Was a little nervous when we walked into the establishment and there seemed to be only one server who was also bartending but oh my god this place was a home run! We got the shrimp nachos and they are probably the best I ever had in my life... Our server/bartender was awesome and friendly! The food came out quick and tasty and we hope to go back before we leave our vacation here. Excellent experience.
Great food and great drinks
We were wondering why more people werent in the restaurant. The food and drinks were great and the prices very reasonable. We will be back!
Excellent Mexican food, margaritas, and staff.
I wish I could leave 0 stars. The service was horrendous. From start to finish, from checking in to trying to get out, it was *literally* the worst experience all around. Took 45 minutes for our cold tacos to come out- why does a small taco platter take 45 minutes with only one other table in the restaurant? One taco platter was way too spicy (not mentioned on the menuand someone at the table only had one bite and asked if she could give it back, and apologized. The server said "just because you dont like it doesnt mean Im taking it off the bill" and swiped the food away. She was rude the entire time, she was very disinterested in working at all, as she was on her cell phone not paying attention to anything we needed the whole time. Then another person at the table had a hard chunk of plastic in her entree. The water jugs had floating bits of residue in them. It ended with another patron asking for the manager, who also seemed to have no interest in making anything right. He did comp the two meals mentioned above, but wow, he literally didnt care at all about anything. Sad place, sad workers- I hope they can turn it around.
Several friends and I had dinner at Sirveda last evening before a concert.the watermelon margarita was wonderful, fresh and nicely poured. We shared a large nacho platter that was so authentic ! Brisket Quesadillas have a 5plus. Service was excellent and we even went back after the show for our night cap. Check it out.
Fast service, great nachos, drinks, and tacos.
Just had an amazing meal at Sirvida! We had the nachos with brisket to start. All the ingredients were very fresh and it was large enough for our table of 5. The tacos were also great and the service could not have been better!
Yum absolutely delicious! What a vibe
I always love going to sirvida, the food and the staff are wonderful! The brisket burrito and the stuffed jalapeño peppers are my favorite!
Enchiladas were authentic and delicious. Heard they did a revamp of the menu. Everything we had was delicious and margaritas were fantastic.
Overall amazing atmosphere, the waitress was quick to seat us, get our drinks, super helpful with recommendations for dishes&the food did not disappoint, many flavors& as for Maria much live girl!
Queso truly needs some help, especially for the price…tasted like chalk. Place has potential but extremely short staff.
I went to Sirvida for dinner with my bride and bachlorette group, and the staff was so amazing and accommodating! The dinner was delicious! Highly recommend everyone checks them out 😊
Poor service and terrible food. No flavor, watery salad, and gristle in chicken. So disappointing. Spend your money elsewhere!
What a horrible experience from beginning to end!!!! This restaurant does not have regular hours nor do they match the posted times. The order was incorrect and we were charged for their mistake. We were charged 20% tip on a take out order AFTER we had already paid. Ridiculous AND Fraud!!!!!! The food was horrible! Went to talk to a manager, none there and never got a call back. Such a disappointing beach meal. Do not waste your time or money with this horrible business when Dewey has so many great places to dine.
Food is horrible, my whole family was sick for days. Do NOT eat here!
I’ve been to Sirvida many times their nachos are great, great service! I saw on Google they only have a 1 star review!? They deserve way more than that so I decided to write a good review. Limited menu but great food & spicy jalapeño margarita 🍸
Service was not great; messed up our order twice and appeared to forget one of the dishes till we asked. They tried to fix the order but the Brisket tasted like pure vinegar. Flavors and texture were not good. They need a lot of work.
Love this place. The food was wonderful and the drinks were fantastic. The staff was also so friendly. I had a great time and Im excited to try it again!
The house made chips taste like cardboard. The food is not bad for a bar. Good place to get drunk though.
The atmosphere is great, but the food is not what Id ever go back for.
Guacamole was super, homade chips were over cooked, the pork enchiladas could have used a little more sauce but the pork was tasty. The rice and beans were cooked nicely but were fairly bland.
Just OK. I ordered a blackened shrimp quesadilla and it may as well have been a cheese quesadilla with shrimp flavoring. Its called "blackened shrimp" on the menu. No flavor of grilled shrimp. Just cheese. I love cheese, but this wasnt a good one.
Tonight was the second time we’ve been here and it was even better than the last. The bartender/hostess/server is amazing-super kind, funny, energetic and always in a good mood. After we ate, the chef came out and surprised us with two incredible desserts for my two boys. It was so thoughtful and totally unexpected. Can’t recommend this restaurant enough-great food and great people!
