The service rep, Joe, was friendly and helpful and didnt talk down to me.
Less than pleased with my service experience. Truck was in for warranty work due to excessive use of oil. Was told they had to order parts and would be in within 2-5 business days. Had to call myself after waiting past that time period to ask about the parts which were in fact in. Scheduled time to drop off truck to have warranty work done and asked to get oil changed and tires rotated, look over vehicle etc. Was told by Roger that the work being completed would include an oil change and it would “be on GM and work would take 2-3 days” truck was in the shop 4 business days 5 if you want to count Saturday(does not count Sunday). I’m understanding that some jobs take longer than expected. Picked up my truck on Monday realized that the oil had not been changed. Called dealer back to verify and employee showed no remorse. Waited until Tuesday called back service manager and he was apologetic about it being looked over. Took truck in this morning to have work not completed, done and was now charged for the oil changed that was “on GM” I don’t care that I had to pay for an oil change it’s the principal that I was misinformed about it. Please train your service advisors to speak accurate information to your customers.
Work began on scheduled time and was completed promptly. Service manager explained potential cause for occasional vibration which will be addressed at the 50k mileage service. Staff were friendly and attentive.
Ralph the service guy was great, the facilities were clean, it would be nice if they had a small sitting area outside.
George was amazing to work with. I had a bad situation and he made everything work out and got me my new dream car! I am very grateful that he could help me.
Got my vehicle in quickly, serviced in a reasonable timeframe, and out quickly. Comfortable waiting area.
Ken and George were very helpful and fun to work with while purchasing my new car.
Everyone we dealt with there was nice and very professional. We had a very good experience.
everyone is so helpful. I do tell people how much I like having my vehicles serviced at Saures.
Ralph was great, the part came in sooner than expected, he kept me informed every step of the way. I will definitely come back for all of my service needs.
I went in to get an estimate since Amazon driver hit my parked truck. And the guy was extremely rude and was only helping “real customers “. I will take my money elsewhere. And unless you want to be treated like garbage, you should too.
My family has been purchasing vehicles from Sauers Buick GMC since 2001 and we have never had a negative experience. Jim made my first car buying experience easy. And I will definitely recommend Sauers to anyone who is looking for a new vehicle.
Routine oil change and breaks checked. Roger gave me options for my breaks! He always treats me with respect and makes sure I understand what needs done. Roger is my go to guy in the service department.
I was very pleased how fast the total buying process went. In my past car buying experiences I have spent many hours finalizing the deal. Felt like we were in and out in no time. Will definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family. Thanks again
Great experience and professional staff. Roger (in serviceis my guy hands down.
Great communication, work was quick and they took our concerns seriously and made a quick turn around.
Loved the customer service on phone and service at car dealer.
They really wanted to help me with my first warranty claim but they got through the diagnostics and found new problems I didnt know about. Great place to take your buick service desk people are great they tried to help as well.
We bought a lot of cars from them and good service.

We had a great experience. George was very professional and helpful. We couldn’t be happier with our vehicle. Thanks so much! The Paveza Family
Customer service was excellent! Dropped my car off for an oil change and it was done within a couple of hours!
The salesmans name is George. This man was phenomenal. Hands down the best salesman we have ever had. I would by vehicles more often if George was the salesman.
Of the service department it is all about trust. Sauers has been worthy and until they do otherwise I will come here.
As always. fast reliable service. Only one question. did I get the points reward discounts? This system is a bit hard to use.George Dobie.
Really good experience buying a car. It was fast and easy. Also very good experience with the service department.
After Bosaks couldnt get my car in until the middle of April, Sauers said 2 days. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Not very costly efficient, but then again, nobody else is either in todays market.
George was absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable! He always kept me updated on our process and had my best interest in mind!
Jim was a great salesman. I felt he was straight up with me, and Ken was great too. I felt they really tried to get me the best deal and car
I went in for an airbag recall for my Sons Silverado Truck. Come to find out he had brought it in May. I asked them to do an oil change while I was there. Then my Son gets the truck from me and the air bag service light was on. I called back. They said he would have to pay $199 to have it checked. He doesnt want to spend that much money to get it checked.
I just wanted to give these guys a shout out… Dropped off my truck to the body shop in order to have a rhino liner installed yesterday. Picked it up today and it looks fantastic. Pricing was fair and everyone I spoke to was very friendly and straightforward. I would easily recommend this service to anyone I know and they will be my first call for any work in the future.
