Never really had any issues with them until now. They stopped my food stamps because I missed a telephone appointment that I did not know I had a d there is no call from them in my call logs and no voicemail either. I didnt even get a renewal packet in the mail until AFTER I submitted my renewal online which I had a hard time figuring out how to do. But, it was done before the end of the previous month which is when it was due. I live with my 13yr old son and my mom who has Alzheimers and now we are pretty much out of food. A friend helped us with some. I tried to mail in the form for a fair hearing but the mail delivery person did not take my mail. Dont know why. But, how can they cut my food stamps when I have a child and a senior citizen with a major disability here??!! That should be illegal! And like I said, my call logs show they never called me for this appointment but, yet its my fault... Makes no sense and now we are hungry and having to use what little money we have. I dont care if I go hungry but, I cannot let my son be hungry. And my mom and are have always been separate households but, her name is all of a sudden on my household for food stamps. So, did she lose hers too? I have no clue. But, this is a terrible thing to do to someone who has a child. And there are no food pantries here either

My case worker is rude and ignorant and doesn’t listen she asking for information that is none of her concern she got the information she wanted and is still asking for more now on my compass account online it says closed/rejected but on my compass app it says accepted and that’s for my snap benefits now I have a ten month old daughter and technically you cannot deny a child nor ask personal questions that are not any of your business especially if you’re asking who a person is because it is none of your business especially after I said I do not know it doesn’t mean continue to ask who the person is and also asking for information about my odd job when I specifically said that I am not allowed near him

I just wanted to leave a quick review on how amazing my case worker Kerry is! I’ve been applying for years to get help with food stamps etc. I’ve always been denied even when I read online the income guidelines and fit the budget, I’ve had all very nasty case workers in county’s- Lehigh, and carbon (carbon being the worstbut this time my case worker was friendly from the beginning she went above and beyond she was fast acting on my case for me she helped me in one of my hardest times. I thanked her today on the phone for everything she’s done for me and she almost seemed shocked when I thanked her. This lady truly cares about people and I’m so grateful for everything she’s done for my family In the last few weeks. I wanted to leave a positive review for her also because she 100% deserves it and to be recognized. Thank you so much for everything again you truly helped my family so much and I’m very appreciative for getting some help.-Victoria Jones
