Sam's Club in Boone County

It was calm clean and quiet, a pleasant shopping experience. Sundays are much busier but I stick with my previous statement. No change. Its not Christmas yet so everyone still in a good mood

The place was extremely busy. However the cashiers were awesome and efficient.

Im a new member. Shopping on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. My wife and I both found electric carts. We filled the baskets both full. We bought a new small appliance, clothing, lots of food items etc. We spent under $450. We really love this store. Keep up the good work Sams Club.

Dealt with an extremely arrogant worker today. The app would not load the barcode so I could not do self check out. So he proceeds to tell me about how he has worked there for 30 years and this has never happened to him before.Try and be kind to people. It cost nothing.

Yesterday was a football game day, all lines were open, and all had at least 4 customers waiting in each line. I got in the line with folks who had 1 or 2 items, but they didnt know how to checkout. The manager, there on a game day, at 4:00 went and GRACIOUSLY helped them check out so they would stop holding up the lines. Other lines with people with 20 items checked out 4 people in the time it took one fellow to figure out how to insert his card in the reader. The associate tried to help him and he waived her off, refusing help. After 5 minutes he was willing for help and I waived the manager over to help him. He accepted the managers help. And thankfully, only a few minutes later i checked out. The manager has helped me before when I couldnt find something. They had the items but they hadnt been put out on the floor. He arranged for the stockers to put the items out within 15 minutes so u could get my stuff and go. Apparently he really does care and when its busy, doesnt sit in his office and just wait for problems.

Got what I needed and everything went smoothly. Just too many other people today.

Great parking, clean club, and great prices and apps to use on your phone.

I really do love to go to the store prices are going up you can almost add $2 to whatever you paid the last time you were there even if it was a week ago

Shelley at customer service desk was rude and not helpful. I stepped to the counter after waiting in line and said I need a new card (lost my old one). She turned her back and got a tag, placed a tag on an item on the counter and then placed that item in a cart. She returned without any explanation of her rudeness and then asked to see my ID. I showed her my ID and she said I had to take it out of my wallet so she could scan it. I held it up for her to scan and she refused to scan it. She then asked for my phone number and my old account showed up. I told her that was not the active account and she rolled her eyes. I asked for a manager and explained the situation. They were able to scan my ID and issue another card in less than 5 seconds. Wish we had a Costco to avoid the Walmart corporation all together. Walmart can always be counted on to disappoint!

Is a good place to buy basic foods but some food are out of stock like corned beef is not available. I hope they can improve more to make it better. :)

Busy and clustered.Usually not such a cluster but always busy.They didnt have all the registers open and had one register crash which caused some of the cluster.We do the club pickup now days so its easier.

Great employees, always helpful and a clean store.

My moms a member and we love going every few months to restock snacks for the little kids. Great prices if you live near one.

The club is always clean, the staff are nice and the manager is always engaging with members. The manager gives great information and has a great attitude. The plus membership is worth it and I enjoy being a member of this sams club.

My boys an I were shopping using scan and go.. and nice employee let us scan a code for 10$ off .. easy in and out..* went again for our wedding:supper fast an easy!

Love Sams, so much selection and great prices.

No gas station.Many Sams Clubs have gas stations.This location is lacking that.

Getting back to normal and team members are getting more helpful. Things are normal and still a good place to shop. Prices seem to be going up but theres a war 🤔. Everything is good.

Waiting in a long line 20 customers deep to EXIT the store is unacceptable. Period.

I stopped by earlier today and brought in a car battery to be checked. I didn’t realize that the tire and auto section had just closed but the young man very kindly and quickly checked my battery. It had gone bad (as I expectedand I was able to purchase a new one to take home. He didn’t have to stay late and I really appreciated his help and excellent customer service! Thank you!!!

Its a Sams Club so what do you say. Its well stocked. Its always neat and clean....and busy.

Definitely not a good experience! I wanted to get my tires rotated and balanced (I wasnt a memberso my brother sent me a pic of his card (he just moved to FloridaTo start with, they told me pictures arent valid anymore and he either had to be there with me, I had to have a physical copy of the card, or he could add me on his membership. But he had to be there to add me on🤦🏼‍♂️ So they said the only thing I could basically do was sign up for a membership, so I went and paid $45 for a membership then an additional $15 for a tire balance fee. So I decided while I waited id look around and do a little shopping. Literally as Im pulling my card out to complete the transaction at the register. It was sams club calling me saying they couldnt rotate my tires because they were "to bald". Ill admit they definitely need rotated but theres still plenty of tread on them to do so. So I explained its a front wheel drive so Im not tripping about the worn tires going on the back, thats why I need it done so bad. They went on to say that it doesnt meet their safety requirements and they arent gonna rotthem. Then they didnt give any of my money back. Maybe the $15. But like I said. In my opinion, theres still plenty of tread on the tires to rotate them. So the least they couldve done is stepped outside for literally 5 seconds and tell me that before I had to spend $45 on a membership for nothing. And then not even 3 days later, today. They started 4th of July sale where it only costs $8 to become a member🙄🤦🏼‍♂️

Its a very nice Sams Club. No complaints. I would suggest using their scan and go app and bypass the lines. They can get long on the weekends even with quite a few cashiers working.

As always, the inside of Sams was clean and safe. There were no items in the floors that would otherwise leave the place a danger to walk around. The customer service was excellent and the store was stocked. There is always a large selection of items to choose from. This is a highly recommended stop in Columbia Missouri.

Scan and Go - best thing since sliced bread. I know the layout and can go in with my list, scan and go, and then even have time to peruse the specialty items in just a few minutes. Whats not to love? One thing, I hope they keep Mikes Popcorn in stock because it is the best!!

