Thank you Rick and the service techs that fixed our suburban! My wife and 3 kids we’re driving from Missouri to Michigan With a trailer when the front hub assembly(bearingsstarted to freeze up. We happened to be 5 miles from Paxton so we stopped not really having a choice. It was after 4 pm when I walked in to see Rick. It must have been the pathetic look on my face because he told me to drop the trailer and they would take a look. So all five of us went to the waiting room wearing masks and all expecting to be sitting there for a couple of hours. Rick told us they had the part in stock and they would start right away. Rick came back in within an hour and said they were wrapping it up and taking it for a test drive. So from start to finish and back on the highway it was less than an hour and half. Everyone there was great!

Everyone was very friendly, helpful. Very early to try to give us the best price around. We would recommend taking a dry it would be worth the drive for anyone. They are just off hwy 57 in Paxton, ill. Great prices, Service, friendly and very acomadating.

Brought my car in 3 separate times. Drove it home to Chicago and it’s worse than when I brought it in. Deleted my old review but this place can’t fix a car. Oils coming out of my rim... Hoping my cruze isn’t totaled. First they couldn’t power wash my engine correctly. Then this. I gave them a chance but it’s a Chevy Cruze come not a Ferrari.

This was our second time purchasing a car from Shields. Doug is the one who helped us out. He was friendly, could joke around, and efficient at his job. We needed a cheap car, just so my husband could get to and from work. Well, they had what we needed/wanted. Doug told us the history and answered all my ridiculous questions. This dealerships service is amazing. We were traveling to Tennessee from Chicago, pulling a trailer when our trucks service engine light came on. Luckily we stopped to access the issue and looked up and there they were. We drove in ,and they plugged it in. They were able to replace the bad sensor and send us safely in our way. Dane the mechanic was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend this service department to anyone.

This Shields Auto Mart, General Manager Pete Klein and Our Sales Professional, Rich Heintz have always gone the extra mile to make our buying experience the Absolute Best. Their selection of vehicles is wonderful but if they didnt have the "perfect" one on the lot, they get it for us. They always go the extra mile to help us with any questions and Rich has even programmed our Garage Door Opener when we just couldnt figure it out.They also have the most awesome Service Department and we always enjoy coming in.Weve bought many New Vehicles from This Team and they never let us down !

Absolutely great customer service! Out of towners with car trouble, they were able to help right away. This is a Chevy dealer, my car is a ford and they still we’re able to perform maintenance. Even with being there for 4 hours, the clerk offerd to treat us for lunch. Very thoughtful. Great place, shout out to Rick! Wonderful staff. I’m thinking to switch from ford to Chevy. Make sure you buy a warranty, Bought a 2010 Equinox,in 2017,Transmission was replaced in 2017,6 months later need another transmission bad,They advertised that all cars have warranties with 100,00 or under for life of your car.They are doing nothing to fix it.It had 84,000 when I bought it,it now has 98,000.Make sure you dont get sold a lemon.Getting ready to file with a Attorney. And BBB.

We’ve purchased several vehicles from Shields, so when our first child turned 16 there was no where else to look! Pete worked with us and found the perfect car for our son. We are very pleased with Shields and know that we are well taken care of.
