Sleepy Owl Supper Club in Kosciusko County

It was very delightful.We were seated right away even though it was a busy Saturday night. Our server Jessica was very helpful & pleasant. I had the filet cooked perfectly medium rare & my husband had the prime rib that was melt in your mouth sooo tender & good. The food & service were outstanding and we will definitely be back when we are in town again

The food was over priced and poor quality. Very slow service and one waiter was doing most everything and not able to tend to customers the way she could have . I felt the place was very understaffed.

We have rode past this place many times. Riding back from Missasinawa Battle Field, thought we would finally stop. We both ordered the prime rib. I swear my 16oz? prime rib was the same size as my Wifes 12oz! Besides that, they were drowned in auju juice instead of putting it in a cup for dipping. Baked potato, salad & bread sticks were good. Would return but would request auju in a cup though.

My boyfriend and I have been here a few times for dates and have ordered carryout a few times.Today we called to order carryout and the woman who answered was super rude. We asked for a New York and she said they didnt sell them anymore. So we asked what other steaks they have and she said she didnt know and that itll say online. The online menus clearly states a New York, thats where we saw it in the first place. She snapped and said she was there by herself and that wed have to give her a few minutes then put us on hold without saying anything else. We were on hold for about 3 minutes, then she came back and listed what they have. We said okay and were going to decide what other cut we wanted. She then proceeded to say "Thanks, bye" and hung up on us without taking our order.I understand being alone there could be stressful, but that doesnt mean be rude to your customers or hang up on them.Its so abnormal too, usually everyone is super kind and the food is good, just a little pricey. But after being treated poorly over the phone, Im unsure if we will go again anytime soon.Taking out your stress on your customers is a no go.

It was absolutely 🔥!! The lobster mac and cheese was sooo good. It was a traditional supper club experience. The food was excellent and the portions for the price was really good and I have a n healthy appetite, I was impressed!! The staff made you feel at home and service was excellent. Will definitely be coming back. We spent $120 that was including the tip. Me and my wife eat out alot. And It was so worth it.

Waitress who served us on 8/6/2022 before 4:00 pm, seemed to be the only server. Despite this, she was friendly and quick. Our food was amazing. We will be back!

Service was OK. Were pretty busy for a Wednesday evening. Needs to add more wait staff. I notice some people leaving because No one acknowledged that they had come in and stood at door waiting to greeted an seated. There were some people coming in with reservations however there were still plenty of tables open where no one were ever seated. The food was good but the wait staff was overwhelmed.

Really enjoy this place! The food is good! We had the prime rib. The BEST most TENDER FLAVORABLE juicy prime rib is at Down Under! There’s no comparison!

The food is a average and pricey for that. Theyre usually busy but very understaffed.

Food is OK, service is OK, every time there I am less than impressed.

Stopped in for lunch during a dreary day at the lake. Get the tenderloin! Great food.

Absolutely wonderful experience . I took my mother out for mothers day , the service was quick and kind . Along with and amazing meal and dessert this place was the highlight of my moms day.

Excellent service and atmosphere Prime rib was delicious only issue was the baked potato wasnt done enough. Will definitely go back!!!

My husband and I both ordered a salad and were very disappointed. Texture of shrimp was not right. Will not return.

Good food and fun times at the OWL. Great wine selections that wont break the bank. Take a bottle or two home next time and be sure to try the wings, pizza, broasted chicken, prime rib or dry-rub ribs. Will be back often!

The place was really nice, but seemed very crowded and loud, the seating wasnt the greatest. The food was pretty good though.

A must visit if you find yourself in the area. The food, the service, the ambiance, even the prices are outstanding. The wife had the Broasted Chicken, the son had the Chicken Waffle Sandwich and fries, I had the Lemon-pepper Broiled Cod. The chicken was crisp on the outside and moist. The son described his food as "exceptional" and my meal was great. Our drinks were refilled in a timely manner. The "never-ending" salad arrived well before the entrees as it should. The entrees arrived soon after the waiter had cleared the salad. I only noted two "not exceptional" things; The breadsticks were ok and the pepper on my cod was a bit heavy-handed for my palate. Other than those two nit-picky things, our visit was beyond pleasant and the closest thing weve found in the area to a perfect dining experience.

