This location did not know how to process an order that I placed online. When I arrived to pick up the order that I placed 4 hours earlier my pre-paid order not ready and they couldnt find me in the system. Took 35 minutes to get issue resolved.

Ive talked to an employee named Nathaniel during a couple of my visits and he has been extremely helpful. He took quite a bit of time to explain some things to me and I felt much better prepared after visiting the store.Despite technological advancements I find its actually quite difficult to find reliably accurate information on the internet these days. Ive spent hours tracking down random forums full of strangers and I dont really know if they have any idea what they are talking about. Its nice to be able to go to a store with competent and helpful staff.

I needed to choose pick up paint swatches for a home project and due to the current crisis, needed to use the curbside pickup. Staff was very helpful when I needed advice on color swatches. It was a surprisingly easy and quick process!

This location has been nothing but rude to my wife about matching a paint color. We went out of our way to go to a paint store and not Home Depot and we get treated rudely???? Do not go to this location... there are several other options!!!!

Dont hold your breath if they tell you your paint will arrive on a specific date. 3 Days later no one knows when the paint will arrive. I have had to call 4 times because a promised return call never happens.
The associate who helped me (Amber, I think?was very knowledgable and gave me a lot of personal attention and time in helping me choose the right paint. Having previously been to a couple of big box stores without being able to figure out what I needed, I now feel more confident in the success of my painting project!

I was very impressed with Amber. I came in on a very busy morning and she seemed to be taking care of everything. She was able to assist multiple customers at a time, take care of incoming calls and solve the problems of her coworkers. I don’t think I have ever seen someone multitask like that without an error or even seeming bothered by it. I appreciate Amber’s hard work.

Sherwin-Williams has the best paint around, but on this occasion I was looking for a stain match for some staircase treads I wanted to match an existing banister and the Provo store did an excellent job.I went to the Sherwin-Williams stores in American Fork (there are two of them within a stones throw due to the acquisition of Kwaland they failed to match the stain, but one of the guys there tipped me off about the Provo stores stain-matching ninja. Turns out that in the Provo store there is this guy who has been matching stains for about forty years. He was able to match our stain on knotty alder to a hickory. It wasnt a perfect match, but it was close enough for our needs. I would suggest that this guy has to be the best in the valley and they didnt charge me any extra for his labor. I just bought a quart of stain! Most places wont even attempt to stain match.
Sherwin-Williams is the only place I buy paint. The staff is wonderful, the quality of the paint is great, and the prices are good.

I am very dismayed, after many years as a satisfied customer, that I would no longer recommend Sherwin-Williams to friends, contractors or family. In fact, I would advise painters to avoid this chain store.1- during the last month we bought 6 gallons of paint from the Provo area S/W store(s). On the initial purchase, the salesperson insisted that we use flat paint in a washroom, mudroom, and hallway. He insisted that the "new" flat paint was now equivalent to the old semi-gloss paint, and that it was very "trendy" Three gallons were used, hoping that the resultant finish would gloss up. It never did. (Deal breaker 1 Several coats were needed to hide the old paint, drying resulted in a blotchy finish that appeared to have several different shades in it.2- On the next visit, we were told that the reason we were getting poor coverage and different shades as the paint dried was that we had been sold contractors paint, which was intended to be used in spray equipment only. Deal breaker #2. It was too late at this point and had to buy another gallon to finish the job.3- On the final visit we were informed that coverage warranties were invalidated because the paint was misapplied with brush and roller. We were furthermore told that most of the S/W clients are contractors and have a knowledge of paints and application thereof. (Adding insult to injury Deal breaker #3. Three strikes and youre out.Conclusions: Your staff is poorly trained. They should never recommend a paint solely because it is "trendy." Either the sales associate was not trained in final finish of your products, or they enforced their own will over the clients. The error of providing "spray only" paint is inexcusable in my opinion. It is S/Ws responsibility to ask enough questions to provide the proper paint (i.e. spray or brush and rollerto your do-it-yourself clients rather than simply making an assumption. Customer care is extremely important in a world where competition for business is at the highest level ever. You should avoid a high turnover rate in your sales associates to insure a knowledgeable and truly helpful salesperson. Your paints have lost value because of the lack of covering pigment and poor customer service and advice. You have inexpensive paint priced at levels that would suggest premium products. I will never return to S/W stores, and will no longer use your products. I also intend on telling every listening ear about the shoddy customer care and products. I have calculated that we would show a loss of nearly $1000.00 if we were to repaint now, with $300.00 alone in S/W paint products. The other $700.00 would be the cost of labor if we hired a professional to come in and paint. It is your responsibility to educate your "do-it-yourself" painters about finish, true coverage and final finish appearance. We have been loyal customers through 2 basements, a complete exterior paint job, a carport, 3 storage sheds, and many, many rooms painted new colors or to freshen up old aging paint throughout our home. Sadly, I will not be back, you are no longer trusted, nor are your products of a quality nature.

Best customer service ever. A simple mistake was made mixing a paint and Dave at this store went out of his way to make things right. Arranged to have the paint delivered to our house...we live in Price! Thanks for making what could have been a really bad thing into a wonderful thing. We are life long costumers.
