I am in the midst of a complaint and suit. Courtesy of BBB heres someones experience similar to mine and the linda: "Smith Plumbing and Heating failed to resolve an issue with myfurnace. Upon inspection by another licensed plumbing andheating professional, it was found that the wrong types of valvesand wiring were installed during service by Smith Plumbing andHeating, resulting in extraordinarily high gas bills andnecessitating further repairs." I will soon post my own experience.10/26/2021 UPDATE My threat to sue was an empty one given the protections the local government and state give such bad actors. The single remedy available is to complain such as herein. Since this business is a virtual monopoly in the city granted by the city licensing board the power is in his hands. The board is run by the tradesmen and they brushed off my complaint. Since he is the man in the area I called him recently in a near heat emergency. He remembered my complaint. He told me it hurt his feelings. He could not fit me in and could not help with my problem. The power of business to harm those who hurt their feelings extends down from Big Tech to the home level.

They charged my mother $500 to prime her well to get water back in her new house when she moved in and the service man gave her a wrong filter for the system. As a master plumber that’s way out of state I’m appalled…. Shame on you….

Last year we hired them to repair a leak in the fuel line from our tank to the furnace. The guy who came changed out a section of the line that WASNT leaking and then argued with us when we said so. And just today we called them because the furnace was running rough and we were desperate (we couldnt get a hold of our regular repair guy). When the guy was done, the furnace wouldnt turn on. The person who is supposed to be a trained repair technician actually broke it. Theyre incompetent and will gouge you on the price. Never using again!

We used Smith Kitchen & Bath and had a great experience! They remodeled our bathroom which came out perfect. They are responsive and pay very close attention to detail. Thanks Debbie & Tom!

Never again. When I called to inquire about hiring them the person who picked up the phone said it would be $95 per hour. Two guys show up, one running around like he was on speed, splicing wires, while the other one just stood there... doing nothing, scratching himself. They were there for 30 minutes. Came back the next day with a replacement drum, installed it in an hour and left. I was charged for 4 hours of labor and my bill was almost $1000 while the drum only cost a couple hundred. Turns out I was charged $175 for two guys even thought the second guy did literally nothing. LITERALLY NOTHING. I called the company multiple times to resolve this bill but never got a call back until I disputed the charge with my bank and the owner had the audacity to call me complaining after I had tried to resolve this multiple times prior. A few weeks later and now my entire house shakes when the heat kicks on because the drum was clearly installed incorrectly. So now I will have to get another heating company to come and fix their sloppy job.My friend also used Smith Plumbing and also has a dispute out with their regarding his insanely high bill. I will NEVER use them again.

Our kitchen renovation came out beautiful and the team at Smith Plumbing headed up by Debbie Valentine made it a positive experience. The installers were professional, friendly, on time, and worked with little to no breaks. They were very focused and we could tell that they cared about the quality of their work. Smith Plumbing kept us within our budget and we are very pleased with the result. We highly recommend their service and their products. Thank you Smith Plumbing. Thank you Debbie!

Family member had a leak 1 hour 15 mins worth of work of which she did..all they did was snake the pipe/ drain charged her 506.00 for snaking a drain..One of the guys just watched the whole time even sat on the bed!! People warned her not to call them but @530 in the morning what do u do? Sorry but, this was absolutely Un called for..left her in tears...something has got to be done! Otherwise it will continue

We are living in an old farm house (1840and just had our kitchen being renovated with the help of Debbie Valentine and Linda Domanoski of Smith Plumbing and Heating Kitchen and Bath of Port Jervis (N.Y). Due to the age of the building and keeping the charm of the past as a priority, it was not an easy task to bring the comfort of modern living into dated structures. Because of the talent and the expertise of Debbie and Linda and the craftsmanship of Smith and Heating staff, the result is absolutely fantastic. Thank you
