Shawnee Motel in Bedford County

Quaint accommodations, Innkeepers are very cordial and welcoming. Room was spotless. Great value for the price.

My hubs, 3 kids and I were stranded on a Sunday eve with a broke down van. We were 2 hours from where we came and about 2 hours from home. All tow places were closed. Our roadside assistance wasnt working well and we had no way of getting to a hotel. We had been on the side of the road for 2 hours at this point. I called the hotel asking for a vacancy (they didand I asked if they knew of a ride service to get us there and I was bawling. Bill said he would pick us up, and he did...two trips! My hubs was able to get a ride home late that night to get our car and he came back by morning. Bill checked on the kids and I too, in the morning. Our vehicle was towed that morning as well.We chatted a bit with Bill and his daughter thru our stay. Our vehicle was fixed late Tuesday and we were able to get it that eve. My hubs took our younger 2 (our special needs foster childrenhome that night because they had to be at school the next morning. Our older son and I stayed that night at the motel so we can pack and leave the next day.When we checked out, our bill was taken care of!! Bill and his family said that what we do for the kids is amazing.I think what Bill and his family did was amazing.I also want to mention that the market next door was a God send too as they let us use a buggy Sunday eve to take supplies back to our room and got us the number for Myers garage who did our work. And a shout to Myers too. Very reasonably priced for what we needed.

Nice little motel, beds are harder than what Im used too and bathroom is a little small for a big guy such as myself

Immaculate room, excellent mattress, quiet even on the weekend. Think youll pay a fortune for such a gem? Think again!!!!

My favorite pitstop. The people who run it are really sweet. Its clean, well kept, cheap, and near lots of beautiful scenery and historic attractions along Lincoln Highway.

Great service! Awesome location, next to Shawnee state park, and a beach... camping, kyacking, boating, fishing, hunting, cabins, picnic areas, and trails. Lots of fine dining nearby, and a little market to boot!

This Motel isnt a modern Holiday Inn type motel but rooms are clean and prices are reasonable.

It was a great stay. Felt like I went back in time. Nothing fancy, but very clean and the staff was extremely friendly.

Great motel! Clean, cute room, quiet little town. Make sure to get some snacks before stopping in case the little stores arent open late. Cant wait to stay here again and make another visit to Gravity Hill.
