I have been working with Melissa for several years now for sleep and hormonal issues. She is so easy to talk to and really helps me understand my bloodwork. She takes the time to explain the results every 6 months and makes recommendations based on the data and how I am feeling. Because I have a high deductible on my insurance and choose self-pay , the staff have been great in helping me negotiate the best price for my bloodwork. They have changed labs a few times in order to help keep costs down for self-pay patients.

I spent two hours filling out the paperwork that was required before scheduling an appointment. I gave the office over a week before I contacted them to find out when I would be called. The lady who answered the phone, Jessica I believe is her name, was pretty rude when I called asking why I hadn’t heard from anyone and when I could get an appointment. She said she had 30 papers and people in front of me waiting to be contacted. She made me feel stupid that I was even calling to dare ask when I could get an appointment. It’s been over a month now and still yet to hear from anyone. Would not recommend at all based on first impressions. Very disappointed I spent all that time to fill out my medical history for absolutely nothing!

Melissa is the best medical provider Ive ever had. She is thoughtful, conscientious, and thorough in all aspects of her practice. Shes figured out a couple medical issues that Ive been struggling with for years when the other dozen doctors I visited couldnt figure out. I highly recommend her.

Freedom Healthcare practices great Covid-19 safety procedures but still makes the environment friendly and welcoming.Dr Nelson treats the patient as a person, and uses the lab work as a guide to help pathe the path to a healthier you! So many other doctors tell (women specifically"youre getting old deal with it!" Dr Nelson helps break down your blood work eliminating and diagnosising causes for symptoms that so many just file under "getting old"My quality of life has improved just in the first 3 months, although were still navigating and adjusting medications I feel seen, heard and truly supported through this clinic. I highly recommend Dr Nelson and his staff.

I’ve never been to a doctor who spent so much time explaining in such detail my medical health. Dr Nelson went over my lab work with me and made sure that I understood what my body was going through. He explained everything in a way that made such great sense. He drew pictures even! He never once made me feel like he was rushing and he truly made me feel like he cares about my health issues. PATIENTS BEWARE of billing pitfalls, and deceit from office staff.Freedom healthcare used to be good. Now they arent even billing patient health insurances, sending patient their statements or bills, theyre just sending the patient accounts directly to collections without even contacting their patients first.We have made SEVERAL attempts to get them to bill our health insurance, they refuse, we have attempted to call them, several times, they wont call us back.Terrible client communication. Anyone you can get ahold of they cant help you, they will just redirect you to someone else, who wont help.**Patient is my husband, (one star, because you cant use 0 stars)**

Having worked in Healthcare in the past I would say I’m a pretty picky person when it comes to Dr’s offices and staff. I’m blown away by Dr Nelson’s staff and Dr Nelson himself. They’re so friendly, customer service oriented, made me feel like I was apart of the family. Not to mention Dr Nelson was so patient in taking the time to explain my labs to me and how everything worked. His bed side manner was awesome, and he is extremely thorough. He listened to what I had to say and took that into account on top of what my labs were telling him. I’m a believer ha! I can’t say enough good things honestly. Melissa Lonneker is the best! So genuine and down to earth yet extremely knowledgeable and thorough. Hard to find such comprehensive and quality care these days.
