Contacted Jeff around 07.30 in the morning when my tenants had reported overnight a problem with the Front door lock, causing it to jam and denying them entry (thankfully theyd been able to enter via the back entrance). Jeff was kind, polite and confident that hed be able to fix the problem. He slotted me in for an appointment for an assessment of the issue at 6pm the same day which I thought was excellent. He arrived on time, managed to fix the problem. He replaced the multipoint gearbox in the UPVC door which was broken beyond repair. He also replaced the cylinder and supplied new sets of keys for all the residents and a spare for me. The tenants were very complimentary about his service, they said he worked promptly and was a very kind and polite tradesman. Id not hesitate to recommend Jeff for his professionalism and service.

I was locked in because the handle was jammed on a upvc door. Jeff arrived in 20 mins, got the door open, found and fixed the immediate problem on the spot (broken door mechanism), then fixed the underlying cause (the door was hanging too low- all within 30 mins, and on a Sunday! I had upvc patio doors that would not unlock. I chose Seymour locksmiths as they were local and there was no call out charge. He was at my house within 20 minutes and had the doors open within 5 minutes. Needless to say I was staggered! We had spent hours trying the handles up and down, injected solvents in the lock. A new locking system was called for. This was sorted without any fuss the following day as new parts were required. A thoroughly professional job with no drama and all at a very reasonable price . Keep businesses local . You won’t regret it.

Provided competitive quote within one day over weekend (this was not an urgent enquiry), which unlike many competitors was itemised between materials and labour. Agreed time to do changes (new door locks, window locks and garage lock). Turned up on time and all work looks to be done to a good standard. Clean and tidy, with enough spare keys, also offered some practical advice on home security. Payment by card after work was good as saved me having to do BACS payment online like with most services. Rather than booking a local locksmith, we booked through 24/7 locksmithsQuoted 49 plus locks on top. We lost a key which fitted 3 doors.They arrived and started to fix 1 door, than they provided the quote £550!! For 3 barels. Shocked and surprised, phoned Seymour who confirmed that we were being ripped off. Outstanding Work!I was quoted an astonomical figure from the manufacturers of an Emergency exit door to have the handle replaced, I was also told it would take around 4 weeks for the job to be carried out.I contacted Jeff who managed to source a suitable handle and fit it within 48 hours, at a fraction of the cost and time.
