SmartStyle Hair Salon in Effingham County

I took me & my mom to get our hair cut & styled cuz it was several months overdue. We had Erin Shehorn as our stylist & she did amazing. Weve had compliments for weeks since our hair cut. Absolutely love what she did for us both.

There was only one person manning the shop, so I had a little bit of a wait. My hair was long and I wanted to get rid of it all. That seemed to intimidate the hair dresser on duty (I didnt catch her name), but I talked her through what I wanted and she did a great job. She even sold me on some amazing shampoo by using it on me first and letting me realize how much I liked it before telling me about it. Now Im rid of all that pesky hair and have a great new shampoo. I left very happy.

Came in at 11:20 am and was told to come back at 12pm. Came back in and was told at 12:15 i wouldnt be in until 1. Terrible customer service.

My grandsons hair looked amazing. She was very sweet and friendly to talk too.

The stylist, Tangy Craig, does great haircuts. The cuts seem a little expensive.

Everytime I come here always greeted with smiles and they listen when you tell them what type of hair cut you want they will also suggest if you are having problems deciding. They are quick but efficient. If you want a good hair cut go here. They also do a really good job coloring your hair.

Kathy was very nice and did a wonderful job on my moms, my daughters (her very first haircut!and my hair! Very satisfied.

I gave only a one star because I tried to take my son in to get his hair cut and the lady told me I had to have a mask on. I informed her I have a medical condition that prevents me from wearing one. This is not what irritated me, what really did it for me was that she tried to one up me by saying she also has medical issues that prevent her from wearing one but she still has too. But she never had the mask over her nose or over her mouth for that matter. She also told me that it wasnt worth giving my son a haircut to lose her lisence. Which I completely understand but she also never had her mask on correctly and was always below her chin.

Emily did my hair and while she is leaving for bigger opportunities come see her before Christmas. She gave me more than I knew I wanted my hair to be!

The girl cutting my hair is super cute and short. When she cut my hair she wore a low cut shirt. It made me give her a big tip. Id go there again anytime

All 3 of my kids and my hsband and I also come here! The girls have ALWAYS made us feel comfortable and are great with my kids 😁 And they always do a fantastic job!!! 🤩

Got my haircut by Jennifer. She was very professional and very friendly. Most people never know what I want but she did. Would recommend to anyone and will be back again to see her!!

I usually am scared to get my haircut anymore after I went to a "professional" place in town that butchered my thick curly hair. However, Courtney and her team have always made me feel like Im in safe hands. I also love the bright and fun color dye jobs they do! Highly recommend! Make an appointment with them if you dont want to wait for a walk in, but this is to be expected as they are a busy location! 👌❤️

Emily is amazing!! She is one of the most passionate girls I know. She does such a amazing job! Couldnt have asked for a better job! I gave her free reign to do what ever to my hair last time and she did not disappoint! Make sure you ask for Emily!!!

Jennifer did a fantastic job on my hair. Always Friendly, kind. She even corrected my mistakes where I tried to cut my hair myself. I will be going back to Jennifer as a regular customer. ❤️

Great Haircut just wish the stylist would have been a little friendly

My husband always get his haircut here and he loves them. I got my hair colored and cut here before and wasnt happy with my experience. I asked for balayage which I know takes a while and I was going from brown to blonde so it wasnt an easy job. My stylist was talking rudely with the other stylist and to me about other customers as they walked in asking for services. I dont think she timed the bleach right or didnt tone one side enough because the left half of my hair is lighter and closer to the blonde I wanted while the other side is much more brassy. I asked for disconnected and noticable layers for my haircut and basically got a trim with one layer. I wont use them for myself but my husband loves them..he also gets a basic mans haircut...

Cheap and hair stylist was fun but also knowlegable

Went in for cut and color. As a color virgin it was painless. She cut my hair helped me with my color choice and got my hair perfect.

Go in an hour before closing for just a trim, get told to come back in 30 minutes and then 45 minutes later get told they cant help me.

Everything was great. Very cooperative other than I have a calick and the woman just cut that shorter than the rest so it would "look better" but I didnt want that. Other than that very good.