Food was amazing, customer service was nice. Tables were a little crowded though. Overall great experience.

This was such a disappointment. Had reservations at 7pm. Was seated promptly, waited maybe ten minutes for waitress and drink orders, ten more minutes for two sodas to arrive. Greasy onion rings for appetizer. "Olive Garden " style salad with nasty dressing, three breadsticks. One surf & turf, one ribeye. ONE AND A HALF HOURS FOR ENTRÉE to be served, and SIX BITES OUT OF AN 8-10oz LOBSTER TAIL, plus one side never came until we were finished eating. We couldnt inqure about the side, because the snooty waitress never once came back to the table. Finally got a soda refill while waiting for the check. The PLUS side...the steaks were FABULOUS. My compliments to the chef there. Everything else was mediocre at best, and the service was terrible. Biggest waste of $140 bucks in a VERY long time. Never again.

Food was good. At first very impersonal. That changed as we were there longer. A little bit slow on service. Once we ordered food came rather quickly.

Been here a few times. Prior to this last experience it would have been a 4. I had to wait 1-1/2 hours for a grilled tenderloin sandwich and it came out wrong. The server asked if I wanted them to remake it and I wasnt going to take a chance on another long wait.

5/8 Our reservation of 11 was 12:30p. We were seated timely and our drink order was taken. From there the service received from our very rude waitress made our experience not at all what it should have been and not what we have been used to at this restaurant. We waited and waited to even get our salad and didnt get all of them until prompted . Our appetizers were brought out but no plates so we all had to use our hands, no server in sight. Some of us got our food and some waited until everyone else was almost done. The server rarely came to refill drinks and was rude .At the end the server did not get our bills right as she charged for items we never got, won ton duck appetizers the restaurant was out of, one of our party never got the soup they ordered and so on. It took three times and one of those times she actually threw the bill across the table.Im horribly regretful we chose Sleepy Owl for what wad supposed to be an enjoyable lunch. Because of all the wait, we got out at 2:45p

The Sleepy Owl Supper Club is nothing to sleep on!! If in Syracuse, you must stop here. From the moment that my wife and I walked in, we were in love. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was relaxing and inviting, and the staff was so friendly. After discovering that we were visiting on our honeymoon, they surprised us with a delicious bowl of ice cream which reminded my wife of the ice cream back in her home country of the Philippines. And we were so humbled to discover that one of the other patrons even took care of our bill as a post wedding blessing. Im so excited to bring my wife back to both the Sleepy Owl Supper Club and Syracuse, IN (The lovely photos were provided by our wonderful waitress.)

We both LOVED the French onion soup! Fried chicken was good. Wasnt crazy about the onion rings. Oil temperature must have been wrong. Cooked to almost burnt, but still soggy with oil. Well be back for more soup though!

French onion soup was great.... spaghetti was great....salad was great......but downhill from there..... meatball was a rock and didnt taste like meat.....My friend had the chicken dinner and didnt realize it came fried......Very CRISPY fried..... terrible..... Prices seemed too high for the quality of food served.... Service was just ok.....I prefer friendly waitstaff......Thats about it.....We dont intend to go back...

This place is a major joke. If your not local or a LAKER as Syracuse calls them with money seems like it changes things if you were to go here. Went there around 130 one server no bar tender she was great. Food and quality was a joke

I hadnt been to the Sleepy Owl in years. Went there on New Years Eve. The food was great, as was the service.Nice atmosphere as well. I would recommend them for a nice night out and a nice meal.

Quaint restaurant that pours stiff drinks. We ordered the breaded tenderloin sandwich, the chicken and waffles, and the supreme pizza.The breaded tenderloin is definitely something worth making the journey for. The breading was nice and crunchy without being greasy, and the pickles were perfectly crispy and added the balance to the sandwich.

