Spectacular place with lots of information about sealife. Fantastic main aquarium. Beautiful specimens
Brilliant! My kid absolutely loved it!
Very Crowded! The schedule is not respected. The aquariums are dirty and the polar bear is unhappy. They have a great freshwater section, thats the good news!
Sad to see the animals isolated in small inclosures. All of the mammals extremely depressed. Also the place seems more interested in selling souvenirs than anything else.
Excellent place for children’s and adults who is a lot of animals
Its an top sight in Sao Paulo. Recently, they add a new section with animals from Africa, Oceania and Antarctica. My son loves it, and we have a really good time there with our relatives.
In this Aquarium you will be able to see Polar Bear, Kangaroos, Bats, Shark, Amazonian Manatee, Seal, Sting Ray & many other amazing Gods creatures 😻🌹 MUST VISIT !!!!
It is a disney atraction at the wet n wild orlando or a truly amazing aquarium that only Sao Paulo is capable to do.. very good place to enjoy with children... very good experience
Very nice place in São Paulo, you must visit if you are in São Paulo
The aquarium is really big and has different features. Youll also find land animals. The mermaid area cost an addtion R$20, but it is worth it.I went with a friend and we loved it.
It’s a exciting place for family. Here is aquarium but we can enjoy seeing a lot of animals, too.
Nice place to visit with many educational exhibits for children.
It was my first visit ti the Aquarium and I am very well impressed with it based on what I am used to here. I am local, so I know a few attractions and this is a lot better than others
Wide space. Lot of attractions. Very good to take your children.
Really great! Awesome attraction. Did not expect to see so many cool animals and well kept. Animals I never imagined to see in Brazil
Great place to spend time with family, kids... I just guess the price is a little expansive. But, one more time is a great place to visit. I liked it.
This is a great place to take the family and spend a few hours. The variety of animal is unique for an aquarium. You start out with the sea animals then there is a short ride (extra cost of R$15 per riderthrough a Jurassic type area with animatronic dinosaurs. It was fun. Then you continue with more sea animals. You will then go through a stretch of world wildlife, such as Africa, Australia, Indonesia, etc. You will end with the seals and a polar bear couple. There are eateries and gift shops throughout. We really enjoyed our visit here. As of this writing it was R$35 for secure parking, R$100 per adult and R$70 for children 2-12.
My absolute favorite aquarium to visit in the whole world! There is a beautiful theme throughout, from shipwreck to lush tropics to tundra. My abbbbsoluuuute facorite is the polar bears! What makes this aquarium my favorite is the polarbear enclosure. Its massive, plenty of walking and swimming space, the roof top can open to let them sun bathe when it isnt too hot. And the bears look very well fed and taken care of, they are clearly very happy in Brazil! The male put on quite a fun show for us playing and swimming all over.
Must visit location at Sao Paulo. It is even more interesting then the Zoo.There is huge variety of sea-life and also has well structured zoo parts with different animals from different regions of the world
Other than being a nice aquatic creatures, the aquarium hosts a large variety of animals from all different origins and kinds. I visited there with my girlfriend and we had a great time.Highly recommended to all ages, especially for families even if the kids vary from very young to considerably older
Although its an aquarium..one can find a whole lot of animals inside it. Theme based park having set up from different countries around the world..the main attraction is the mermaid here
A very good place to visit with family, friends or alone; The space is clean and you can watch both marine and land animals natives from different countries very closely!Very good cost-benefit ratio during the promotion days (about R$ 60,00).P.S.: It is only allowed to take photos without flash, and the animals will be grateful ;)
Amazing place.... Well maintained. Various species of fishes sea animals for all around the world. Most interesting to can experience Pinguins, Kangaroos, Sea Lion, Sharks and many more. One more interesting and amazing thing you can discover is a real mermaid... One of the staff represents herself as a Memeaid which was very professional. You can take your phones and cameras for no charges just do not use flash on animals while taking the pictures. The staff is very friendly and kind. It has restaurants cafeteria water drinking places Restrooms and baby changing places. The most surprising thing was a microwave in baby space area so the parents can bring homemade food or milk and make it hot... Highly recommended for family with Kids. Also Recommended for people with Special Needs. Aquarium also has shops to buy souvenirs. Located in Sao Paluo near Alto do Ipiranga Metro station. Must visit
The place was perfect for kids .. Its big aquarium
A very nice and informative aquarium and great extention with non fish animals.
We had a great time! Little surprise at the end - mermaid saying hello and sending bubble kisses was sweet! 🐠all in all, worth the money we spent. Be aware that you can‘t pay with credit card and some parts are not so easy to access with pram.
