No air condition at all! They do have fans going but its very hot and humid in there. If you have breathing problems I dont recommend you attend.

the tiles are good and so is the rink but you could smell the bathroom from a mile away and the rules are so harsh like no stand near the wall you cant stop or they will blow a loud whistle but besides all that its a good place to go

They need to just demolish the building and make a brand new one. They need to add better food to their menu

No AC. Rink is on the smaller size. Music selections could be better(more up to date). Customer service is great. Food is not good, easy before you go. A good place for a quick skating outing. They also sell skates.

I have been skating in this rink for almost 25 years it Id a great place to bring my kids and let them unwind from their weeks my husband and I enjoy the family time with our children while keeping them active great fun for all ages

I would give a 0 star if I could. Staff rude so rude. Not friendly all miserable. The moment you walk in the door. Not clean at all . If they would spend as much time cleaning as they do blowing the whistle, it might be clean. And heaven forbid you stop just to catch Your bearings … whistle lol . This place is a joke. They are 40+ year old floor guards who think they are correctional officers.

Nostalgia walking in the door after 25+ years! After talking to the owner and finding out that I was older than skate world (me=July, skate world=August both of us in 1980), though, I was a bit upset 😁

Ive always loved skating and my place was in rehoboth. But after it shut down we had to find other outlets for skating a laurel was the place. I was taking my children and sister on weds nights to learn and the experience was amazing everyone was very helpful and kind. they helped my girls with tips and ways to keep their balance while learning to skate as well as talking to me about loosening their skates. the staff is amazing and we will be celebrating my daughters 10th birthday next weekend. Mrs. Debbie was prompt and very helpful with planning her special event.

•My daughters review• The man at the skate counter was being rude. He tightened my skates too tight after i asked him to only tighten them a little bit and he said "you need to learn to walk before you skate" after i told him i knew how to skate. He laughed disrespectfully in my face when i asked him to loosen my wheels.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE AN EXPERIENCED SKATER! Good place to learn but not if you know how to skate. I am a professional skater and I went here and was told I could not wear a hat, (which later someone else told me I coulduse my earbuds, and I was told several times to slow down ( I was barely going faster than everyone else not a exaggeration, they are very strict hereeven though I stayed on the outside of the rink and never made one person fall. This is more for kids 10 and under.

Great place for families and beginner skaters especially. I’d recommend Wednesday nights for small children and people who are new to skating. The owners are very friendly and offer skating tips when they see the opportunity. Reasonably priced snacks AND reasonably priced admission. I always make friends when I come here. If you’re looking to get into rollerskating and need a comfy, safe, and welcoming environment to learn in, definitely go to Skateworld in Laurel, De!!

The rink was quite slick. After awhile, you get used to it but not very favorable. But on the good side, they had fun games to play in the rink, some good choices at the snack bar. We had a good time, but the rink was the only iffy part of the trip though so they still deserve a respectable 4 star!

It is an older skating rink but well kept. The owners celebrated 40 years in business last year. They are from the shore and grew up going to the dream roller rink in wattsvill va. They are help full and give instructions to beginners. They can tighten your wheels so it is almost like walking until you get used to it. Wednesday nights are only 6 dollars to get in and skate rental. We rented the rink for 2 hours at 200 dollars and paid 5 dollars a piece for skates but that gave us exclusive access to the rink and a lot of one on one help for the kids at the birthday party. Highly recommend this place .

Nice place to bring family for fun. The only thing is that the floor felt too slick for the skates. I guess it just takes some getting use to.

I enjoyed my time there with my kids. It was clean, and everyone was so polite. People used their manners, I seen kids help catch my kids if they fell. We will definitely be back to skate soon! 💜💜💜 It is a good safe place for kids to go to have fun, and the Delaware needs places like this!

First time we went skating here. Staff was wonderful and very helpful. They are part of the global play program. Thanks to businesses like this joined with the program Im able to take my kids out a lot more than ever before bc Im a single mom of 6.Skate world went above and beyond to help make our experience the best.Only thing we didnt like is the fact that we have to wear a mask at all times even when seated at table unless eating or drinking.

Loved this place since I was 10 years old. Same owner for the last 40 years, going strong. Fun, great sound system, good music. Great place for our kiddos!

A little pricey but a lot of good family fun. The crew were very nice and engaging. The interior was a bit dated. Could maybe use some updating. But all in all, a fun time

They are stellar they scam you for your money they stole my friends AirPods and won’t give them back and they don’t turn anything on but heat so it’s is really hot and it way to over priced 3$ for a drink like jeez

Okay me and my friend had fun really good fun I fell and it hurt buy it was okay I had never skated but Im gonna practice and come back sometime for any employees that saw me a few hours ago I had a yellow and black hat that said cat on it I fell at the counter but everybody there tried to help great place friendly people Ill come back with practice next time

It was super hard to do for my first time but I still had fun trying.There games are cool and the food and staff were super nice to give me tricks on how to skate better.

I just scheduled my sons 10th birthday party here and the staff which happened to be the owner and his wife I believe but either way they still were very friendly and very helpful and we are definitely looking forward to celebrating my sons 10th birthday here.

Needs updating but its definitely a great local place for kid, friends, and family.

If I could do 0 stars that is what they would get! They need to hire all new employees cause the ones they have now have terrible attitudes just very ignorant about doing the jobs they r being paid to do. Plus its so dirty n nasty. Very unorganized for the birthday parties also! 3 scheduled at the same time with one girl having to do everything for each one.

This skating rink needs to be remodeled like ASAP! It looked the same when I was a kid. My son had fun at his cousins b-day so thats what counts!

Great place to bring the kids. Very attentive staff.

I probably wont go again. Kids are just dropped off and behave very inappropriately. One kid threw his skates across the dining area and began jumping on top of the tables. I really wanted to have a fun-filled family night, however, exposing my 7 year old and 14 year old to that kind of behavior was appalling! This business should require that parents stay with their children if nothing else but safety for themselves and others :(

I liked the fact that it was not crowded. If you don’t know how to skate I think it would be a great place to learn. Needs a little upgrading. The staff was very pleasant.

My son had fun! I support wholesome activities for the youth. We should support abd chose it before we lose it.

I grew up coming here every weekend !! And now I bring my daughter here and she loves it ..!!