Chilean Sea Bass. Great atmosphere. Good service even though they were packed. Friendly staff

My family loves this place! Ive had good experiences dining in with large and small groups. There outdoor seating is a great addition. The menu options are all fantastic, for apps the killer bread is a favorite! Recently we went for carry out, it was fast and packaged up so well.

The food was excellent. My girlfriend had a chicken special that was delicious. I had my eye on a few things on the menu. I went with the spaghetti and meatball. I wanted something soft in case she couldnt chew her chicken with her new dental implants. We both started with a cup of the French Onion soup. The soup was very good. My spaghetti was great. The menu is eclectic and I think everybody will find things they will like. I thought it was unusual for a supper club to serve pizza, but it seemed pretty popular judging by the three tables around us who had it.Our waiter, Matt, was fantastic and earned a better than 25% tip.The prices were very reasonable. Complete with 2 chocolate martinis, which Im told were very tasty, it came in under $60. We both had enough to bring home for another meal. In fact I just finished my left over Spaghetti a few minutes ago. It was just as good the second time.Dont forget your "Worlds smallest sundae" for $0.50. Just the right amount to finish off with.

We didnt have a reservation but got seated right away. My friend had the breaded tenderloin and I had the broasted chicken. Both were delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Parking lot is usually full. Thats a sure sign of the establishment!Good food, good service! They work hard in there to make sure your glasses are full and youre enjoying yourself! An art form going by the wayside...Tip your staff well in The Sleepy Owl! They deserve it and we want them to want to stay too!

Pros: food was great. I had the seafood soup that was fantastic, the swordfish was really good. It was with berries, blueberries and feta cheese, would go back if the still has it. Ever one enjoyed their dinner.

It was good, I got the poke bowl. My bowl was okay the rice was a little bit under cooked. I give our watrace props for running the whole place practically. She was very nice and kind. She was answering the phone and serving my family and friends in the back room and the people by the front and outside.

The lobster Mac and cheese was AMAZING! The menu is extensive and has something for everyone. Their pizzas are great to share. We weren’t there on the weekend but I would come back to try their prime rib on Friday and Saturday. The restaurant is very busy, so make sure you get reservations at this local gem. Personally I think this is the best restaurant in Syracuse !

We hosted my daughter and son in laws wedding reception here this past weekend! It was a Magical, Perfect Venue. We Had wonderful Food/ Service/ and the venue was Amazing. Ashley our event coordinator did a phenomenal job helping us make sure it was everything we hoped for! She went above and beyond and was AMAZING to work with! A bonus too is they are very reasonably priced! If you need a place to host your event I highly recommend The Owls Nest! Conveniently but privately located in North Webster. Wonderful Experience

We went for Valentines Day we made reservations we loved it the atmosphere is beautiful n u can feel so much tranquility wit the rest was full ..We started with a fresh awsome salad really good n had a Ceviche of salmón pineaple shrimps mandarines was Delicious then we ordered our meal which let me add was Exquisite the filete Migñon with roasted potatoes n salmón with a baked potatoe n not to mention the dessert Creme Brule was so exquisite n just melt in your mouth ..Definitely we loved every minute we spent there ..The Moscatto sweet wine was so good n we will definitely come back....

Hands down the best restaurant Ive been too in a while! This was our 1st time there tonight and our waitress Sagan recommended alot of good food ,we ordered and she brought out our appetizers then our main dinner everything was perfect. The portions were great and we were even recommended a small sundae for 50 cents. We will definitely be back! Thanks again for experience

Years ago, I would go here for their breaded pork tenderloin sandwiches and I wondered if they were still good. So I stopped in while I was in the area for business and I wasnt disappointed! They have the best Ive ever had anywhere!

Amazing! They have a top notch chef, very good dinner. We went there on a Tuesday night after a dear friends funeral and were amazed, the last time I was there it was so so. Carlos, the chef, is amazing! He has a great background and is getting better. Our waitress did a great job as well.

The food was excellent. The service was great. The menu had a nice variety of choices. Overall a great place for a nice meal. We went for a dinner date and are in the bar side, but there was a family room too.