We came here when this place first opened and have been many times since. We actually met Maria, the owner, and her mom and they were born to be in the hospitality business, very friendly, personable and Maria is most definitely a hands on owner, many times when weve been there shes cutting up fresh fruit for the crushes or manning the grill in the kitchen. Their tacos & quesadillas are my favorite - authentic and delicious and generously filled. The corn relish is the only thing Ive tried that I wasnt very fond of but thats my fault for having a brain fart and thinking it would be served warm. Maria personifies what Dewey stands for - giving back to the community. On our first meeting she offered to help with our Golden Jubilee event and she participates in a lot of the fundraising events in town. Weve always had fast & friendly service no matter what time of day or season. Take my word for it, stop in and check out the crushes & tacos, you can thank me later.
AMAZING FOOD! Great service, great people! Will be back so soon :)
Highly disappointed, hours advertised to close at 11pm on Wednesday’s. I got to the restaurant at 9:45 to find they were already closed. Would be nice to adjust the hours if they won’t be open as advertised. They also have the wrong restaurant name online.
Just had dinner with my family at my friend Marias restaurant. Ive known Maria for many years along with her folks.she really knows how to raise the bar when it comes to good food and drink. A sweet smile greets you when you arrive and its up hill from there. The sir nachos named after Marias dad were amazing.dinner was top notch as well as dessertMaria Sir is looking down on you and I know hes as proud as any father could be.
Food was good a little spicy but I didnt ask how spicy item I got was so thats on me. It was still good but wish the meat was drained a little more before putting in tacos. The rice and beans were delicious. Service was quick and friendly. Overall I would go there again.
Firs of all, the place has changed their name to Sirvida I believe. Neat little place with full bar and smaller menu ( I am not a huge fan of large menus). Salsa, guacamole, chips and queso were fresh and tasty. Our dinner was pretty good as well but best part for me was churro doughnut. I could use some vanilla icecream but it held itself pretty good without it. Service was a 5 star in my book.
Drinks were great, guacamole was delicious! Im a Taco afficianado and the prickly pear pulled pork and carne asada beef brisket tacos were outstanding! I will definitely be back one day as I live in Detroit, I cant wait though!
Amazing nacho platters, we had both the brisket and shrimp. Id recommend the margaritas to go with them. Great atmosphere and great service!
Best nachos Ive ever had in my life! There was a parade when we were there so the service was a bit so-so but the food was quick and AMAZING!!!
All fresh: chips, salsa, just everything is home made at the sopt
Maria and her servers gave us the best service we’ve ever had! We came for a bachelorette dinner and it was such a great experience! They spoiled us and were so attentive and kind. We all wish we lived in the area so we could go back more often. Next time we are in Dewey, we will definitely be back! Thank you!
This is a large loud bar with a few tables. Not a location for families and children. But it’s close to the beach area and walking distance for most clients.
Great place for tacos, food was amazing!
Delicious food, fast friendly service and the price was just right!
Outstanding in everything....highly recommend for any occasion
Great food and drink. Maria loved the Magic Tricks!!
Had bacon guacamole for Bacon Fest and it was very good. I do however wish that the people serving it would have been wearing gloves.
Felt like a perfect summer night- casual, fun, and tasty food and drinks without breaking the bank. Great atmosphere and very friendly team there. Have the Mimi dessert!
Delicious food, spicy margaritas are the bomb! Will definitely be back next year!
Literally unreal , the Nachos are too good to try to describe. I could seriously drink their homemade queso! Thursday they are only 10$ and it is seriously enough for 4 people, no exaggeration. If you have a sweet tooth, you MUST try their homemade cookies (cooked in muffin formand they are as good as you can imagine. The cherry on top, the owner is almost always there, working herself, and is so fun and welcoming. They even deliver ONTO the beach,no joke.
Best Mexican food of my life. Fantastic service. Great atmosphere.
Fresh, tasty food with awesome margaritas to match. I highly recommend the jalapeno margarita.Oh.. and dont want to leave out how incredibly friendly the staff is!
The food was delicious and the service was outstanding! The owner, Maria, goes out of her way to make customers feel welcome. The staff are also very friendly and engaging. Definitely worth the trip and a place you can keep going back to.
Charming atmosphere, friendly and fun staff. Drinks tried were the mojito and red sangria which were excellent. The queso was pleasantly spiced, not overly but noticable. A very nice addition to the area and look forward to dining there again.
Stopped in on a rainy Sunday to try this new ( opened July 29spot - Margaritas made with fresh juice and not cloyingly sweet; unique Sangria ( pumpkinwas delicious; sampled the chicken taco and chicken quesadilla served with home made salsa and generous sour cream; music is promised to occur weekly - Maria the owner and chef is outgoing and truly has an attention to detail. Great location a must try. All items affordable, decor is funky and relaxed.
