything was amazing...except the spa being booked. So book your spa the same day you book your reservation. The staff was all nice..each and every one of them. Their hiring staff did a great job. It smells amazing inside...like instant relaxation when you walk through the front doors. We will definitely be back. And hopefully be able to get a massage.Ans get the lemon towels. Their to die for.
Absolutely one of the most incredible getaways Ive had in my lifetime. My lady and I had the best room service and the most spectacular view. We ate a magnificent meal at the restaurant and I highly recommend the pork chop. As you can see end your meal with both the Raspberry cheesecake and the chocolate smore. Mixing them together is is The Secret. Dont forget to take the stroll down to the rivers edge and get the romantic photos. We also had the evening in the hot tub with the fireside massage. We will definitely be back soon and I recommend you do the same.