It has been a year since I first had Sauers check my intermittent wiper process. On 10-26-20, it cost me $340.57 for a rain sensor which did not fix the problem. On 5-11-21, I was told that the screws holding the equipment were loose so they were tightened. That did not fix the problem. On 10-20-21, it was worked on again which cost me $99. On 10-22-21, I paid $126.55 for a new switch, and it STILL doesnt work. I am thoroughly upset about this. Why cant they fix it?
JP in the service department went above and beyond to help us with the ins and outs of our used car warranty. He stayed in touch consistently throughout the repair process. When we need another vehicle, Sauers will be our first stop.
Communication is a problem here. I had my Yukon in for engine mounts. The vehicle was in the shop or on the property for four days awaiting parts and I NEVER got an update on the status of the repair. The only information I did get was by me calling for updates. I ended up getting my auto back and taking it to another shop for the repair.Another time I had my Cadillac SRX in for service (recentlyand tried calling to arrange paying my bill and taking my auto home and no one answered the phone. When there was an answer it was a secretary who tried to get Service to pick up. After three tries of her attempts I hung up and just drove to the shop to pay the bill and get my auto back.---Communication at this place is a problem--- Most likely due to poor upper management.
George is a great salesman. He’s not too pushy and will jump through hoops to help you out. John is excellent with financial assistance, and Roger is the nicest guy to help put the finishing touches on a deal. Great team.
The issue I had with my 2018 GMC Terrain was addressed promptly by Roger in the service Dept. He was very helpful and friendly. A very customer orientated employee. My issue was found and corrected in a very timely fashion. Kim has a great team and I recommend them to everyone I talk to for new or used cars and service. Great people at Sauers.
This is the best dealership I have ever been to, very kind & professional staff and very reasonable prices, the minivan I purchased was listed below KKB value.Great people to work with here, especially Derrick, he was a pleasure to work with, very patient with us. Theres no pressure to purchase anything, vehicle or any warranties. All options are given but not pressured into anything you dont want to buy. I have been to many different dealerships over the years & never had such a pleasant experience as I did here. I would recommend Sauers to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. Ask for Derrick .
Derrick was awesome. I called him about a certain minivan. He answered my questions honestly. It was for my daughter that was looking for her business. When we arrived he greeted us waith a smile. Never tried to push her into something else. I would recommend him to anyone. Great job Derrick!
My 18 year old daughter and her friend from Illinois, on their way to camp in Michigan experienced car trouble. I called Sauers and spoke with Joe and explained the situation. Joe couldnt have been more understanding, promptly got the car in for inspection, determined the problem, called me with a very fair estimate, facilitated the repair and handled the transaction over the phone and got them back on the road in about 2 hours time! Iwouhighly recommend their service team anytime and really appreciate the care they afforded my daughter as a concerned dad!
George was a fine salesman. Love mom and pop dealers, none of the pressure and BS you get from chains. Process was smooth as silk. Great experience with a so far beautiful truck. My Colorado was priced better than many others in the area with 30-40k miles more. Very pleased...would recommend anyone stop in for a vehicle. Nice job!
The worst purchasing decision Ive ever made occurred at Sauers. I purchased a 2005 GMC Sierra 2500 HD in early 2020. A check engine light conveniently popped up on the truck after my two hour drive home (from Sauers). A flashing check engine light appeared at highway speeds later the same day. For the last 1.5 years, Ive spent my time and hard earned money trying to fix these two issues. After various tests and parts replaced, the repair shop Im working with still cant find the root cause. In all my research on the issue, Ive come to find out that another repair shop tried to fix these exact issues on my truck a couple months before the vehicle was sold to Sauers (and then to meand also couldnt find the issue. I purchased a defective truck at a premium price that had a serious issue (unbeknownst to me at time of purchase due to lack of check engine light). Extremely dissatisfied customer here.
Went in to get my muffler looked at for rattling. Told the person the rattling is coming from inside the muffler. When I got to the dealership I told them that I dont want it being serviced unless its covered by warranty. I leave, and get a call 4 hours later stating that the muffler isnt covered under warranty and itll cost $1,350 for a new one (Ridiculous). I tell them no thanks and that Ill shop around. Get to the shop and they tell me I owe them $140. So basically I payed them $140 for them to tell me what I already knew (baffles bad inside muffler). I got the response that "there isnt a way of knowing whats covered until we test whats wrong". Im in disbelief, considering everything I had told them. I didnt know they couldnt call the place and say "hey, is the exhaust system covered with this extended insurance plan?". Such a waste of money and time!
AJ is the best!! He has made our last couple of car buying experiences good ones!! He always goes above and beyond to make sure his customer is happy!! And everyone else at Sauers have always been super nice and helpful!
