Shipshe General Store in LaGrange County

My 1st time that Ive ever been in a general store, with things that I wouldnt imagine finding anywhere else, and INEXPENSIVE! Clothes, suitcases, luggages, Amish food, music, ornaments, etc. It takes you back into time, where everything stands still, just by looking at the outside stepping in. If you plan to stop at Davis Mercantile, stop by Shipshe General Store first.

It was OK... ladies were very nice and helpful. Its full of everything quilts, clothes, souvenirs, purses, toys and kitchen wares. Just to name a few items.. Reminds of swap meet stuff.

This fun multi-level shop is just North of town and always has plenty of bargains to be found. Be sure to check the upstairs room for 50% off deals!

A fun store... if youre looking for luggage or a fun gift for someone its worth a stop!!! The upstairs was kind of cool....everything was 50% off!!!!

Very large store, has large sewing material section. Hardware section. And clothing, there is another section but I did not go there.sll in the same building. Not to crowded this time of year good time to go.

Alot of things in a small area. Would be hard for someone with a walker or wheelchair to get around. Cashier was friendly.

The store had plenty of merchandise to choose from. Breyer model horses seemed a bit high on prices. Harness was also higher there than other places to buy harness. Some isles/ merchandise was too close together for disabled person to get through. Staff was helpful. Store was easy to find on map.

You can get lost in all the items available in Shipshe General Store. From souvenirs, to toys and decorations they have so many things to shop from you will find something great. Dont miss their upstairs deals as well, you never know what you might find that you didnt even know you needed.

The store is nice and clean with a huge variety of stuff to offer. There was the largest selection of luggage I have ever seen in one spot lots of flip flops and other small gifts and toys theres also a upstairs area with 50% off gifts. Very unique type of store with a little bit of everything. But kind of too high-priced for my taste. Its a typical tourist trap store full retail mark-up
