Sofa Selections in Cumberland County

We were underwhelmed with the sofa selections we found on the market until we came to Sofa Selections. The staff here are fantastic. They greeted us, then gave us time when we asked for it, then checked in and offered personal recommendations. They then helped us to pick a fabric and throw pillows. At no point did we feel pressured to make a purchase, or watched, or rushed. Delivery was smooth as can be, and we love our new couch!

Buyer beware: bad experience - get everything sales people tell you in writing. I went in to buy a couch and chair, picked out what I wanted, was told there would be a 10 month wait. At that point I asked if I bought the furniture, would I be able to cancel. I was told I could cancel if I did so within three months. I decided against waiting, went back in the next month and the salesperson denied telling me that, said furniture was in production. All of a sudden the manufacturer is all caught up? I certainly didn’t pull the three month cancel out of the air! I’m sure to placate me, I was told they would call the manufacturer to see if I could cancel and they would get back to me. I waited a week with no word. I went back to the store and was told I could not cancel. Was the delay in getting back to me because the furniture was now for sure in production! Will not buy from this store again, nor will I recommend it. Unhappy customer!

Nice selection of sofas. Prices started from ~$800 for single sofa. Sectionals started around $1300 and went as high as $4000+. Personally preferred the quality and service over stores such as Ashleys furniture. I would recommend checking them out if you are shopping for living-room furniture. They seem to have wide range of pricing and product selection.

I went to the mechanicsburg store looking for couches. The proprietors of this store are so great. they are honest helpful and will bend over backwards to accomadate. You dont find good people like this anymore. Threy will have my business from now on! I cant thank them enough for their customer service.

Where do you see companies stand behind their products and warrantees like sofa selections????We bought two sofas there with lifetime frame warranties and They fixed anything we needed without question..Super happy with them and would shop there again without question

Love this place. The furniture is such a value for the price and the staff is wonderful. I had questions about a product and they personally went the distance to first hand check the furniture to answer my questions before the sale. And, the furniture we bought 10 years ago from here was built well and still in great condition and going to a new home. You are the best Eileen and I will be back!!

Love this place ! From start to finish. Went to store at least 4 times before i chose sofa sleeper and 2 chairs.Very friendly and delivery was above and beyond what i expected. Second time buying.

I will start by saying the people are very nice and I enjoyed the selection they have. I am also, overall happy with our specific sofa.We purchased our sofas mid-September and paid cash . When they arrived at my house, they were extremely damaged and I should have rejected the order immediately, but didnt since Sofa Selections took photos and assured me they will order the replacement parts right away. Needless to say, about 30 phone calls and eight trips in personally to check on the status, it took them 5 months to finally repair my brand new, paid for sofas. Every time I called, they said "we are just waiting on the manufacturer" until I had enough and personally went in and had them call the manufacturer in front of me. Wouldnt you know it, a few days later the parts arrived.This may have been a fluke thing, but I am very disappointed in the transaction and they didnt seem to have any urgency to help me. After all, they did already have my money.Without the damage issue, it would have been an amazing experience, but it definitely shed some light on the customer service practices.

I love this place! We have bought numerous couches from them and have loved every one. I have always worked with Eileen and she is kind, patient and knowledgeable. The furniture has held up well and we love that we can put any fabric on it and pick pillow fabric too.

If I could go with zero stars I would. Over eight weeks after purchase of furniture, still waiting on repair of factory damage. Blaming it on the manufacturer whom I contacted on my own and said it is not at their fault. Will never recommend this store to anyone. Very very poor after sale service.Update: called today to question why I was told the manufacturer had to decide how to fix the problem. The manufacturer themselves told me they were not the issue that it was sofa selections responsibility within the first year. Then, then owner proceeded to verbally abuse me, using every curse word imaginable. His words were I cant fn stand you kind of people. Needless to say bbb has gotten a complaint from me and I have no plan on stopping there.

We could not have been more happy with our purchase of a sofa and loveseat at the store! The fabric choices were endless and it was quality furniture at a great price made in the USA!The owners were very accommodating and did not pressure us. We may several visits to the store until we finally decided and each time we were warmly greeted and given the space to make a decision.I would highly recommend this store over any store on the Carlisle Pike if you want affordable, quality furniture at a good price!

I dont understand any of these reviews... We bought our first sofa set from Sofa Selections in May 2007. It was a beautiful set, and we got a great deal. They included the fabric protection and delivery fee in the price. We dealt with one of the owners, and she was very nice, extremely professional. Then in September 2008 we bought a house and needed a second sofa set. This time we bought a floor model sectional for next to nothing. Again, we dealt with the same woman, and she was wonderful! Both sofa sets are still in perfect condition despite the fact that we have three cats and two dogs that get on the furniture all the time - no tears or stains. We will buy every sofa set from Sofa Selections and would recommend them to anyone!
