Even though the staff was very nice and helpful they are not stocked with basically anything. I was looking for a foundation to match my skin tone and returned the one I bought online that was way too light. Their policy states that they cannot refund unless it is a JCPenney card if you do not exchange. I wanted to exchange my foundation I bought from Sephora online for one that would match my skin tone however they were not stocked with The color that would match me. The staff told me they don’t have the color that would match me and that they would just have to give me a JCPenney card. I will never shop at Sephora again because of this and I have been a long time customer of them (9 yearsi’m switching to Ulta because they are always stocked on what I want and are great about exchanges and returns. Sephora has absolutely no options to choose from and their return policy is a joke. I won’t shop online or in store I am now switching to Ulta and telling my friends and family to save the headache and just shop at Ulta for make up and skin care products.

Ive been helped here amazing before, awsome knowledgeable ladies this was a couplecyears ago. The last 6 months to a year, they say ask Id u have questions, yet say idk, with no other suggestions or help. They seam cold and distant, I hate going here, lately they make me feel like an inconvenience. Literally dread it if I have to buy or return something, the only real sephora is 30 min away! 2 stars os only for the gals who helped me a couple years ago....

Right before I came to this Sephora I had been to the Ulta Beauty and was asked to leave because my mask wasn’t up to their standards. So I took my business elsewhere and was welcome very nicely at Sephora, they also complimented me on my mask that I had on and helped me find what I was looking for. I was very pleased with their service and will make them my go to place from now on.

Was just there getting my birthday gift and the employees was so amazing all 3 ladies was so kind helpful and made my daughters day.

I was a regular at Riverdale location, the women were amazing. Now there is new people who know nothing, never have what iI need in stock. I am so disappointed, these people are immature and rude. I expect jc penney Sephora will be closing soon, as people will turn to Ulta where there more professional. What a joke Sephora has become. Not my choice of make up store anymore. Hello Ulta and Mac.

The absolute worst customer service. Called to ask if they had a product in stock and they put me on hold for 10 min finally when I called back, the girl acted like she had no idea what I was talking about. Then told me they did not have the product. They are always out of everything! Layton Sephora is the way to go. I will not be wasting my time with this location anymore!

Theyre always understaffed so it takes forever to check out and dont even try to ask a question because they wont know. They never give free samples unless you specifically ask. There is a guy there and hes really nice and good at color matching but if hes not there youre out of luck. Build a free standing store closer please because this one is terrible!!!

Always spend more than I should here... but the staff is so friendly and helpful. I did most of my Xmas shopping here, and they had great suggestions and recommendations. Plus they always throw in extra free samples at check out!

Went there yesterday, and I believe Ricardo (?helped me out with looking for a foundation. Oh my god, he was amazing. He was so helpful, he NAILED the color, and he was quick and sweet and helpful.

Purchased the perfume sampler at Christmas from this location. I lost the card that you use to receive a full size perfume. Went in to the store with all the samples and my receipt to get a full size bottle and they told me there was nothing that could be done. At all. The girl working told me to come back another day when a manager would be there. I came back the day she told me and the manager wouldnt do anything for me either. I know its my fault I lost the card but, I just feel like this was the worst customer service ever. This combined with them never having products I want in stock I will never be going there again!

Love the store, went in for my first time, and they made sure they answered my questions, gave me samples, and were honest if I should try a product rather than one Id mentioned.

Very clean store, good selection, pretty helpful staff; but theyre REALLY reluctant to give samples.
