Went to their food bank very very very helpful employees and staff. At first I thought the lady who went to help us was going to be a snobby or rude and Im so glad I didnt say anything dumb because that woman was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. I would like to thank them for what the hell they help me what they treated me like and for the atmosphere that they protrude when you walk in the door

HELP PEOPLE WHO NEEDS IT

I was feeling embarrassed that I needed to get food assistance but everyone is so nice and generous I always leave feeling grateful and positive. Over the years the salvation army has done so much good for the emporia community and my family. The staff and volunteers make emporia a brighter community. 💗💛💙💜💚💖😇😊you know you are in the right place when all the good things outweigh any negatives. Thank you for everything you do!!

Im not much for all the Covid precautions, but they were helpful.

Nice clean well stocked store. Always find interesting in their shelves. A big mystery there on my last visit is. . Where the h@!! Are all the forks and spoons for sale?? There was every other form of kitchen utensil available.

Fantastic people that joyfully help people in their time of need.Luck blessed me with the capacity to be a donor, but just as easily, my family could be needing their help.They are a clear reflection of Christs teaching.

Even though I helped during the summer it wasnt bad, Im staying focused in school. And Im planning on helping this summer.

Food pantry,Angel tree,utility assistance,rent assistance for the needy,clothes&coats vouchers for there store and various other helpful programs for families&individuals.

Enjoyed the church service and lunch and seeing my old corps officers and friends.
