Security Public Storage in Stanislaus County

The man in the office is fairly nice and easy to speak with and get along with the storage space is reasonably priced compared to most places however we have had issues with office staff lying to their supervisor in the office. Had an experience that we were unable to get out using the gate code we called and asked if they would let us out the woman said to walk in the office and show id I asked if it was going to be an issue that my id was expired and she stated yes and that I’d have to call the other person on unit for the code. I said I tried he’s at work and isn’t answering she then tried to say she couldn’t help me so I said you can take my money but you can’t give me the information to the unit I’m paying for and that I’d be taking my business elsewhere. At this point she decided to open the gate however ended up lying to her supervisor saying she was going to give me the code when she stated she wasn’t going to because of my expired id. So I would just recommend being careful with certain office staff if you choose this facility. If it wasn’t for this experience I would give it a five star rating.

I rent a unit from this place for many years now and never had an issue until now. Recently my daughter and I rented a Uhaul van thru them and the older gentleman that helped us went over the contract with us and said it needed to be due back there next day before 6pm or we will be charged. Well Uhaul contacted us stating its suppose to be due at 3:30 and wheres the vehicle at and why havent we returned it. So I contacted this place here and the lady I spoke to was extremely rude and told me to read the contract, well first off, he didnt give me a copy nor did he email me one. Second he went over this soo call contract verbally, and said it needed to be back before 6pm filled with the same amount of gas in it when it was given to us. Lastly I am being charged for his false communication. Being a customer for so long and the gentleman there pretty much scammed us. The lady literally did not want to hear any of what I had to say and said call Uhaul if you have an issue. I understandu its not an actual Uhaul company but to misinform a contract is very unprofessional. Way to go on customer service!!

We’ve only been a couple of times to the storage business and they have been above and beyond helpful friendly I would definitely recommend this business! Hey maybe this will earn me a discount lol Well I guess it wouldn’t hurt to ask!

I have to say this place offer top notch service. My customer service rep Steve was so supportive and helpful and got me and my delivery drivers above and beyond the service that we needed. It felt like he cared, and wanted to take care of my situation as if it were his own.kudos to this place for hiring the right team. I highly recommend this place.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I loved that I was able to get a unit (right awayat such a clean facility, with hours that make accessing my unit very convenient. The customer service I received was excellent!

Went w my father n law to grab a storage, the front desk receptionist was very friendly, although i didnt catch her name. A well kept place and decently priced for what we got. Alarm systems in all the rooms and they def work.

I was already using a storage here and looking to upsize due to a family member moving in. The staff made my move easy and gave me a discount for the first few months.

After calling around what felt like every last storage in Modesto, I finally decided to go with Security Public Storage because, not only is this the cheapest by size, but the customer service is extraordinary! Incredibly kind and super informative and attentive! They go around checking the units periodically for security purposes and even check to make sure the locks are all locked. Its barely my first month here, but I plan to stay here because Steve and his partners amazingly kind presence!

It was fast and easy to sign up. The unit was clean. The only problem is remembering which way to turn to get out if you didnt bring the map first time.

Steve, the general manager and amazing personal security team, is one of the friendliest, upfront and wholesome individual Ive done business with in a very long time. He lets you know everything you need to know and then some, not to mention the great deal he gave me when I first came into the facility!

Compared to other storages this place has great customer service.. very professional .. very helpful and informative with any questions i had .. would definitely recommend this place

Came in to pick up my keys to the storage unit after I had called and payed for a 10x10 unit over the phone with relative ease and was greeted by Steve who gladly showed me to my storage unit and around the lot which made my move go smoothly.

Been a customer here for most of my adult life. Same experience and fees are still growing and outrageous. Cant wait to get out of a storage unit.

Great customer service and open on Sundays, she didnt have the size I was looking for at her site but she was able to locate me one that ended up being closer to me and she also locked in the special price, I am very happy with my storage and service I received!

The staff is exceptionally friendly, courteous,and accomodating. They are very helpful and go out of their way to make your experience with them very reassuring and I know for me moving is never remotely enjoyable but security public storage were great and made at least one aspect of moving less stressful and I appreciate their efforts to ensure my belongings are safe and secure.

