Shopping At the Rose in Ventura County

A very cramped, dirty and busy shopping center. Traffic is atrocious at all times of day here. I try to avoid coming over here if I can. There are cleaner shopping centers with a better traffic flow and larger variety of stores across the Ventura County area.

I consider this location as my neighborhood Walmart in Oxnard

Lots of parking, happy with experience

Its crowded, but not without a good reason. From Walmart Supercenters, to Vons Grocery mega-marts. If you need to get your chores done, and consider grocery shopping a chore, look no further! Need new keys made?? Walmart claims to do that, but apparently not for my Honda, Dodge, Ford, or honestly any of the bikes, trucks or cars that the bank owns for me. This will make your day though, yaknow those electronic carts that people with disabilities absolutely need to make life just a bit less harder than it already is? Well the obese people probably got to them first so there probably arent any left for the people who need them. Nevertheless, they are provided. Also just be polite to the staff at any of the stores in the Rose. They dont want to be there more than you, but I doubt that youve ever considered that. Unlike you, the customer, the employees cannot leave at any time and have the added torment of knowing they are going to be right back there next shift. Thats cruel enough, so just be polite, patient and treat one another as you wish someone would treat your grandmother. Unless you have a bad relationship with gma that is, then imagine how youd like to be treated. Thats the key to fixing literally everything. In a shopping center review. I try to avoid this madhouse at all possible however I neededto go to turners so I had to deal with it.

Best place ever because it has Walmart and Vons and Ross

Its too crowded and they dont have enough cashiers.

Very convenient and close to the highway! Many restaurants and big shops, like walmart or ross. I liked it!

Your one stop shop for all your shopping needs. Theres lots of parking and neighboring businesses. Its all about the choices you make and your frame of mind and Im pretty sure youll find something desirable that meets your expectations.

Love Walmart and the prices... I can always find something here to buy... Just dont like how crowded it can get and the people are rude but the workers are ok... Still its worth shopping there.

Parking lot is a bit of a hassle, the way the place is organized doesnt seem to work as well as other Sams clubs, and they didnt have a couple things we usually get that other locations have. So the place is not bad! But a bit disappointed in those things. Otherwise good as usual.Edit: there is now a Raising Canes and a Chase bank here, which is great but also causes even more congestion at the *one* intersection most anybody uses to get in and out.

Had lunch and walked around. Seriously small outdoor mall but theres a sweet art gallery store with unique jewelry and paintings, so it was worth the stop

Employees avoid helping customers, and if they do help customers, the employees are snappy, attitudy, and are annoyed when and while helping the customer. Best to go somewhere else if you dont wanna catch the attitude.

Who doesnt experience sticker shock at the grocery store these days? I know I do. At least Vons isnt too bad and the food selection is good.

We stopped off at Rubios for quick to-go food. The area was not too crowded and most of the restaurants were still open (Sunday evening).

Im there everyday. My daughter works at StarbucksVery nice place its always full. they even have line of cars when they are not open in the morning. just waiting for them to open

Was shopping there on Saturday night the day before the big game of the Super bowl and I found to my surprise at every shelf was stocked and I found everything that I was looking for. Its nice to know or should I say comforting to know that people have stopped hoarding.

The shopping is fine, but the chaos at the main entrance off Rose is ridiculous! The cars entering are are not supposed to stop when entering, but the lines are still on the road so it looks like you should. Its a clusterf♡@k.

My first time shopping to drive up pick up,they do not have signs to show you where to park to pick up the order , so Iend up calling the phatmacy and they mention that the pick up spots are hehind the store,so I drove all around the shopping Center to get to the back of the store.Great timing it was ready on time.

We stopped by during roadtrip. This store had many many clearance items that I do not find in my home Walmart in 92507.

This Walmart has just about everything. I wish they had more variety when it came to vegetarian and vegan food

1 1/2 minute read:I love this shopping center. It is HUGE. Walmart, Vons, and more stores than you can shake a stick at. Theres plenty of parking but it does get crowded and you may be wind up parking a block away. You need to see it to know what Im talking about. Its just South of the 101 freeway, at the Rose offramp. took my cat to the PetSmart and had her toenails clipped again. They were fast easy to get an appointment with.

Ive tried a few times now and very over rated. Chicken is not seasoned what so ever and very bland. If you want extra sauce you pay and not very cordial about it if asked at last minute. The bread is about only enjoyable item and havent tried their sandwich. At least add seasoning or salt to Chicken! Not worth getting in line.

Same as the last time I went their, crowed & kinda rescue like people asking to clean Windows as they walk towards the shopping store entrances & not even near their vehicles.... LOL! [Just the other day @ CVS on Vta rd & fifth st. Smoking a vape pipe like CRAZY near the entry way as future customers looked at him in a discussing manner,another joke for shopping safety in Oxnard] This mall needs a much better security service. Im a retired Professional Armed (GovernmentGuard & Ive worked unarmed post positions also.

