There were eight of us for breakfast. We had reservations. Coffee was very good. My corned beef hash omelet was very good. Only downside was the hash brown potatoes were the shredded type (frozen?and not fresh.
No frills, good value diner food! Great greasy breakfast, we come here whenever we r on town!
Nice place, clean, fast service. Some communication problem with staff but it was easily corrected. We had breakfast. Yummy and hot.
Delicious breakfast diner meal. Small town feel with comfort food ! 10/10 recommend for breakfast.
Pancakes were fine. Many omelets on the menu. French toast and combination items available. Great service.
Food quality has greatly diminished. Could barely cut through pancakes with a knife! Bacon tasted like it was microwaved and syrup containers were sticky.
The food was good and quick. The restaurant was very clean too.
During a time where restaurants are low on staff, the limited staff was great. Although getting our food took some time, the staff was very pleasant which made up for everything. Food was good too. Thank you 😊
I love their breakfast food. Service is great too. I come here with my family often when we go to the beach.
Flawless food, swift, friendly and professional service, perfect pricepoint. Best breakfast Ive had in months. Lump crab bennie add pancakes and coffee for 2 totalled less than 40 bucks before tip, this place rules
Its noon, paid for parking, walked blocks, and they were closed. Update your hours??? Maybe, let people with families know. And the dude that owns it I guess or manager day and counter money and just stared at us. Very unprofessional, not coming back.
A regular stop for us every time we come to Rehoboth, we love Sammys!!
Seemed like it was busy when we went, but we were seated within 10 minutes. Waitress came to get order immediately after we sat down without really even letting us see the menu, so we felt a little rushed. I got pancakes and some bacon, also got to try eggs. My pancakes tasted worse than McDonalds style, sort of seemed like the ones you microwave from the freezer, and they were not warm to touch. Not really sure why this place is so busy!
We came for brunch, and there were a ton of options for us to choose from. I ended up going with the Crab Benedict, and it may have been one of my favorite meals during our 3 night stay at Rehoboth Beach.
Gluten free options at reasonable prices. Highly recommend if you can find parking.
Love Sammy’s. Great food, great value, nice staff and super clean.
Nice little Café experience. Good on the breakfast!
Excellent food, service and pricing in todays messed up economy. Will definitely return and highly recommend Sammys Kitchen in Rehoboth.Paul S. Heimers
A first time visit to Sammys was a great start to our day! Light, airy pancakes with sausage were eaten by kids; and eggs, shredded potatoes, and toast were eaten by adults. The order was placed and on the table within minutes, thanks to our attentive waiter. Well be back!
Diner style restaurant with good quick service food. Staff was friendly and patient. Would recommend if you need a quick bite at a cheaper price.
We were on vacation at Rehoboth beach and thought this would be a great place for breakfast. Nope! It took over 40 minutes to get our breakfast food and we were charged for every refill of orange juice and coffee. Seriously don’t go here.
Never have we ever been disappointed. Not only is the food delicious, but the service is spectacular. They are like family whenever we visit. Thank you Sammy 😘
This place is a mainstay in Rehoboth Beach. Weve been coming here for over a decade, and is our traditional last stop before traveling back home. Sammy is an attentive and remembers my family year after year. Greek diner style b/l/d, food is always good (and breakfast is great the morning after a night of drinks 😁)
Got a lump crab meat omelet with cheese there was no lumps very little cheese and it looked like they only used one egg. The worse by far it didnt even have a good flavor. Very disappointed
Excellent! Came in really early and it was almost empty. Great service. Staff very friendly and very fast. We didn’t have to wait long. Good prices and a great variety of choices.
Staff was very friendly. Breakfast food was mediocre though. Our cups of water had clear black flakes of something in them (all 4). Probably wouldn’t return but it’s possible we maybe just ordered the wrong menu items
Great breakfast, good service. Corned beef hash was yummy!
Great service and great breakfast. Fast and efficient service team, breakfast was great. They serve hash browns not home fries which is always nice and sometimes tough to find. Lots of menu choices without making you feel overwhelmed.
Delightful. We enjoyed this restaurant connected to our hotel. The owner (I assumewas there and he was very attentive to us and our disabled child, insuring that our table accommodated us all easily. He made way and moved chairs etc to give plenty of room.Service was quick. Coffee was good as was the food. Childrens menu items were small and one of my kids ordered a second breakfast. Many menu options available. I was totally delighted by the bananas and nuts on my pancakes, so good.We will be sure to come back next time.
Extremely disrespectful staff. We went there yesterday to have breakfast. It was not crowded and maybe 5-6 tables open. They told us to put our name on a list because they needed to clean up a bit so we would have a wait. We did so and then they told us to wait outside. The temperature was 24 degrees. We said really? And she responded yes - see ya!!No doubt we left and went to a different place where we had a great experience and meal.
liked the big cup of coffee they bring. came out fairly fast. food is adequate.
Thought of trying out this place for brunch. First, they took almost 30 minutes to get our order out. We just ordered a chicken plain sandwich with lettuce ( they gave me on leaf of lettuce …the chicken was smaller than the bun.My husband had bacon cheese burger with fries. Burger was good only detail was one small slice of tomato and onion, but the fries were under cooked, it was obvious the oil was way too hot that just cooked (almost to the burn side the outside, they were raw in the inside. When your order takes almost 30 minutes, you spect at least the food to be cook correctly.
Food was great and large portions. Price is great and staff are friendly! Awesome meal! We come here every year and eat at Sammys
I love coming here when I visit Rehoboth Beach. We typically eat breakfast and lunch here...service is always good and very fast.Prices are extremely good....it would be hard pressed to find better prices !Give Sammys a try ...you wont be disappointed.
