Smith's Pharmacy in Salt Lake County

Now I have read some of the complaints of the other people now some are valid but some of the complaints are ridiculous to me but honestly when one of the staff tells me it will be done within a certain amount of time and then 30 minutes later its on backorder that is just bad communication or bad training

Gotta find a new pharmacy. 30 min wait every month I come here. I dread it every single month and sure enough every time, long long lines. Half the time they can’t find me in the system either. Someone else comes over and finds me fine.

Worst pharmacy ever! Don’t come here. Super short staff and never polite

Im not sure if they have had a change in employees but I CANT ever get through on the phone! When you do get through they just treat you like your some junkie looking for a fix regardless of what the medications you need.!!The customer service and communication skills are horrible at this location one person tells you something and then youre placed on hold and told something totally different by someone else then your treated like **** for asking questions at all!! After the week of sickness from their "Mistakes " Im just going to take my business elsewhere !! I heard CVS across the street is good

This pharmacy is a joke all the way around. Every time Ive had my sons prescriptions sent here they say there is an issue with his insurance. His insurance has been the same the whole time.. the first time, after a late night trip to the ER and asking the doctor to send the prescription here they couldnt figure it out so he had to go a full day with out his medicine. After hours on the phone with the insurance we figured out it was indeed on the pharmacys end. There was another time after that and same thing they figured out what they were doing wrong. Irritating but I just let it go. So today I call and surprise they cant figure out his insurance. Im super cordial to the guy and say okay Ill just come in after work and we can figure it out. Again my son has had the same insurance the whole time through every single one of these situations. I go up give his birthday and name and start explaining the situation and the girl has the worst attitude. If she would have listened to the words coming out of my mouth she would have already known there wasnt a prescription filled because we had to figure out what was going on with his insurance. She would rather talk to me like Im an idiot tho. You sure can tell she hates her job. The fact that I never once got angry and was super understanding every time this happened makes her behavior that much worse. I dont even leave bad reviews but I really just cant believe how bad they dropped the ball. For sure will be going anywhere but here from now on.

customer service is bad, cashier/ pharmacy tech have some attitude probadly hated their job haha

Good prices, good service#

Shopping here is on the high side. My spouse and I get sick from the the prepared deli foods. Stick to frozen and canned foods. The vegtables and fruit will barely last a couple of days before turning.

Nice local location. Clientele leaves much to be desired though.

Honestly Ive never had a single issue with them. When my blood pressure dropped the lady in TV bakery stayed by my side until I came around. And on my birthday I got a free cupcake. I love this place

Such a shame to see such bad customer service. My family and I have used thos pharmacy for as long as I can remember and up until today we were happy customers.We waited for a prescription for 8 hours today! First time they forgot it. Then when I called they said it would be an hour and they would notify me when it was ready. 4 1/2 hours later still no call. I call them and the lady that answered said it would be another hour. When I asked why it wasnt ready when I was told 1 hour HOURS ago she said she didnt know because she didnt know who I talked to. No apology, no explanation. Unacceptable.I understand they are busy but customer service should not be eliminated! People come here because they NEED their medications not because they WANT to be in the unfortunate health situations that they are. I had a barely breathing mother at home that they kept waiting for 8 hours for a prescription that they filled in 3 minutes when I showed up because it still wasnt ready. Unethical and honestly, Smiths should be ashamed to have people like this working for them.
