You could see his love for music and helping children.
Amazing couple have shopped there for years.Always a great experience.
Muy amable el dueño explica todo detalladamente
My go-to music store for the last 12 years.
Bob and Marylin are super honest and nice people. This is the 6th time we have came in to get violins. We are always extremely satisfied. Thanks again. TheGreenwood Family
Great place to buy your musical instruments. Bob is very knowledgeable, courteous and price is reasonable.
The owners are very helpful and knowledgeable. My go to Music store.
Not your ordinary musical instrument store. Stop in and meet Bob & Maryland, founders, musicians, deal makers, musical historians to a certain degree and extremely tuned into whats relative today and yesterday. I recommend stopping by, play an instrument off their wall that catches your fancy and discover magic.
Great prices and hometown service. They put new strings on and tuned my over 34 year old mini electric guitar. Now my youngest child is picking away trying to learn. We have bought a trombone and alto sax from then. They fixed the family violin. They talked to all three of my children about music and instruments. They showed my oldest daughter a French horn since she would be playing the school instrument later. They will take as much time with you as you need. The last time I came in I was in a hurry and needed to pick up and go. They were thorough yet caring in the fast transaction. I wouldnt dream of going anywhere else. A small establishment with BIG heart for the needs of people. No need to take a number here, I assure you theyll treat you like family.
Love the people that own this place, knowledgeable, helpful, and passionate about music
Probably better with violins and what not, took my bass there to get set up. It wasn’t done correctly. The price was very reasonable and I’m not upset, I just wouldn’t recommend taking your bass there for a set up.
We have now purchased 4 violins 🎻. Bob and his wife are extremely nice and easy going. Very knowledgeable about the instruments and helpful keeping within a friendly budget. Highly recommend and plan to return when and if my youngest decides to play or my middle needs a bigger size.
Music stuff staff has lots of knowlage on insturments.
Love coming here for all my guitar needs or just to look around. Marilyn and Bob are so helpful and friendly. They really appreciate their customers.
Nice people good prices good deals
Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Got a new guitar and will be taking my old ones here for service in the future.
Genial
Mr. Ward is a wonderful person with a wealth of knowledge.
Great personal service from a local store
Good... vintage store
Muy buena atención por parte del dueño
Friendly and helpful staff. Whenever I needed an answer to a music question these guys pointed me in the right direction. Overall its just a great place to explore and find musical products
Mr. Bob and his wife Marilyn are family in this community to everyone the meet. They have the best customer service and take time with their customers.
Exelent very friendly and have a lot of instruments almost everything you looking for. I recomend this place!!
Great place to get all things music... Bob and Marilyn are honest, entertaining and knowledgeable. Take your band students here for instruments, repairs and supplies
This is that store you walk into and know something great is LITERALLY buried in there. No music store has more stuff gingerly stacked into perilous mountain ranges throughout the store. The prices here are a little high, and the owner doesnt like to haggle, but you can still get a deal here. Pedal buyers look elsewhere because the owner sells most of his pedals online, leaving very few in store.
Picked up a 1/16 violin while looking at all of the incredible finds. It might be a bit cramped but if you find what you have been looking for, it is worth it.
LOTS of hidden gems in here. Great prices and super helpful customer service
Great place to find used musicalInstruments , sound equipmentand more . Lots of stuff packedIn a small space . Worth visiting .
Some great finds to be had
Great place to pick through some amazing guitars, amps and weird collectables. The owner and his wife are true characters and just the quantity and variety of stuff make this place a must see for anyone with and interest in music, be it as a beginner or experienced player. Check this place out and, if you can, spend some time checking out the inventory.
Wonderful people and instruments
Awesome
I love this store! Its like going back in time!
Honest&true: wow! Excellent service. I really dont know where to begin. But I must say that Mr. Bob and Mrs. Marylin are incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Mr. Bob will give you sound information and will make suggestions that will only benefit your child. He does this for all his customers no matter who you are or what you look like. It is so good to know that there is a business still around that cares about making the customers happy and providing quality all around. My children and I are treated with respect from the moment we walk in and I love the fact that Mr Bob not only shares important information but he teaches as well. So, my children and I always leave Sound Associates learning something new about their instruments. One of the things I appreciate the most is he makes my children feel valuable and what I mean by that he treats them as musicians he talks to them as if they are musicians which technically they are but he gives them that respect. Will always come to Sound Associates.
Excellent selection of many instruments! Great service and friendly and informative staff! Looking forward to my next visit.
Great service.
Knowledge and sound advice ! " take as long as you want and try as many different guitars out. The weight and the feel of them are as important as their sound."
Very nice and helpful owner who is absolutely there for the Love of the Craft and not just to make a dollar. He was very very helpful and informative.
Ive shopped at Sound Associates three or four times. Havent always bought something. But the folks there are friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. I was beyond impressed that the proprietor was willing to share his time with me and explain things so that I (a complete novicecould understand. He did this without a hint of the condescension that is so prevalent in some stores. There is always a wide and eclectic assortment of gear. Make sure you have extra time when you visit, because youll be there longer than you planned ;-)
Incredible staff thats more than helpful and courteous. Plentiful selection and great prices. A must see store for any music needs. Strongly recommended!
Knowledgeable staff and born musicians all around

Very crowded and when I went there the person working went to go talk to another customer and forgot about us.

Great place to shop for older instruments, staff knows their stuff. Honest!! 🎧🎶🎸
