Lots of selections much nicer than the box stores
Customer service is not what it use to be! I bought fridge in February, had a problem with the door, got a new door, another problem with that door, it is now October and still waiting for a new door. I understand there are problems at the factory and such but when you call up there, they could explain to you what the problem is instead of just saying it’s on its way very rude and uncaring. They need to get someone in there that knows how to answer your phone politely.
Received my dryer today, the delivery men was great. Dave switched door opening for me.Shays should be proud of the wonderful customer service as I am.Thank you
Not enough salespeople for the amount of customers. Bought a new washer and hopefully better than the last new one we bought there. Sign on machine had sales price but when you looked at the tag it was $20 cheaper than the sales price???
They have service and installation available on all they sell
My dryer stopped working, and Frank came out at the soonest available opportunity to repair it. Works like new again. When it finally gives up the ghost, I will definitely buy from them for the service they provide.Update 7/30: also serviced my fridge when the ice maker stopped working. Repairman was efficient and friendly. Thank you!

Hands down the worst company I have dealt with in years. AVOID!!!!!Shays says they "service what they sell" but they dont tell you that they only warranty their service for 30 days and cant get parts for the appliances they sell. Both my refrigerator and stove were bought through Shays and they came out and serviced both of them for not working properly. Within 45 days BOTH service repairs had fully failed and were in fact worse. I called to work out the issues and was given excuse after excuse by their service manager as to why it was not Shays responsibility that the two appliances were not working. She made no attempt at all to work with me and was only interested in scheduling more service calls at full price. Save yourself the hassle and learn from my misfortune and purchase appliances from other more reputable and responsible appliance dealers.

Initially went there to check for used appliances but they had none. The young man who helped us was quite knowledgeable about the brands & what each appliance offered. Though we werent planning to purchase new, we are reassessing if we should once our house is sold. Prices are a bit higher then traditional big box stores like home depot but we like to shop local. 😊 highly recommend.

Mom’s fridge died.We looked at appliances online at local Big Box stores. No.We drove over to Shay’s and spoke with Brendan, the owner, who was friendly, knowledgable, and nice. I showed him from my iPad what we wanted and he took us right to one (a much better brand).The price was great and he did what the Big Box store wouldn’t have even considered. He took care of the delivery and removal of her old, huge fridge.So we got exactly what we wanted. It was a friendly transaction (can I say fun?). And we were well cared for.The delivery guys struggled with the dinosaur fridge but were exceptionally nice.I wouldn’t even consider going anywhere else for appliances. Shays has always been been fair,reasonable,courteous, and prompt. Every appliance in my home came from and was installed by Shays. I won’t shop any other place. Their staff is knowledgeable,helpful and friendly. They are the best!
This is a store that still actually has the things they advertise, namely refrigerators, stoves and televisions. Evidently the chip crisis has not hit them. We had been waiting four months for a refrigerator and were recently told that it would be at least two more months before it would arrive, but Shays had dozens. The selection is good and the appliances are name brand and excellent quallity. They also service their equipment.
A huge thank you to Shays appliance for donating a refrigerator to the local Kiwanis Club - Burger Booth! Brendan did not hesitate to help us out, and for a great cause! Ive used this store for years and they always stand behind their products and the service is wonderful!
The product line they have and the variety of washers dryers and 📺 are AWESOME!!! The customer service was excellent and the staff WAS SUPER FRIENDLY AND BEYOND EXPERIENCE. The whole process was fast and they made it easy ; especially when your spending for a big ticket items. They definitely cant be beat by the big box stores; we checked... this place was the best all around!!!! Thank yall!!!
Over the weekend my old refrigerator died. I had been tied up with doctor appointments and couldnt get to Shays until a little after 4:30 pm today. I was greeted immediately on entering the store, and how can we help you. I told them my situation, and what I was looking for with the dementions that I could work within. They immediately pointed out the refrigerator that met my need. It was also on special pricing. They had it in the color I needed. I thought, "this is great" but then it got better, they said were going to deliver your refrigerator now. I was in disbelief, right at closing time, I didnt expect it until the next day at the soonest. The delivery men were very helpful and courteous, and had the old one out and my nice new fridge installed in minutes. Youre not going to get this kind of treatment, or friendly home town treatment from the big box stores. Ill always do my appliance shopping with Shays. Thank you so much, I never knew how much I missed my fridge until it was dead.