Food is decent but the service was not good. I ordered a full eggs benedict breakfast. When I asked for a half order of waffles on the side I was told they could not give me childrens size. Even though I ordered a full adult breakfast they said they could not but said they have half order French toast. Fine. At the time there were maybe 6 full tables and three servers working yet I saw the French toast sitting under the lamp for 10 minutes. When I got my breakfast it was cold. The hollandaise sauce was cold as well as the FT and my husbands breakfast but we only sent back the benedict. When the server returned with it warmed up she said it was cold because it had lump crab and its supposed to be serves cold. I didnt appreciate the chef telling me that I dont know when food sat too long. They did warm up the sauce and it was tasty but by then the whole experience was a loss. My husband mentioned something to the owner when leaving but he could only give lip service and the same comment as the chef. No offer to refund anything or get it right next time. We wont be returning.
Food was as expected, serving size was good. Unsweetened ice tea was flavorless and when I requested another drink the owner seemed offended, saying "I just made it myself." but he did give me another drink at no charge.
We stopped in for lunch. My husbands turkey club sandwich with fries was OK. But I ordered the soup of the day (chicken noodleand a tossed salad. The first bite of celery within the soup tasted like fish, the carrot had an odd, chewy texture, and there was mostly just oily broth in the bowl. For my salad, the server brought out a plate of plain greens. When I questioned why there were no toppings (tomato, cheese, croutons, etcas described on the menu, she made an excuse about she just does the greens and the chef adds the other ingredients. She took it back and later returned with the added ingredients as described in the menu. But most of the greens were limp and slimy, much like what youd find on the bottom an aquarium, so I didnt eat it and asked that it be removed from our bill. She did take it off.
First time here. Breakfast. My wife ordered scrambled eggs with peppers and onions and asked that the peppers and onions be cooked well before scrambled. Not cooked hardly at all. Mention that to the waitress her response was, "I told them sometimes they just dont do it.". NOT "Im so sorry let me send this back to the kitchen" - like you would expect in a normal restaurant. My wife also asked for Canadian bacon and that never came. Waitress said she was confused. Very unsatisfying experience. Do not expect to return.
Great beach diner experience. We went three times while we were in town. Everything from the Fast Breakfast and pancakes to the waffles and quick service was excellent. Super friendly owner and staff and very convenient to our hotel.
Food ok ( for the price), friendly staff, HOWEVER, we waited an hour for our food and saw others arrive, eat, pay and leave in that time. I said to server " we were here way before them" and was told " the kitchen has a funny system" . Unsatisfactory. . Prepared breakfasts sit.under the heat lamps on counter for ages.
We came in for breakfast and I ordered a glass of water, which came with no ice and had large pieces of dirt floating in the bottom. I ordered the eggs Benedict and was confused when I bit into my poached egg and got several pieces of eggshell. My waitress seemed sympathetic and did take the meal off the bill but I will not be returning.
Has gluten free french toast, pancakes and waffles. As a celiac it was hard to choose but it was great
Very disappointing experience here. First we waited roughly 20 minutes to get our drinks. And we only got them because I flagged our waitress down. When our meal finally came, my creamed chipped beef had a sour taste to it, I’m guessing sour milk was used. I then replaced it with a bagel lightly toasted that came out burnt. The other 3 people I came with their meals were luke warm. I would not recommend this establishment at all
We eat breakfast here everytime we are in Rehoboth and have enjoyed many breakfasts there over the years. The staff is always friendly, the food is very good, great price, fast service, and clean. Cant wait for my next visit there!🌞😋
Great breakfast location. Cant speak for other meals but the options for breakfast were great and it is served all day. The customized omelette was very good. Coffee was hot and service was quick. Price was reasonable especially for beach locations which tend to run higher. Close enough from the boardwalk and public parking areas. Highly recommend.
We were tired and wanted a good meal day 2 of our vacation...Wow did we find the right spot. Food was GREAT as well as the service..it was beautiful and clean..we ordered the greek salad a calzone and the lemon cake!! We have decided to go back tomorrow for dinner since the experience was just off the chart..you will not go wrong going here!!
Today was our first time at Sammy’s, we went in for breakfast. It’s nice, laid back atmosphere and food was great. I built my own omelette with asparagus, bacon, sausage and cheese, it was VERY good. You get a good amount of food and prices are fair. My husband got the seafood and cheese omelette and it also looked and tasted delicious. We will definitely be back again.
Pros: Service was fast and friendly. Breakfast sausage was flavorful and the bacon was crispy. A variety of syrups on the table. Family friendly with a kids menu, highchairs, and booster seats. Big windows provide lots of light. Reasonably priced for a touristy area - $30 for two adults and a child.Cons: Waffle was a bit doughy, not crisp on the outside. Hash browns and scrambled eggs were underseasoned. Metered street parking only.
Simple diner with inexpensive, all-day breakfast. I ordered an omelette with sausage, cheese, and peppers with a side of hash browns and it was very good. Nice portion size, not too large, and it was about $10 total including the orange juice. Great find for a quick meal.
Placed conveniently next to Brighton Suites, Sammys Kitchen is the best breakfast place in Rehoboth. We came here with our hopes high after making a tremendous mistake by eating at Royal Treat down the street. We walked in feeling immediately at home. The waitresses were so friendly and outgoing! They were the best waitresses Ive met. Talking to them makes me feel like Ive known them my whole life, thats how amazing they were! The kids were very happy with the chocolate chip funny face pancakes and the chicken tenders, the eggs were amazing, and the hot chocolates and coffees are the best in the whole city. We were so happy here we got some really cute souvenir shirts to take home. I love this place! They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and are open 24 hours a day. It isnt always filled up, but it just depends on time of day. Dont let that pull you away. Next time Im in town, This will be my first stop! I suggest you come here, I love it SO MUCH! Best place ever!
