Shadow Hills Dental Greg in Fremont County

I’m a bit perplexed as to some of the reviews I’ve read. A couple years ago I woke up in excruciating pain. I didn’t have a dentist at the time so I called several dentists none of which would see me on short notice. Except for Shadow Hills. I was in that morning. And have been going there since. He is a good doctor.

We called this office on behalf of a mutual patient to request their records. The patient had their implants placed by this doctor 30 years ago, and we are now fabricating a new lower denture for this patient and need to know the correct parts to order. The woman who answered the phone basically said "So this patient wants to close their chart? That will be $10 and they can have whatever they want".Ive been in the dental industry for 5 years now and I have never spoken to an office that operates like this. Very rude, unprofessional, and I have NEVER heard of an office charging someone for their own medical records!!

I read the reviews the night before my appointment, and I was a bit nervous to be seen here... My husband had a dental emergency a couple months ago, and the entire way home he couldnt stop saying that he didnt feel a thing, and that he really liked the dentist he saw. I decided to go off of my husbands experience. Whatever negative reviews on the internet must have been addressed, because I literally had to have 4 top front teeth fixed, from a previous dental appointment somewhere else, and havent been able to smile comfortably, and have had low self esteem for a few years, and when the doctor handed me the mirror and I smiled, instantly, I felt like me again. I was/am so happy, and havent stopped smiling since I left. I will go back here with no doubts or apprehension for any and all my future dental needs. Thank You isnt a good enough word... But all the same, Thank You Shadow Hills Dentistry.... Amazing how an hour appointment for teeth helped with my self confidence and esteem.

I despise this office. Dr. Micheli is the most rude,egotistical, cruel person to his staff. Him and his mother(who is clearly mentally unfit to be workingIve witnessed her SCREAMING at an employee in front of everyone,causing her to quit. Ive first hand witnessed Greg insulting his employees, and mock his patients. Do not give this man your money.

Great dentist and great staff! Fast and pain free. Only MEDICAID dentist around. YES HE DOES USE PROPER INFECTION CONTROL TECHNIQUES. I would give Shadow Hills 10 Stars if I could could!!!

everything was great at first and we had a great plan put together. but almost every time i went in, i came out with lots of pain. one time my entire face was swollen for a week straight and i had to miss work. i needed lots of work done and had to get a few crowns. he would put a temporary on, have me wait 3 weeks, and then put the permanent on. have me wait another 3 weeks, and repeat the process. i’d gone to Dr. Michelli for about 6 months, along with my whole family. my mother was also in lots of pain. and then he became unprofessional and privately messaged my dad, made things personal and then told him that he would no longer take me and my mom. i still had a temporary crown on. we ended up going to Jake Beus at Main Street Dental. he got me 6 temporary crowns in one day, and can get my permanents on as soon as I’d like. i do NOT recommend this dentist. Michelle has an awful temper, is mean to his girls he works with, and is extremely unprofessional. he did root canals that were unnecessary, and now i have very sensitive teeth. the same thing happened to my mother as well. he did lots of unnecessary work. and he said very hurtful things that made me feel as if it was my fault. please do not go here

Claimed to have done a root canal on a tooth it got infected a month later. Went to another dentist he showed me the xray. Nothing in the root canal. He has multiple actions on his license by DORA. Beware.

Worst dentist ever! Rude, saw him go from room to room without changing gloves and forgot a big piece of my tooth and says it isnt there! I had a bad infection and tried to tell his mother receptionist and she didnt believe me! Had to go somewhere else and they gave me antibiotics. He shouldnt be in practice! He is horribly rude and cruel to his assistant using vulgarity and insulting her making her cry right in front of me! He is the absolute worst! DONT GO HERE!

i Went to drop off a resume an I was speaking to the front office lady an she right off the bat was rude to me. But then the doctor walked up asked me some questions an asked me to show up the following day around 9am. So I did I shadowed his dental assistant who was very nice. The doctor didn’t have me clock in till I was there almost 2 hrs. By the end of the day I found out what doctor michelli is an I have to say he is very rude an hate full an I never got went back there again an I was never paid for the whole day I worked.

The dentist is the most egotistical, inconsiderate, self centered, short tempered individual that I’ve ever come across in my life. He has no patience when it comes for the people who work for him, he’s rude and outspoken, same goes for his mother, the lady at the front desk (Ada.The doctor doesn’t follow the correct sanitary rules and expectations, he likes to do things ‘his way’ which isn’t the correct way of doing things.! I wouldn’t recommend going to him, he talks down on his employees and treats them like they are ‘stupid’ which I’ve repeatedly herd him say....it’s So sad & unfortunate, this man doesn’t deserve your money!

Gross! This guy does not even wash his hands between patients! The place smells like strong incense which was completely overbearing! The Dr. Was not thorough at all. Run far away from this place!!

