kristina is great. i went in today and she not only helped me find everything i needed but recommend great products. she’s enthusiastic, has a great vibe and ultimately makes u feel very comfortable in store . i 100% reccomend her to any makeup beginners. she is great🫶🏼

Terrible service - i came in for a new base i was told a rep would be with me next . I ended up waiting over 15 minutes. Rep who saw me ignored my request and started recommending random skincare products. I kept explaining that is not what I was looking for and she told me that is her specialty. When i went back to the manger and asked to see someone who can actually help me with what i requested she told me it would be a long wait since she needs 4 people on the register. Never again

A few days ago I took my daughter here to buy makeup. She is young and inexperienced in buying makeup and in hindsight it was probably not a good idea for her dad to accompany her, but what the heck…As she was looking around she was approached by one of the staff. I later found out Kristina was her name.I’m not sure what was said as I was standing away from them but suddenly my daughter grabbed my arm and said “let’s go”. I asked her what happened but all she said was the woman was rude and condescending and she felt uncomfortable and wanted to leave. I offered to go back with her but she begged me not to.I don’t know what was said but when I told my wife she said “why go there” and that place has “a reputation”. I am over it now and my daughter seems fine but just wanted to share my frustration

I had such a great experience today with Aloydia! She was very mindful of my skin needs (I have eczema), and extremely knowledgeable about skincare, makeup, and fragrance! She introduced me to some amazing new products and my skin looks great!

Was in the store today browsing when I was approached by someone nice asking if I needed anything. I said no thanks I’m just browsing. Normally I buy all my makeup online because I just order the same things. Today I went in hesitant because of the over bearing feeling I normally get when I walk in to Sephora. Welp I was right.. minutes after, I was approached by another lady, then that same lady that greeted me when I walked in, and then by a new person. 3 people!! I responded politely to all 3. What put me over the edge was the FOURTH person to come up to me after asking me if I needed anything and my response was the same as to all the other girls ‘no thanks I’m just looking’. She stared at me confused and was asking me questions. All I wanted to do was shop!!! If I needed help I would find someone. I put my stuff down that I had every intention on buying and just ordered from Nordstrom. Never again! My gut feeling was right. Please learn customer service, being on top of someone who politely declined assistance (not once but 4 timesmakes them very uncomfortable!

I love to shop there. Girls are super friendly and helpful. I love the birthday gifts and the insider club. They have makeup classes by an makeup artist for VIP mermbers, also you get free makeup over with a 50 dollars purchase.

I had a horrible experience here today and left the store in tears. I came in looking to try a tinted moisturizer and Debbie helped me. When I decided it just didnt work for me Debbie took it upon herself to "fix" my skin. As she was layering 4 different products to hide my red cheeks, she insulted my complexion multiple times (including telling me a story about how she just couldnt help someone with skin like mine on their wedding day), questioned my medical history, and then ridiculed me about the medication I am on for acne. She assumed my doctor was a man because "only a man would prescribe that", told me I couldnt have children for two years because I was on it, and told me it is just a temporary fix and that I needed to try something else. All of those statement are 100% false. Not only was it extremely hurtful to have someone insult your face, she is telling people not to listen to medical professionals when she clearly has no idea what she is talking about. Would NOT recommend.

I had a very nice experience here this morning 💖 Very helpful staff member helped me find a good black lipstick, which I was absolutely thrilled about!!! I wish I remembered her name to give her a shoutout but she was very polite and had very cool blue hair I believe. I also just liked the dim, calm, quiet, surrounded by makeup atmosphere in here I experienced earlier, it was a very nice way to destress before I moved on to work at another store in the mall. I will definitely have to stop back sometime when I have more time to browse!!

This is one of the best Sephora’s I have been to. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. Danielle is my favorite go-to person because she has a really strong knowledge base about makeup and is always ready to help with a smile. I will definitely keep coming back to her for all my makeup needs!

My experience with the freestanding store was disappointing, rude & snobby staff. Couldnt get anyone to help color match me because they were too busy talking amongst themselves & on cell phones. Will be giving my business to Ulta going forward.

What a lovely experience! Linda helped out in the perfume Dept and Nadia assisted us with our skincare needs. They were both extremely knowledgeable, had no problem assisting us with every question we had, and never left us high and dry, as many Sephora employees frequently do.Further, every employee we came into contact with was friendly and attentive.So happy my fianceé and I decided to come shop!

