Excellent experience since the moment I contacted them through Instagram very fast and polite replies , when I went in for my consultation my hair dresser was really nice since the moment I walked in the door and very honest upon the choices I wanted to do on my hair which I loved , as well had a great time being there as I was getting my hair done by Ida she was very sweet and out going which made me feel safe and happy to be there because it no longer felt like I was with a complete stranger but someone I knew . The results of my hair were amazing I loved the after process .

I found this salon in a desperate moment for a blowout and they took me in the day they were closed! Go back on a weekly basis for blowouts and just did my hair coloring and this is the first time that I walked out of the salon happy with exactly what I asked for while my hair still protected!100% recommend every girl is amazing and they do an amazing job.

Ida did my blonde balayage, cut, and blow out. I communicated the color and showed reference of what I wanted and she did it perfectly! She was honest and talked me through everything she was doing as she was doing it. I really recommend her! I won’t be going to anyone else again 💕

I heard great things abt Sofis Salon and seen her work on 2 of my friends. Made an appointment to come see her and Ida is so wonderful!!! She was attentive, careful and delivered beautiful results! My appointment took abt 5 hrs altogether. Bleaching your hair is a process especially i have darker hair. She also uses a lower level of bleach so it doesnt destroy ur hair. I am so happy with my results and cant wait to go back! She’s definitely worth the travel from staten island to yonkers!!

Had the absolute best experience ever! Ida is absolutely amazing along with the other hair stylists that work there! The salon is super clean and everyone there is super friendly. My hair is very thin and frizzy and when I first came in my hair was absolutely dead. Ida not only revived it, but she also gave me a beautiful balayage as well. I am very happy with the experience and definitely will be coming back! So glad I found a salon i can fully trust.

I love this salon! I have been going to Gina for over 20 years now ever since I was a little girl she cared for my hair and my families hair. Anything you need she is always there to give you advise and recommend the best products. I wouldn’t go to anyone else ever! Everyone in the salon is so welcoming and they are always available to help. I love going to get my hair done because it’s like have a girls day at your favorite salon! Sofi’s Salon is the best Salon I’ve been to. Ida was so sweet and welcoming. The salon was very clean. I wear a hijab and it is not everyday that I find a salon with privacy. Ida was very respectful of my religious beliefs, and I appreciated that. She focused on every detail of my hair as if it was hers. She did not rush and she did a great job with my hair. I loved the result, and everyone that saw my hair was asking me where I got it done. I received many compliments, thank you Ida.

Gerri does an amazing job on my color and cut! I’ve got very thick and very curly hair and she knows just how to get the right timing and color for it. The rest of the staff are gracious, courteous and fun! Highly recommend!

I am VERY particular with my hair and who I go to... after hearing really great reviews on Sofi’s Salon, specifically Ida’s hair coloring capabilities, I decided to take a risk and make an appt. To say the least, I will never be going to another salon... I absolutely LOVE the way my hair came out! Ida took such great care of me and made sure she was doing exactly what I envisioned for highlights and hair cut. Not only is she a magician with hair but she is one of the kindest humans I’ve encountered. Very personable and does the right thing by her clients.

This is a very professional salon. The hairstylists are well trained in color. It is the main reason I come back. They listen to you especially with haircuts.Highly recommended.

I called the day before to set an appointment for my mom. Because of the Pandemic she hasnt been able to travel to her regular salon to get her hair done and she really wanted a trim and to dye her hair since its been over a year. I explained that she doesnt speak English very well and that they could call me if they had any questions. Ida was the her stylist , spoke to my mom after the appointment and she said she love the cut and color and that everyone was very nice and accommodating. Thank you Ida and everyone for taking care of my mom ! 😉

Ive come across this Salon but too long ago, and Im so thankful I did, they did balayage and keratin before the summer started and my color and hair has never looked better! I highly recommend this place

I love this place i was looking for a excellent salon and one of my friend told me about here and i just love it , they use great products for the hair they are very professional and its very clean .I never got so many compliments on my hair till I started going to Sofi’s saloon. . I’ve gone to many hair stylists before, and Ida is by far my favorite colorist! She leaves me more than satisfied every time, and makes sure to give me exactly what I want. I have finally found my salon. The staff is amazing and they do a beautiful job. I first went in there with my orange hair and they were able to do their magic and fix my color. I am in love with my highlights now. I just recently got my Keratin Treatment and let me tell you, it’s the best decision I ever made. My hair feels so much softer and healthier and the best part is i am able to blow dry my hair in half of the time. I found this place and I will definitely keep going there again!

Same gang, new name! I have been going to Gina at Sofis salon (formerly G&G Styles, but dont worry Gina & Geri are still there!for years now. I always leave with my hair looking great and feeling healthy. What I value the most is the honesty, if you ask for something that she feels your hair cant handle, she will tell you. My hair was starting to get damaged from a summer of too many highlights I kept insisting on and too much sun. Thanks to Ginas honesty, recommendations and help, my hair is now full, shiny and healthy again. Gotta love a stylist that actually cares about the health of your hair and not just looking to charge for services.The recent updates to the salon are beautiful, and the new owner is a sweetheart! If Ida is washing your hair make sure to ask for one of her famous head massages, I almost fell asleep from being so relaxed.

I had been going to a salon in Hastings for years cause it was close to home and convenient. Satisfied but not overly impressed with my stylist I decided to give Gina at Sofis salon a try at the recommendation of my coworker and I am so glad I did! Gina wowed me at my first visit, my color & cut was perfection and exactly I wanted and the pricing was almost half what my old salon charged. The rest of the staff is great too, very friendly, professional and make you feel right at home. Great stylists & staff, fair prices and phenomenal work!

But after giving it a chance, I will be a returning client for the future to come. They walked me through the process of getting to the blonde I wanted to achieve.Lovely place. Wanted to get a color change for the first did a good job, cant top staring at my hair and lots of compliments! Also, very patient since i was confused with the toners and stuck with me, making sure it was perfect to my liking! very clean and follows COVID19 precautions. I def recommend this place.

I was a little skeptical about going here since they have a new management but boy oh boy am I glad to have tried them. It’s SO hard to find a good salon and a hair stylist that actually listens to you and not just do whatever they want. Ida is the owner and she’s honestly the best. Totally worth my 30+ minutes drive there but I least I know they will do my highlights just the way I always wanted and not damage my hair. So happy to have found this little gem!!

The hairdresser put highlights on my hair and I loved the results. I herd about this place from a co-worker, who had a color and cut done for a wedding about a month ago. I have been searching for a place that does dimensional colors of gold and gray. And this place far exceeded my expectations!!! the best part of it all is that it’s now been 3 weeks since the color and I feel like my hair is healthier than before, crazy I know! I also got a cut to cut off the dead ends I had and wasn’t sure if I should go with a layered end or straight cut, but with some amazing advice from Ida I was sold on the straight cut as my hair is too thin and the layers (like I had beforemade my dead ends more noticeable. The place was beautiful, super clean (followed all the proper COVID-19 protocols, as a first responder this is a huge pet-peeve of mine and had a very welcoming vibe. One thing that stood out the most was ida’s honesty . I went there with a friend and she asked Ida if she should add some highlights to her hair (this would’ve been her 5th time adding bleach to her hair just this year!however, Ida graciously advised her that she should definitely allow her hair to heal before adding anything else to it. I thought that was huge!! as I’ve been to so many other salons and when I had asked a similar question they were quick to say yes as all they cared about was my money rather than the health of my hair. So I say all of this because if you are looking for AMAZING service, honesty, cleanliness and fair pricing!!! Sofi’s is your new home for all your hair care needs.
