A+
Very bad customer service👿.. The owner in there had a bad attitude toward me.🤢... Its bad enough I had to wait 30 minutes for food I order 30 minutes earlier. Never again will I eat there...... Ill order my food from Florida an get it shipped to my front door before I got back in there..
My lunch was incredible. Price was perfect for the amount of food.
I probably shouldve exited the place when a child asked me what I wanted to order. First lady walked out, looked in my the eyes and didnt greet me. I ordered 2 meals, tasso turkey and oxtail. The turkey was not tasso, it was huge fried pieces of turkey and it was EXTREMELY SALTY and the rice was hard and some of it was gratin. The oxtail cost me $20 and it had 3 pieces in it. It looks nothing like whats on their menu to the point that I questioned an older child (who was also working thereif it was actually oxtail. The oxtail is not a meat for the meal, it is a stew (bouyon). Ive never had Haitian oxtail like that before. They filled the bowl up with veggies to make it seem like a lot but you only get 3 pieces of oxtail for $20. Overall, I am beyond disappointed that I drove over 30 minutes and spent about $40 for that. I should stick with the Haitian restaurant that Im used to but this one got me with the good reviews. My suggestion: hire some good cooks and adults to answer your phones and take your orders.
Stopped in for the first time and asked the gentleman at the counter what he would recommend. He suggested my choice of meat along with the beans and rice, plantain, and some sauces. It was a great suggestion. Food was great!! First time trying and it does not disappoint. Was so eager to try that I even forgot to take a picture.
The food was amazing and the service is top notch. I understand why there were so many people . I ordered their oxtail dipped in the sauce and it taste exactly as in the picture on their menu. i will stop by anytime i am in Delaware. Thanks again.
Their food is good but their attitude isn’t. Ngl.
5 stars for flavor and quantity of food. This place is for when we say that we’re tired of eating the same things. It’s not Jamaican Caribbean, it’s Haitian Caribbean food. You’ll feel like someone’s grandma made you a plate of food. It’s a must try
My first time time trying their oxtails.Oxtails was soo good, so tender & dont get me started on the size I was so full. I will be a regular customer for sure !
Terrible, acordé comprar u comida y la encargué, y tras buscarla no me la tenian, y es la segunda vez que me pasa, no son serios
I brought frie fish that was good,I will stop by again.
Delicious!
I ordered oxtail, beans a rice for $15.00. I received three large peices of oxtail in a plastic container and the rice in a separate container. The wait was a bit long, but it was well worth it. The food was delicious! Will be going back soon.
My mind was in a quandary on what rating to exactly give this "Restaurant." 1 or 2, I am truly torn between them. When I walked in I shouldve turned around as soon as I looked at the singular customer sitting in a corner by his lonesome and by the look on his face it looked as though he had been sitting for quite some time. Ive lived over 20+ years with a West Indian and Ive never been so fretful to eat the food that was served to me. Oxtails that darn taste of mine! only to be ruined for another time. My head swoons in thinking about the awful experience as I am still burping it up 4 hours later!!! Who in the world enjoys this place. Okay Ill give it to them it appears to be clean, but I shouldve known something was awry when I smelled nothing cooking and a lone fly hovered over the food but dared to set down. If it wasnt for my growling stomach and my blasted taste for oxtails I wouldve left it in the foam container and bag they gave it to me in. Mine you, I was eating in. So, with great hope for a hot and delicious meal I sunk the edges of my teeth into the most pitiful looking morsel of tail I had ever eaten in public. I tried to work around the bone of my half-hearted prepared meal with hopes that the meat would give way and with much effort it finally did. I tried to wrap my head around the sight, the sharpest bone ever, odd-tasting seasonings, a mound of hard brown rice, and petrified-looking plantains that I just couldnt; or I just wouldnt consume. A young boy was seated at the register area squealing with glee at the video game which pierced the already unsettling quiet atmosphere of the restaurant. Oh, I forgot to tell you the attendant, waitress Im unsure of her position brought out the homely looking mans meal with bedroom slippers, a headscarf on while dragging her feet across the floor as though we both had imposed and were sitting in her bedroom. Oh my! What an experience! That I struggled with whether to write and share or keep this embarrassing debacle to myself. But, I had to be true to the many West Indians and unsuspecting victims who would spend over $10+ expecting to have a hot cook-up and get something akin to slop instead. So sorry, but not sorry. Maybe if they had at least a traditional restaurant offering at the least a glass of water, but they were too busy back in the kitchen doing only God knows what. Eat there if you wish, but in my opinion, it may be a hit or miss, one I wished I had missed!
Amazing place I love the griot.
Ok..I ordered the oxtails that came with rice..the oxtails were tough and the rice well lets just say after a few gos at it ,I just threw it away and fixed a peanut butter and jelly sandwich..
They have THE BEST Oxtails around, and the customer service is always great!!! 😋
Wow this place is awesome I love their food never failed me food always on point I love their rice and beans 💕
Love it
Good good food got griot and it was fresh and good!
Muy buena la comida.
The food is amazing however my problem is they have a child answer the phone to take order at times Which is very unprofessional. Also one of the sisters is really nice and there’s one that seems very rude. I greeted her and her face says “ I don’t want to be here”. That’s a huge problem if you are working in the customer service field putting off customers with that attitude. I have been here more than 5 times and this woman can’t smile or say hello ...
Unforgettable food. Your taste buds will grab your car keys from home and drive you all the way there!! THE BEST MEAL IN TOWN.
Great food and good music!

The place was amazing and customer service was great. Will definitely come back!
Good portion, good food!
The food is amazing and the price is great. Plenty of food. There is a language barrier, but I can point at items on the menu like everyone else. Creole is spoken and the food is AUTHENTIC and made with love. The ladies sang happily in the back as they cooked our meals. This made me happy. Definitely returning for more!