Not a good experience at all buying a used car from here recently. Don’t make the mistake I made, take it to a mechanic and have it checked out. Don’t rely on their 27 point inspection or whatever they call it. They replaced one strut, took it to a shop for steering problem I didn’t notice on the test drive and other strut was bad, also they said they did a front end alignment, the shop said either one wasn’t done or they didn’t do a good job, thin tread on tires made it through their “inspection” (which I knew when I bought it), oil change was way over I just found out, (would think something so basic would be included in their inspection), started hearing lifter noise at start up a couple weeks after I bought it, the salesman showed me a couple strange marks on the dash and I just found out it’s from the airbags being deployed. They told me it’s not been in any big accidents and the salesman has like 50 years experience so I would think he would know what those spots were in the dash right around the airbags. I never thought Of that but found out it was. So that’s real nice I bought a vehicle that the air bags deployed on previously and didn’t know and wasn’t told about. So Iv put well over $1000 in it and I have noisy lifters. I will never step foot on that lot again. The salesman assured me that their inspection was thorough. I will always share this with anyone looking for a car
Very easy to deal with. Excellent customer service from test drive to signing paperwork. Jim explained all the options very well and made us fell very welcomed.Sauers made this purchase very pleasurable and at a very good price. Much better then my past experiences with other dealers. We will recommend Sauers to all our friends and family.
Worked with me to buy a 2021 2500 AT4 that is beautiful. They were straight forward, direct, and their fees are less than area dealers. Even brought the truck to me. Talked with the owner who was very friendly and honest. Good deal!
Friendly family run store with a low pressure and thoughtful sales and service department.
I was searching for a specific car make, model, and color. I found it at Sauers, and Im so glad I did. The process couldnt have been easier. Everyone I dealt with was incredibly nice and professional. Im in a different state, and I was able to complete the entire buying process over email and the phone. The finance department even found me a loan with better interest than the preappoval from my bank I was planning to use.Plus, they were able to deliver my new car to me. Im thrilled with my new car, and I cant get over how easy the whole process was.Ive definitely had times in the past sitting in dealerships for hours, dealing with rude sales people, having certain cars pushed, getting back and forth answers, etc. This was the opposite of that and just an overall great experience. Id recommend Sauers to anyone. Thanks again!!!
Rhonda the controller doesn’t make calls back because she knows I’m an upset and mad customer due to the service department not being honest and acting on what they say their about, but she’ll respond publicly to reviews on here and lie straight through her teeth so that’s why I’m leaving this review. Not to mention how the service department makes stuff up to get more money to “fix” your vehicle when those things weren’t really fixed on it. A different dealer was surprised after I told them some stuff that was “fixed” because they didn’t appear to be new parts.I’ve had my vehicle in there multiple times (4 times to be exactto be serviced because of an issue with my car chugging, engine light coming on, and acting up in general. They’ve had my car for a total of 2 months all together combined with all the days they’ve had it and each time I’ve come in to pick up my “fixed” car, it was never fixed when they assured me it was and then proceeded to ask me for payment. Now I totally understand paying for things is necessary because nothing in life is free but here I am, after 4 times of my car being “fixed”, my car does the same thing and I’m out almost a grand worth of repairs that didn’t need done. I then took it to autozone the same day I picked it up after being “fixed” and they were able to get the codes my car was giving and what would you know?!?! IT WAS GIVING THE SAME CODES THAT MY CAR HAS BEEN THROWING SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THEM “FIXING” MY CAR! They told me this last time that they figured out what the problem was and then they fixed it, but when I get there to pick up my car, they suddenly changed their minds and said no, it’s still acting up so give us a little more time. Then they call two days later and say “we know your car acted up on us after fixing what we thought was the problem and told you to wait on picking it up, but no we decided that even though you car acted up after we fixed what we thought was needed, it was fluke and your car is fine. No other work is needed.”Then I take it to a different dealership after Brad the service manager and Joe wanted to lie to me straight to my face about all the stuff with my car. Not to mention they won’t directly tell me that the new damage to my car wasn’t from them. There’s damage to my vehicle that was never there until I picked it up from them. They claim to “look at cameras” but the time is never Convenient for them to do so. I will not ever tell someone this place is a good place to get their car serviced. ABSOLUTELY NOT.
I take my Chevy here for all of the scheduled maintenance. The Service Dept. is fantastic. They explain everything to me first and if something comes up while they are working on it they ask me first before just doing it. An extra plus is the waiting room. It is very comfortable. They keep it stocked with excellent coffee and tea. I highly recommend Sauers for repairs and purchasing new vehicles!