Their chicken is very good. Ive gone 4 different times and the chicken fingers have been consistent in juicey ness, never greasy and crunchy.Customer service is excellent too!

Im not usually in this area but decided to come up for a trip to Sams club. As it turned out there is almost everything you would need in this one center. We ended up getting what we needed at Sams club and then grabbed a bite to eat at Raising Canes. Had a needed additional errands this could have all been done in this center without any other stops!

Food is good but they have to do something about their online take out system. Tells you to arrive at a certain time and you end up waiting an additional 45 min to an hour for your food.

This was my first time to go to one of their restaurants. It was a little pricey but the food was good and their meals include the drink so the price you see is the total you pay unless you add extras to your order. I will stop by again.

A lot of places to shop at. Mostly Sams club and T mobile for me. I wish Chase bank hadnt moved into here. It is a very popular shopping center though. The entance and roads to get around are horrible. Its always a traffic jam trying to get around. I will only shop here early mornings or if there is no other options.

It was awesome experience to go to Walmart once again they attend to your needs immediately and the waiting is not even really that bad but I just enjoy the fact of shopping I I heard you guys all to go

Anywhere in Oxnard is super over crowded and traffic everywhere, which is a shame because this plaza has several great stores that I love, Ross, Walmart, Joann Fabrics, Sams Club, a few great fast food restaurants, and the Shell has a great carwash. But it gets annoying how over crowded it is any day or time you go, its just a busy intersection, busy area, etc. Plus a lot of dingy people and homeless lurk around this plaza. Just trying to get out of the parking lot and through the light is a hassle and takes up a lot of time.

We usually go to Wal-Mart, and find almost everything on the grocery list. Believe this Store might be one of the "better " stocked, even in the Pharmacy. The Vons store in this center is good too.

This center is big and well maintained. The way the parking lanes are laid out is a bit awkward though doable. Discount stores are the anchors, Walmart, Hobby Lobby and Ross and many smaller businesses and restaurants.

Convenient shopping. Problem you need to carry your cleaning supplies to wash down the outside seating and tables. They are filthy beyond belief. 3 stars is too much not the surrounding shops fault.

Walmart should have more than one checker in the morning. Loosen the purse strings and help customers get thru efficiently. Our time is valuable to us, like our dollars are to you 😠

We ate at Raising Canes Chicken for the first time and LOVED it!!! All they make is Chicken Fingers but of the best QUALITY, moist, Texas Toast, Lemonade and REASONABLY Priced!!!!

Would you believe I waited on line (carfor over 1 hrs. Just so we can try raiden cane. Very good chicken. Lemonade week fries avg.

The parking lot was packed! Was headed for Sam’s Club but think I’ll try again on Monday. I do wish drivers would slow down and not treaty the aisles as speedways.Suggest speed bumps everywhere to slow down the shoppers!

Usually here once a week for our Sams club run and then Walmart. Theres a couple fast food joints and Starbucks as well. Getting out was a challenge from the north end with the four way stop. Now that they added Canes and Chase, I can only foresee it getting worse, lots of things to do here though

There is also drive-thru Starbucks, Shell gas station, McDonalds, Ameci Pizza, Dairy Queen, Baskin Robbins, Subway, Wing Stop, Cricket wireless, GNC, Daniels Jewelers, Fashion Gap, Game Stop, UFC gym, a Dickie/Levis store (forgot name), a hunting store (forgot nameand a recycling place (next to McDonalds and Sams Club). One big downside to here is that there is always heavy traffic going in and out and parking is awful.

The Rose has a parking lot that needs work. There wasnt much thought in how cars will get in and out, its very congested for vehicles. Dont go near Walmart, the vehicle and foot traffic make it worse than the 405 freeway at rush hour!

I visit this shopping center regularly. Sams club is essential in my family and this is the only location within an hours drive. Sams club is great but rest of the shopping center and the parking lot are far from it? Parking lot isn’t the cleanest and besides the large stores here the rest of the shopping selection is not the best in my opinion

Went in to have some drinks with my girlfriend after work & they were amazing. The bartender service was amazing. The food as well was so good I would recommend the chicken salad. The chips and salsa as well are always on point! I will definitely return back to this location for more great drinks & food 😁

Wow, SamsClub lowered the price on their 600+ sq. Inch cook surface pellet grill bbq smoker. Its lower priced than the tailgate smaller model Im looking at on Amazon.

This shopping plaza has really stepped up his game. It looks very nice and well taken care of. The stores are pretty good overall and a day walking around and visiting each of the shop. Theres something for everyone. The only downside of this shopping center is definitely the traffic. Theres always a ton of people and some of them just drive early for me, but Im not sure what I expect out of Oxnard.