I had the worst experience in my life, make up artist wasn’t professional, it took him four attempts to put eye lashes on, my eyes ware covered in glue, I looked like a PANDA. I wish I can post the picture.P.S make up artist Kevin from MAC (Macy’sis so much better.Will never do it again, even if I have a free make up!!!!

Sephora store In nj this is the only one I love , Menlo Park Mall one is the worst one,two time already a white girl should a manager rude to me ,and willow book mall one is not good also ,one time a black girl cut line ,a Sephora employees ,is a black girl walking this way then I told her ,but she didn’t help ,just tell the cashier check me and the one who cat line in same time ,i free very rude and unhelpful ,she should tell the one who cat line go to the right way for check out ,not with me together ,because still have another people stay on line for check 。short hill mall everything still ok , this Sephora in freehold mall is the best service one since I came from NY 4years ago ,5years ago I am new from China ,because of ny Sephora let me feels I am a Asian didn’t get rude ,so I became a member ,and went Sephora twice a week ,I love them ,many stories give me good face and nicely talk 。 so in my mind Sephora is a good company 。and keep loving Sephora ,telling many friends 。 so freehold location is nicest is NJ I had 。and the last time helping me the girl was very nice to me ,let me feel like I am back to NY Sephora 。I don’t know her name ,shes not white not black not ,but I think u guys know who helps me to return ,$600+products and bought them again ,and extra more $1000+ products 3days ago ,for a owner who don’t want to helps customers to price match take a20% off for my old products and extra more 1000$+ products business ,so they didn’t do 20% off for me ,so I didn’t buy another 1k more products ,and let me feels like u look down on me and rude . But I am very happy last time the girl nicely face to me ,let me feel s u didn’t look down on Asian , thank you !!!😊😊😊,very much !!!! 。

Sadly as someone who just moved to the area and a former Sephora employee and someone who advocates for the brand I can say that this particular location is just disappointing.The store is small, but the issue is staff. Whoever their MOD or Store Director is definitelyyyyy does not give-off warm and fuzzies, personally I thought she was a bit unfriendly (imho).I had only ONE person ask me if I needed assistance . The return process was slow, , the cash-wrap is understaffed (which is weird because cast members were chatting throughout the store), I could go on ... but I won’t . I left feeling really unhappy. My recommendation, shop online or go to another Location.

I just had the best makeup application and lesson from Chelsea. She was an amazing teacher and was very knowledgeable with contouring and highlighting and the best brushes to use. Great experience !

Not sure why this store is rated so low, but every time I have been here I was treated well! When I was into heavily into makeup, the staff all knew me personally and would go out of their way to help me. I like this Sephora!

I waited 10 minutes before someone finally helped me, and it was only because I just gave up and found someone to help. I was going to do 1 star, but the woman who finally helped was pretty helpful, honest, and polite. However, the cashier obviously did not want to be there and was so rude. Decent store but Sephora normally has such great customer service and this one is severely lacking

Most of the staff at this location give off a racist vibe. I was not asked if I needed anything when i first walked in and genuinely needed help. However, when this white family walked in they were greeted and asked if they needed anything. So like a normal customer, I WALKED OUT. Had it not being for me needing my Fenty makeup badly i wouldnt have went back. Even my second trip in the store the same day was horrible. I asked a staff for help on matching the makeup to my skin and i was given an attitude. All I will say is thank God for the black manager or supervisor there, she came to my rescue.

I needed help picking out a new foundation color and went out of my way to find a sales associate to help me (usually sephora employees are extremely attentive). After swatching a few colors on my neck she told me the color I was and proceeded to have a conversation with another employee and focused more on getting that employee a box of foundation then helping me. She then walked away from me and I waited for her to come back. When she didnt I again asked her to help me picking out matchstixs from Rihannas new beauty line, which then the sales associate told me to start from the darkest color and just pick which one I felt most comfortable with. I have never walked into a sephora and had someone tell me to basically figure it out myself. I ended up buying the products to come home and open them and find them already used. I will never go back to this sephora again. This sephora wasnt half as busy as others I have been to and the employees could care less to help customers out.

The manager is an idiot & the staff all have a serious attitude problem. They all should be fired & replaced by new staff. I now only go to Sephora in NYC 14th street union Sq there so nice & helpful.

My wife was in store today and was completely ignored by all staff they were too busy talking to each other. Even when trying to get help nobody could pry themselves away from their conversation. Our Edison store is much better.

There is no help ! And when you try to get your own product then all of sudden someone creeps behind you to ask you if you need help with the absolute worst attitude ever. And who ever picks the phone up there has a bad attitude as well. Management and/or team needs to be re trained or need a whole new team over all.