Store was busy due to potential arrival of snowstorm. Once again, out of apple juice. No V-8 in small cans. Small wait for rotisserie chicken, as did many other people, but worth the wait; hot & fresh. People were friendly, especially cashier.

I always have a pleasant experience! They have great prices and an incredible variety as well as plenty of space to keep your distance as you shop! I especially love their food! It is delicious and priced great!

The service and employees are great but it takes forever to go in and out and out I dont go there anymore because it took me forever even when nobody was there. First the employees touch all of my food with no gloves and it only bothers me because the people infront of me were coughing all over their food then he scared it and put it in their cart then touched mine. But the worst part is they have to rescan everything in your cart for theft problems. One of the main reasons I dont like to go there .

It takes forever to get out of the store even when they aren’t busy. The stupidest part is that you have to wait in a line for 30minutes to get checked out then you have to wait in another line to get your receipt scanned so they know you didn’t steal. So 2 employees touch your food and it takes 30 minutes to get one item. This is why I go else where.

Love Sams Club found every thing I need. They have the best meat, veggies and frozen foods. I got some great gifts for Christmas. Thanks

Sams club is what you would expect. This location is clean, well stocked and organized. Fairly good size location and well laid out floor plan. The location lets you flow through with frozen and fresh products as your last stop before checkout.

We were there shortly after noon and as would be expected they were pretty well out of most paper goods. There was a two or three big packages of toilet paper still but no regular paper towels other than dispenser type. Other than that everything else seem to be fairly well in stock. We were able to get the things we really were there for.

The people are always friendly there,I havent been to Sams since the start of covid. I went in a week or so early to get a cake ordered for my daughters birthday. I went to pick it up on her birthday after I got off work, and the cake was cracked down the middle and the editable decel was all bubbled up. There was no time to get another one. I have never had any problems with sams bakery before. I really hope they can fix that problem.

If you go be prepared for limit of 1 on toilet paper and they only carry their brand. Ground beef is $4.24 a pound now apparently. The smell from their big refrigerators was enough to make me instantly nauseous. The upside is that their employees are always great.

Good luck trying to buy alcohol there if you look kinda young. They’ll harass you about it and if you have a kid with you they’ll refuse and act like you’re trying to buy it for them. I completely get trying to prevent people from buying alcohol for minors, but when you just can’t buy alcohol because there is a minor with you at all, it gets ridiculous. I could tell the older lady from the beginning was trying to have problems. “I need to see your IDs, ALL of you!!!”Some older people have problems with alcohol or even just with younger people, but don’t project that onto your customers. I’m surprised they didn’t ID my infant daughter too…

Great prices! Though I will say that you can get energy drinks waaaaay cheaper on Amazon, though - depending on your situation (whether you have to travel to Sams Club from 30 miles away- it might be more convenient to get them from Sams anyway.If youre looking for a way to buy In bulk, and dont have access to buy bulk from the companies directly, Sams Club is your go-to for sure.

The selection is absolutely marvelous and the prices are still as low if not lower than they were during covid. The best news though is they actually have toilet paper in stock where quite a few other Sams do not!

They need more organic produce. They also have issues keeping things in stock. Some pluses include the places usually clean and most of the employees are polite.

Stopped in today to get a hotdog and drink. Unlike our Jefferson City Sams Club, I was asked to present my card before entering. No problem, I was surprised, since the last couple of times I went into the CoMo store, I wasnt asked for one, either.The cash registers have dividers, still, but face masks were a rare sight on anyone but staff. This doesnt bother me a bit, but some folks might not like it. The snack bar served my snack quickly, the hotdog was, as usual, excellent. The condiments are all single-serve portions, now. Unlike my last visit to Jeff City, there were tables available for sitting to eat, which is a big thumbs-up from me. Fountain drink was great, too, plenty of selection.

We visited today the store in columbia, we never been there before. Our experience was horrible by all means. We had some questions about the membership. The lady at the customer support was so rude and talked to us in a very inappropriate and condescending tone as if we are begging her. My husband and I are physicians. I just needed someone treating me respectfully and explain to me my options as we kindly do to our patients. We left immediately as she didn’t even bother talking to us, we demanded to see the manager who didnt seem to be surprised as if this is normal. Bunch of red flags and horrible customer service. We will never go back there. If there was zero rating I would definitely choose it.

I enjoy shopping at Sams Club. They carry my favorite products and have friendly staff. Also, the store is always clean and well-stocked. Only thing I can say negative is that there needs to be more than one employee scanning people out the door at times. I think I stand in line longer to leave the store then what I do at checkout. Other than that its a fantastic place.

Worst Sams club I have ever been to in the country! Went in there the other day no water no toilet paper no paper towels no Kleenex hardly anything when it comes to essential items. Went to a Sams club in a different state that store was so well stocked and packed I got everything I needed with zero issues. Whoever runs this store you need a reality check or find a different profession because you suck at this one.

Made in America Tough Box makes GREAT tubs! I compared these to the very similar ones available at Home Depot and much prefer these from Sams. I bought 100 of them to store Christmas lights for my professional lighting business. Only $8 each, CHEAP since they easily outlast the ridiculously delicate, waste of money normal tubs. Yellow tops snap on tight and ar tough! These stack great and stay strong even stacked 6-7 high filled with heavy mini lights and extension cords, even when stored inside a HOT 40ft shipping container! Normal tubs ALL deformed and squished to destruction under the same conditions the year before! Made in America, spoke with the manufacturers, good people! Go get some! 🐴🍻🍻

The associates here are always very friendly and helpful, quick to aid customers with nearly anything. The selection of goods is s fantastic as you can get almost anything here. The building itself is clean and well maintained, and its rare we have had issues with the self checkouts.

Great store! The people were super and so many great deals going on. Very professional and knowledgeable staff members with samples and great products, really had their people faces on today. Pretty impressed.