Shays did it again. For over 30 years Shays has given us great products, great pricing, and great service. They again got us out of a jam by delivering a new refrigerator within hours of it breaking down. The delivery team were courteous and efficient. They saved the day. Thanks again for all your help. Awesome! It helped that I really knew what I wanted, and I was surprised that it was something that they had in stock. I knew if I went anywhere else, theyd have to special order it. Not only did Shays have it in stock, they were able to deliver and install it the very next day!
I was trying to find something yesterday on the internet to show me how to put my trays back into my refrigerator freezer and I had pushed Shays since its in our town I said that I couldnt afford a service call he said he would come out later anyway and he did I was really really surprised he checked my refrigerator and told me I did a good job putting the trace back in and that meant a lot to me it also meant a lot to me that he did not charge me a service call I have been telling everybody that I talk to how nice he was and what a wonderful thing he had done he told me to just pass it on help somebody when I could and I do that all the time I was really surprised that the owner of Sheas would do that for me thank you so much and I will praise you to everyone thank you thank you thank you
I ordered multiple appliances at Shays and am extremely happy with both the items and the services provided, especially by Dianne who helped us tremendously to coordinate delivery, installation and pick-up of old items by Goodwill. The only issue we faced was having to wait several months for a replacement oven drawer since the one originally shipped was dented. This delay was due to GE, not Shays. I felt the folks at Shays bent over backward to serve us.
I have now ordered appliances from Shays twice. We got a freezer last year and a washer/dryer combo this year. All was done over the phone, no need to travel to Mt. Home. Sales department was helpful with all questions and in determining which models we needed. The delivery guys were simply wonderful. They quickly assessed our needs and were beyond considerate when they realized we had a special needs individual in our home. They worked quickly, efficiently and were unbelievably quiet. A major consideration for us in our environment. Thanks again guys, appreciate your help. Just marvelous customer service.
Excellent experience, as usual. Brendon is knowledgeable and I found what I wanted very expediently. The desk staff was great; light hearted and efficient! Have always had great service, when needed, in the 12 years that we have had Shays appliances.
Bought a new Profile refrigerator fron Shays, which was delivered this past Monday 3/29/2021. The 2 delivery men could not have been any more helpful, courteous & professional.
Have to change my review. Same employee waited on me but was a completely different experience. Told her what I needed, she let me look but was ready to answer questions. Made my purchase & out quickly. No pressure, very happy & will return.
So, being from out of town, we went to Lowes and Home Depot only to find out that they do not stock any of the appliances on the floor and would have to place an order taking WEEKS for delivery!One of the employees mentioned Shays Appliance and said they normally have the appliances in stock.Sure enough! They had exactly what we needed at great prices!Customer service was amazing as well!

Purchased a washer 1 year ago, great service and sales personnel. Just purchased a dryer and was very disappointed with the vent kit I purchased in addition to the dryer and cord which was separate also.. The kit was not a kit was a piece of 4 ft cheap duct which was cut off a bigger roll it appears from the frayed ends and 2 regular clamps which looked on website and it offered kit and cord for less than paid for just cord not to mention what paid for supposed kit greatly disappointed ...In response I purchased a kit not installation
made a call today to Shays, had a problem with my refrigerator drawer. They sent a young tech immediately and not only did he fix the problem but spotted another little minor problem and fixed it at the same time. He took the time to explain what to do if we ever needed to move it out. I just didnt expect service that quick and for someone to take the time to be kind, courteous, and simply take care of it. Walked in and 10 minutes later we had our washer. Delivery the next day!Explained the differences in the two washers we were looking at. No pressure to buy which is awesome!
This place is great. First rate customer service from point of sale to delivery . I highly recommend Shay’s as your go to place for appliances and Traeger grills!