Much more than an aquarium. The space is divided representing the natural habitat of the animals. Some accessibility issues for wheelchairs. Snack bar and restaurant inside. Certainly the polar bears are the high point. The mermaid is a must for kids. Definitely a good place to visit in São Paulo.
Public zoo in the middle of the city. Id like to see more sharks, even more tanks. Its expensive, but a great ride with your children.
Great place! My son loved it! A lot of animals (expected rsbut very well distributed the path that you take its like a history passing by ages and continents! Very well planned!
This is a MUST do in Sao Paulo. It was beautiful. The Aquarium is dead smack in the middle of a residential neighborhood but dont be thrown off by that. Its really nice inside and they take care of the animals very well.
It was fun! Also it was interesting looking at Jehovah Gods creations. I noticed that children were also excited and were running to see everything. A great day for the family or single people. Go and see!
Very good place to visit and more than just aquatic animals its like taking a trip around the world
Worth the visit. 2-3hrs is enough to complete all the attractions
Accessibility is an issue. No access from exit to parking lot for wheelchairs and strollers. You have to leave the precinct and get back in around the block. The first area was very crowded, making it nearly impossible to get around on a stroller.A/C barely works, making it an uncomfortable experience in the SP summer heat in January.Although it was not at full capacity, the food court felt crammed, with wooden tables and seat taking blocking the aisle. That meant that visitors had to push seats to make their way to the exit.Variety of fish and marine mammals is interesting, but the crowd makes it impossible to take in the experience to the fullest. Information on species could be more widely and easily available. The premises becomes more spacious, though, once you get to the animals of the world section. However, all animals looked exhausted with the 35C heat at noon. The steep price tag of R$60 for a child of 2 and R$90 for an adult makes it an overpriced attraction for Brazilian standards. The R$ 35 reais parking was bare, having no shelter. Food and souvenirs are similarly overpriced.I would suggest arriving early on a Monday so as to avoid the crowds and enjoy the promotional price.
I found this venue world class, I have noticed some people mentioning the admission prices being quite high, it is a small price to p away when you see the fish and mammals are very well cared for, they enjoy spacious clean enclosures that represent their natural environment. The venue is very interesting and educational and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and highly recommend a visit se it. Tourist from Australia
We have been to many aquariums, and this one was quite depressing. Its possible we came at a bad hour, but it seemed the animals were not well taken care of. The larger fish were not very active and the penguin exhibit had a horrible contraption that visitors could buzz to mimic penguin sounds. They seemed to be sleeping in protest. Additionally their were no shows for the sea lions or penguins.
It was a great visit and a great surprise to see the mermaids. Also the highlight was definitely the polar bears! A great day for the whole family!
Aquarium is not the best way to describe this venue. It does have have several species from salt and fresh water. But it also have several land animals, specially from Africa and Australia. Theres an entire section dedicated to Australia, with, of course Kangurus. And from Africa there are even Lemurs. The place has a restaurant and two other dining places that serves sandwiches. The main attraction are the two polar bears that can be seen on their land level and also underwater at a underground level. There is a paid parking lot and its close to Ipiranga Museum.
Biggest tourist trap in São Paulo. The fish tanks were somewhat ok, but the animal cages were very depressing. Animals looked sad and stressed, especially the polar bear at the end of the Aquarium who did not stop moving back and forth the whole 10 minutes I was there.
Beautiful place to go with family, friends to see marine life!!!
Expensive for its size. They will charge full price (over R$80for adults and half price for kids & toddlers. The aquarium is nice, but a bit small, and there are parts that could be used for more aquariums but are being used for zoo-like cages for kangaroos & etc. If I wanted to see land animals, theres a zoo nearby.
Great place, child loves this place, mermaid is beautiful!
Took my 9yo sister there and she loved it! It’s a big place, so go early if you want to see everything calmly because they also close early (7pm). It is a mix of an aquarium and a zoo so you see plenty of different animals.
Dont take the baby stroller with you as its really narrow in the first part. Otherwise the animals looked well taken care of. Best to visit on a week day snd certainly avoid weekends and holidays.
Great place, beautiful animals kept captive in good conditions
A small place on the outside, but huge on the inside. A very interesting collection of animals. They pay a lot of attention to the decoration of the environment, it is well done and culturally immersive. Mondays are half price. They dont have feeding shows or interaction with animals, but its nice to see them well treated.
Surprising and beautiful. Good place for kids. Not only fishes abd marine fauna but also monkeys, kangaroos and a couple of white Polar bears!I liked it, is clean and everybody is kind.Nevertheless there are too many bars and shops not separated from the visitors way. And watch out: if you do not go there with car you will have to cross all the aquarium back to exit (!). My suggestion is to just put an elevator that carries all the people out....
