I would like to say that getting my haircut by Danielle is probably one of the best haircuts Ive had my entire life her customer service is phenomenal and from this day forward I got my second haircut today I will be going there Non-Stop one of the best places in Johnstown to get a haircut and a Calvin keep up the great work definitely one of the best experiences Ive had getting my haircut do people you have working for your phenomenal I just want to thank you and you have a loyal customer for me now on

The customer service is super excellent never had any problem or felt disappointed with the service am giving when I bring my son for a haircut. Best experience ever! I have had hundreds of haircuts by dozens of barbers all over the country. I have gotten my haircut every week for the last 10 years while in the military. So I have seen it all. Danielle here at shear magic was the best barber I have been too. I Came in there as a walk in, expecting your typical hair cut experience. But Danielle went above and beyond. Took the time to make sure my hair and beard were perfect! She even did a beard conditioner which I have never seen before!! I have never seen a barber put that much care and effort into a haircut. Especially since it was my first time there. Thanks again Danielle! I’ll be back real soon!

My son has been a customer for a few years. Throughout high school he would see Calvin for a cut and was never displeased. After graduating and moving on to college he would treat himself to a cut and straight razor shave with Danielle. Which he loved. So I finally decided after all these years to schedule an appt with Danielle. I am very pleased, She listened to what I wanted and I got a great cut. I will definitely be back in the future.

First experience at this place and now I have a new barber! Extremely friendly employees as were all the customers waiting, felt like Ive been going here since I was a kid. Cut and beard were spot on as well as the price!

I normally give my son the at-home “standard boy haircut,” but the last time he requested to go to a barber for the experience. I told him to choose a place, which lead us here. Danielle gave him his cut/style. She did a great job! Not only do we love the cut, but she was quick, efficient, and precise as well. Danielle was engaging with my son throughout the experience,; very attentive to his conversation. We will DEFINITELY be back!!

Danielle did me on an emergency walk-in after my stylist forgot to mark the day of my appointment. She took me in almost immediately after I walked in and to my blessings, it was the best cut and style I’ve had in years! Needless to say she and Calvin found a forever customer! My kids love Dariens styles and shapes he makes in their hair and are happy to come back. Calvin the owner always happily offers candy to them, so they look forward to each visit! Thank you!

Shear Magics is one of the best barbershops in town. The shop is community family oriented based. Calvin greets everyone that comes inside the establishment .The services is great professional quality. I never received a haircut I didnt like. Prices are reasonable definitely compared to other shops. I recommend Shear Magics barbershop.

I’m sure Calvin the owner is a great barber but the woman he has in the shop in the 3rd chair has no idea what she is doing. Absolutely butchered my beard. I’m not sure she even has a license. WORST BARBER OF ALL TIME.

This is the best barbershop in the area. I have been to other barbershops nearby and none compare to this one. Great quality haircuts, pricing is unbeatable, and Calvin is always friendly and attentive to each person. I highly recommend everyone to come and give this place a try! Also very kid friendly.

When I walked in there was a fresh smell of cannabis or something like it, should have left then however I needed a quick last minute cut. After 45+ minutes in the chair and the owner having to assist the younger barber, I received a basic high&tight…..45+minutes!! The charge was $35?? Unfortunately there will be no repeat business from myself.

I was new to the area and was looking for a good barber shop. I took a chance on this place and had a great experience. The owner is a Philly transplant and an Eagles fan. I highly recommend this place. Fly Eagles Fly

No competition really so owner stops and talks alot as well as long lunch periods. They use no spritz and dont follow instructions. Only know how to do the typical johnstown haircuts. Kids haircuts are extremely high.

First time ever getting a cut here.. Owner was very friendly and cool... Barber did a very good cut on me.. Recommend them good prices friendly atmosphere.. Paid $18 for full cut.. Worth it!!

Calvin cut my hair and squared away my beard today. Hair cut was super clean, which I kind of expected. But his beard skills are exceptional. Possibly the best I have ever had. Will definitely be a regular and would highly recommend. Even if the wait is long, it is absolutely worth every second.