They do rentals from here, worst management i had to deal with. Went in and put in a application for a house that was about to come open and told them I had money in hand, they told me to wait till after the application comes back approved and said they send it out on Fridays, I call on Saturday excited and they said they didnt send in the application and gave the place to someone else. Do not waste your time here.
I just purchased four appliances and the staff was friendly and patient with me thru it all. Delivery was same day and was a great experience. Wanted to share why I decided to buy from Shays Appliances. So I compared complete pricing for delivery and installation on exact same GE appliances with Shays, Lowes and Home Depot. The only difference was I had to PURCHASE extended warranties with Lowes and Home Depot-that only means I got one more year on warranties with Lowes and Home Depot. The difference in price wasnt enough for me to buy with the others. Home Depot was a difference if $546.42 and Lowes was a difference of $772.54 Which I dont believe made up for the difference in price Plus I had to wait until May for delivery with Lowes and Home Depot. Now Im also a veteran and didnt get 10%discount at Lowes or Home Depot because the appliances was already on sale. Another advantage is if I have any issues I can personally go to Shays, I wont have to call a 1 800 number and wait for someone to get back with me.
Dismissive, felt really pressured.Tone was arrogant and somewhat sarcastic. Made veiled threats about getting appliances repaired and saying we would be sorry if we didnt buy from them and use their service plansAbsolutely will NOT go back to that store!
My 17 year old dishwasher, that I had also bought from Shay’s, bit the dust. I stopped in to see about a part but it was DOA. I researched dishwashers for 2 days, texted with Brenden, went in and he showed me two he suggested. Explained very thoroughly both models. I bought a GE. Very nice and competent installer came out and got it in. He was meticulous about how it looked. Explained the different types of soap. I’m very pleased with my machine and my service. We always use Shays because they truly do “service what they sell”” and also made a donation to Bridge Bash to support the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas. Thanks Brenden and Steve...Job well done.
Brendan has a very good selection of Appliances, Stoves, High End Kitchen Equipment, Custom Outdoor Kitchen Appliances, Big Screen TVs, Smart TVs and they service everything they sell as well. Part of a Billion Dollar Buying group- theyve got prices that rival and beat the big stores pricing. I always like dealing with smaller companies over large companies who just treat you like a person instead of a number.
Purchased and they delivered same day. Shays has their own delivery service. I am very happy with our decision to shop at Shays.
The only appliance store in town that services what they sell. Good fair prices, very friendly staff. It is always a pleasure to shop there and got same day delivery. The delivery guy, Rusty was very pleasant and efficient. He explained the appliance and levelled it.
I have been doing business with Shays for almost 40 years. They have fair prices, usually beating the big box stores. They also have an excellent service department, with very quick response time. Just had a new refrig installed after the previous one died after 23 years. Their delivery and installation were accomplished without problem. Very good service.
Great customer service and nice selection too. Knowledgeable sales people. Installation and extras are a bit overpriced. They service what they sell! Who does that anymore? Appliance prices are in line with box stores.
We are incredibly lucky to have Shay’s Appliance in Baxter County! This is one of the best small businesses around and their focus on their customers is exceptional. Not only do they have deep knowledge of appliances and can explain the features in a way that makes sense, they follow through with amazing service.I love my induction cooktop; recently, one of the electronic panels stopped working. Shay’s was right there to figure out the issue and didn’t stop their effort until they made a successful repair. It feels good to know that they truly value their customers and are here to serve!
Was nice they carried the thermal cutoff to fix my clothes dryer but id never buy it from them. Price gouging the heck out of it! Its a $4 part online and they wanted over $41 before tax. No thanks.
I normally am very pleased with Shays, however I was in there on the 7th and bought my daughter a refrigerator/freezer with water and icemaker in the door, a GE. The person who waited on us told them that their new appliance would have a second icemaker in the bottom drawer freezer. When they got it home and set it up, there was no second icemaker. I called and was told it was an honest mistake that the model number had changed. I am wondering if we got charged for that second ice maker, something I am sure we will never know.
Im so pleased I can buy local from an established family appliance store. Its pretty awesome to see many more choices in that huge warehouse you have. Thank you Shays Appliance for always taking care of me and my family !