I love this place . The people working there are very friendly ,and helpful. Ive been there for a few months its clean and theres always someone there if you need help. Its close to where I live . I know its just storage but I feel comfortable when Im there and when I leave I dont get that funny feeling in my tummy. He walked me through everything thoroughly and was very polite as well as professional. I felt completely assured that my belongings would be kept safe and secure. As an antique dealer it’s of utmost importance to know that I can be guaranteed security. Would definitely recommend this business to anyone.

We were welcomed by Steven the property manager who directed us to the unit. He had cleaned up the unit to make it ready for our arrival. He showed where the exit keypad was too. Very friendly, helpful & made it pleasant. Thank you!

The owner of this place really goes out of his way to make sure you’re taken care of. On of the nicest customer service experiences I’ve ever had. The prices are competitive and they don’t even charge to cut the lock if you happen to lose a key! I highly recommend this place if you’re in need of a storage unit.

This is the second time we needed a storage unit at the last moment and didnt hesitate to give our business to SPS on Woodland again. Thankfully they had the size we needed at the price we needed. We are impressed by the personal customer service, cleanliness, and attention each unit is given. We received a security call when we inadvertently locked the unit incorrectly one evening. Its nice to know people still do business like this.

We been very happy with security Public storage for the past 6 months we have had our belongings and all important items stored away with the facility. They are very secured, cameras in every aisle, friendly with great customer service. No hidden fees straight forward about amounts late fees etc. overall we are very happy!!!

I am very happy with this public storage facility. They have made it a pleasant stay with their hard work and patience. When in the wrong, they softly corrected me and kept going. They were not harsh as compared to my prior experience. I am still here due to their kindness, hospitality, and great deals. Steve is an amazing help. I feel my cherished items are 110% safe and cared about. I feel my feelings matter here and they take the time to help unlike many. Ive dealt with creeps in storage facilities before, this is a breathe of fresh air every time I need to do anything around the unit or bill no hassles. Was great 20 years ago and still is today! Super friendly and helpful employees! Large, small, & in between units. All are super clean and easy to use but are very very much SECURITY conscious, before you enter the gate until you leave! Great cameras all over!

Very friendly staff, very patient, affordable prices I hsve been renting the storage for a long time and there has never been a problem I would recommend to go to them before waisting your time with another company. THEY ARE AWESOME!

They have to be the most patient people in the world! I am usually pretty computer savvy, but what the heck its Friday and Angela has been on the phone with me for over 20 minutes helping me set up my account, find discounts and pay my bill! They are awesome!

The staff in the front office are very friendly and make leasing a unit very easy. I would recommend this to anyone who cares about the security of their storage unit at a reasonable price. Cameras and non-stop surveillance make me feel safe about putting my possessions away in my unit. They go above and beyond to make sure the customer is satisfied.

I can say they really go out for their customers. When I needed a storage with little notice they did all they could to get me one. They make sure that all their customers are satisfied. Customer service is friendly and helpful! The facility is clean and well maintained. I have been renting a mid-size storage unit for 5-6 months. Id recommend this particular location for the free moving truck option since not all other locations have this consideration.

Great customer service, super friendly staff, and one of the cleanest storage places I have been to. I just moved back to Modesto from Fresno, and I must say that I am very glad to have found such an awesome place to store all my belongings. Definitely recommend! And the hours are so flexible!

This location has been great! Ive used it and my parents before me. I have always had a great experience and the staff is friendly and helpful : The late fees and time you have to pay by are reasonable. Ive had the best experience here! : Better than anywhere else in the Valley or the Bay. Way BETTER than "Public Storage" in Berkeley!!! They were awful. lol. This SPS is way better than or any other storage facility from Bay Area to the Central Valley and back! : )

Ryan and Tina do a great job. Location is clean, organized, secure and well run.We had just relocated to the Modesto area and were very happy to have found this facility. We were given a discount and able to use their little moving van to move our stuff into the clean storage unit. Use of the truck was a valuable perk for us as we only have small cars.I feel that our belongings are safe and secure

My experience with security public storage has always been excellent. The people are friendly and very helpful in all aspects. I would and have recommended security public storage to a lot of people. I have never had a single problem with them. They are your best bet for secure storage

I have to say, this facility is one of the nicest there is. And talk about great customer service! Mike, the manager, is one cool dude. My parents have had storage there since I was a kid and even after my mother passed away, my Pops continued on there and now I brought my business there. Security is great, the office is nice, the grounds are clean and the prices are competitive. I have nothing negative to say. It was a great experience. I am definitely going to refer people I know.
