Ok
Good
Beautiful, Awsome!
Nice day trip, pretty town.
This waterfall, I not recommend. The water is not natural water, not clean. It has sent, no good for us. If you want to go to there, no need to go to end of root.
Terible Smell and rubbish everywhere
Very good
I t is a good water fall but small.
Ok
I was excited to visit this waterfall but got disappointed when I got there. There are no bins (only one half way down was over flowing with trashwhich means people leave their trash at the bottom. The waterfall was cool but to see all the trash get washed down the mountain was very sad.The walk down is cool with lots of small shops to buy souvenirs, drinks and food. However, its on the expensive side for foreigners. My Vietnamese friend paid 15k for a water and I got charged 35k. I understand that Im a tourist (however I live in Vietnambut to overcharge me left a bad taste in my mouth. The walk up was hard and not worth it in the endin my opinion. I will not go back here. Hopefully locals/ tourists will respect nature and clean the area up, or at least maintain it to attract more tourists. My intention is not to write an unfair review, but rather to give an accurate account of my experience.
The water is not very clean.
Good

oke good
The waterfall isn’t anything special and better places can be found all over frankly. Tam Dao is beautiful but this place isn’t. Not worth being the focus of your trip anyway.
Beautiful waterfall, a bit tired to walk all the way down and it might be slippery when it rains.
Famous place in Tam Dao mountain
Not worth the hike honestly, its a small waterfall and the water stinks. There are better attractions in Tam Dao to go to.
Good view but water has a smell
A small waterfall with an unacceptable smell
So great
Faur enough. Small place.
Beautiful, Tam Dao is worth it but a lot of stairs!
Good view
wonderful waterfall in vietnam!
Waterfall is small and the view is normal
The 300+ steps downward to the waterfall is a bit narrow, steep but relatively easy. Climbing back up is quite tough, be warned.
So good
Hotels everywhere. dusty and dirty. Being there didnt feel like going in the mountain to enjoy nature. It felt like being in the middle of a crowded and noisy city.
It is a very small and ordinary waterfall. The path is downward, narrow and steep. Toilet is terrible. Not recommended any at all.
Boring, remote and over populated tourist destination. Nothing here to see. Restaurants, cafes and clubs like anywhere else. The nature is also nothing special.
Good place to go. However, due to the recent civil work, water is not fresh at all.
Very beautiful
Go downstair in a thin, wet, high stair road
Pretty waterfall. Tam Dao is a short distance from Hanoi....nice getaway for a day in the cooler hills and mountains. Or spend a night....lots of hotels and restaurants. Rent a motorbike and see the countryside.
Nothing spectacular. Garbage and bad smell everywhere
We did the walk down to the waterfall and I must say it was a big disappointment. The place was very dirty, trash everywhere, the water was not clean, there was dirty foam on top of it and the whole place smelled like urine. The view could have been enjoyable if it wasnt for what I mention above.
Nice waterfall in the rain season
Gorgeous sights and views. Lots of stairs to and from the waterfall but worth the trip! The ride up the mountain mountain is also spectacular! You have to go at least one in your life!
the view is not worth the effort of getting there
Good view
Nothing to see here. The way down is very tiredsome.
Water fall is not great as we think. Ladder high and wet
Very beautiful but the water was not as clean as I expected.
Good food! 150.000vnd for person.
You should go there in july or august when the fall have more water :)))I so cool and relax
The annoying was the motor bike parking staff. They collect our money before we visit the waterfall and did not gave us the recipes.
Not as good as I expected but its still kinda nice to visit.
very good
As far as waterfalls go, it is only okay. Most comfortable seasons for making the walk down to see it are relatively low flow seasons (November to March). The big rains of summer make it a bit more impressive, but it is mostly more of "something to do" than a must see.Of more interest is the actual walk down and back up. It is a couple hundred steps, so those with lower leg issues or fitness issues should know it is a little strenuous. For the rest of us, its just enough to well and truly get our blood flowing and our clothes sweat through. The path itself is lined with little shacks selling drinks and renting rubber sandals. Yes, you read that correctly. You see, so many women show up in 10cm heels without realizing what they are about to do that the vendors realized they could spare them some pain by renting them Vietnams ubiquitous rubber sandal for a half hour. Enterprising lot, that. The way down is quick, but most groups make a stop or two on the long walk back up. There are plenty of places to serve you when a break is needed. The next bit of ingenuity will be to find a way to stop all the Hanoians throwing rubbish EVERYWHERE.