My two boys and I went in today for cleanings and a broken tooth. It was a great experience...the doctor is very kind to both teenagers and myself. He went through the treatment plans without judgement and with great honesty. My broken tooth was treated on the spot with follow-ups scheduled. The dentist is focused and fast. There was no pain at all.

Dont go to this place go anywhere but to this place . this guys has his wife working there she doesnt feel to respect anyone.she is very rude I dont know how this doctor put up with here attitude.

I went Shadow Hills today. They are very affordable and explained all my opinions clearly. Also nice and clean. Felt comfortable the whole time. Would recommend them for sure

Greg saved my teeth! He is the best,nicest, most down to earth dentists Ive ever been to! When I first went to shadow hills most of my teeth were trapping food in between from other dentists shoddy work! ,Greg even fixed a filling done wrong from dr. Hall. Greg has fixed and crowned multiple fillings ect. about 7 crowns . He even did an implant and a bone graph to save a tooth. My teeth all feel great and have no problems thanks to Greg .I appreciate all the great work hes done to keep my teeth in my mouthOther dentists have an astronomical charge for deep cleaning,but Greg does it for free! preventative maintenance. Please please everyone listen and do not go to this doctor!!! Just look him up on Dora and you will see. He is very rude and very unclean, please please just go somewhere else. If I could give zero stars I would, the way he treats his assistants and the way he does his work is mind-blowing. And lets not forget to tell everyone that he rewashes is gloves to use them again....

Never even made it in to be seen, the lady at the front desk is a nightmare, literally yelled at me to get my feet off the stone and steel table, after she told me I was lying about both my name and my birthday. Doctor talks to his staff like slaves , stupid ones. Add to that the fact that my wife, in colossal pain, called to get an appointment, and on two separate occasions, was put on their "emergency list" and never recieved a call back.

I was seduced by the low prices offered here. The quality of the work reflects cheap: its fast, rude, careless. I got a crown in January that cracked and split in February. This dentist doesnt seem to wash his hands when he changes mouths. He likes to chastise his staff when patients are in the room. His manner is crass and sarcastic. I wouldnt go back if he replaced this crown for free - I dont trust this office.

I called this morning to reschedule my appointment not being able to make it due to the long drive and the terrible weather conditions I was rudely told your appointment is cancelled and when I tried to ask about rescheduling another appointment I was immediately hung up on. I called back just to be told by the Doctor that I can call back another time and that I can wait till sometime in March and then hung up on again. This was very unprofessional hanging up on clients is rude first of all and refusing to reschedule is bad business I say this as the owner of Colorado Handyman a business owner myself.I would never treat a client this way and it is sad to see the lack of respect they have for themselves and their buisness. I did not appreciate being treated this way after being a patient of his for quiet some time. I definitely would say that for anyone looking into a good dentist dont waste your time with these rude people.

My wife broke a tooth and we called to see if we can get in, the lady i talked to told me that she would call my wife and let her know when she can get in. Over 24hrs later she call and left a message that they had an opening but then made a comment in a rude tone that she needed ro answer her phone. I guess we will go to a different dentist.

Made an appointment this Thursday and they called back saying they wouldnt be able to see me til the 24th of May, its the 2nd now!! I said it was an emergency and they said they would call me back in a few minutes but it took them 5 hours to call back and tell me to go to the emergency room... My husband also got seen and the doctor made racist remarks. He thought he was a dumb, Mexican construction worker. Please...

I am scared to death of dentists. Greg was recommended by 2 different co-workers. He is awesome. He did 3 pain free crowns for me!

The whole staff was very nice And professional. I had horrible teeth pain,i made an appointment and got in the same day. The dentist was very gentle and my visit was quick, and he made sure I was fully numb before pulling my tooth. The hygienist and dentist were both very professional, nice and helpful. I would recommend this dentist to everyone. And if anyone knows dentistry then they know cleaning teeth with the drill like the previous person said, is the correct way to clean teeth. I disagree with any negative comment, the staff and my experience here was wonderful! :)

Due to new insurance, Shadow Hills was the only dentist I could go to in Canon City. The dentist cleaned the plaque from my teeth, rather than a hygienist, which I found odd. He did not do this through the normal method of using various hand picks to scrap the plaque away. Instead, he used some sort of drill bit to get up into your gums, which was somewhat painful and caused a lot of gum bleeding. Upon completion, he stated that I had 2 locations that collect meat when I eat and that he could fix them. I said maybe later. The 2 locations were not much of a problem at the time. A simple flossing would take care of it. After seeing this HACK, I now have 4 locations that collect steak when I eat, and I now have to use toothpicks for the first time in my life, to get the large chunks of meat out before I floss. If I use floss first, it just compacts the meat in their and will not come out. I could not be more unhappy with this person and feel that he should not be practicing dentistry. DO NOT GO HERE!!!
